I worked directly with Bill Koen to design the ring with his jeweler - we went through a couple iterations of the design and he even had wax molds made so that I could try it on with my engagement ring before making it. It came out more beautiful than I ever imagined!! Bill was so sweet and helpful throughout the whole process, despite having to navigate this through the initial COVID shutdown. Watch battery changes, sizing, and they even did some weird off jewelry repair request on large gauge plugs that I asked for.Recently I had them turn one of my mothers turquoise earrings into a ring. I love love loved my entire experience with Joe Koen & Sons. My fiancé purchased my diamond with Deanna, then purchased a new setting to customize my ring. The entire process was so seamless and Deanna was so helpful with every step of the way, from the diamond knowledge to helping him with picking the setting that would go well with the diamond, all while taking my preference into considerations. She definitely accommodated our needs, giving us the best service and was the most kind and patience. The ring resizing took a day, and replacing the setting took 3 business days, so quick. Additionally, I would like I mention that I have a very small ring finger and the setting chosen was hard to adjust to my size. However, when we got the ring back, it was flawless! I was completely in love!Alsoooo, one of my pave diamonds on my band fell out (since I have a very very thin band and this tends to happen), the process to get it fixed was seamless. We dropped it off on a Monday and was able to pick it up on Saturday, and it looks brand spanking new.I couldn’t be happier with my engagement ring, especially knowing that we got it from the oldest jewelry store in Austin, TX. Definitely a close place in my heart!
