I have purchased breakfast from this small business monthly for over 5 years. The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is top notch too. It’s family owned and operated. Philly always knows my name and greets me with a smile every time.

She has an Amazing product. Everything she makes is delicious. She is not closed. She is open Tuesday through Sunday closed Monday

Fresh donuts. The texture was so pleasant, not dry, not oily. Just nice and pillowy. Definitely got those hole in the wall vibes but they’re super nice and polite.

I don’t eat donuts very often but when I do this is my go to place. The donuts are always fresh and super fluffy. There jalapeño cheese Kolache‘s are hands down my favorite thing there. Also the staff is always welcoming and super friendly.

I frequent this place for surprise breakfasts for my coworkers on Fridays or anticipated rough days at work. Im always pleased with the quality of food and the service. The people working there seem like great people and I love how friendly they are and the consistency of their wide range of awesome breakfast treats.

I stop by this Donut shop about once a week. Their croissant sandwiches are delicious! The staff is always very friendly and they often sneak extra donut holes into my order, haha.

Was fine as a donut shop, decent cake and yeast and fritter donuts, as well as croissants and breakfast tacos (flour only). White cream filling very strange though.. took one bite of a cream filled selection and the cream was not sweet at all, almost. tasted plasticy.. tough to get that flavor out of my mouth.. plus there is a bum sleeping outside the door.

Their donuts were a little too sweet for me, but they looked very pretty, and their kolaches were pretty good so Ill probably try them again at some point. Not bad!

The donuts are filled to order, people! Want a chocolate long john with buttercream filling? Maple long john with strawberry? Theyll do it no matter how awful your tastes are. Heres the kicker, a custom filled ranges from $.90 to $1.40 depending on the canvas (round or long john).Why is this great? If you have to ask why, you wont appreciate it, go to some other place where robots make donuts. They adher to donut guild code, which means you need to get there before 10am to have selection, before 7 for transcendence. If you cant make those hours, youve got bigger problems than not eating these amazing donuts.

Central Donut is an amazing place! The lady who helped me( I unfortunately did not get her name) was extremely helpful and friendly. Service was fast and the place is very clean. I would definitely drive up to Austin again to re-visit this small place again! Doughnuts were delicious! Thank you!!!

Every visit is the worst at donut place. I ordered 3 things. The lady forgot 2 of 3. 11AM. It wasnt busy nor crowded, just me. Still messing up the only order. Very disorderly place. Im sorry I cant review what donuts are like. Because I never got them.There are two other donut shops within 1 mile. Just go to the other places.

Super cheap and delicious. I recommend the croissant sandwiches - I usually only want egg & cheese on mine and theyll always go in the back and make one for me without meat. Their donuts are above average too. Try an apple fritter if youve completely given up on calorie control.

Service is always prompt even when they have a full house. Had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. It has a great atmosphere.

First Ill start with the good stuff. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cream cheese kolache and sour cream/buttermilk donuts were pretty good. Ultimately this would be a 3 or 4 star review if that was all I had.Unfortunately, I also got a custard filled long John. The custard tasted like it had garlic mixed in it and I ultimately didnt finish it. Its possible that this was a fluke but if not the recipe needs to change immediately.

Way better than some big chain breakfast! Prices are great, you can get a huge sausage, egg, and cheese croissant for less than $2.50 after tax. A lot of things are less than $2. Speedy service too

When i lived and worked in Austin this was my Friday go to place for breakfast. This is the best place to get blueberry cake donuts in Austin! Open 5 a.m. until noon, this is your dash-in, dash-out Donut & Kolaches & Biscuit-Sandwich & Breakfast-Taco place with a friendly flourish. When you see the post office driver come in before leaving with a truck full of mail, you know youre in the right place for caffeine and sugar with an option for a little protein. The cooler even has Kambucha for the foodies. Every clerk is a family member, and kids drawings are on the wall. Hidden behind the north side of Walgreens at Metric & Braker.

We have been here a couple times and everything was fine. Not amazing but not terrible. The last time we went in the donuts tasted like acetone. We wont be going back.

Great donuts but one of mine did not get filled even after I asked but the donuts make up for it so 5 stars from me.

Unfortunately the dozen chocolate-covered donuts we picked up this morning tasted like a bottle of acetone was dumped into the batch. The breading was good, it was only the chocolate that had the chemical taste. Ive had that experience once before with packaged chocolate donuts, but never with fresh. Very disappointed since we thought this was going to be our go-to; will have to look elsewhere.

This is the only place I buy donuts. Family owned and always delightful experience. Kids love it and food is delicious. They have any type of drink you can imagine as well. I really love this place.

I come here for the kolaches more than anything else. The donuts are fine, but the kolaches blow them out if the water. Inexpensive, and lots of options. The staff is consistently polite, and understanding if youre half asleep in the morning 😃

First time trying this place out. The kolaches were pretty good. However, I asked for 6 sausage and 6 sauage with cheese but they all had cheese in them. Not a big deal. The donuts however tasted AWFUL. I cant even describe what was in them. Nail polish or something along those lines is what they tasted like. The owner was nice about it and told me to bring them back but I doubt I will ever return after that.

WOW!This place is amazing!! I have stopped here several times in the past for breakfast and I have NEVER had a bad experience here!! The place always looks so clean and the workers here are very friendly! Its not even the fact that they have the typical Welcome! What would you like to order?. I mean, these workers actually talk like normal human beings!! They usually say things like: Howre ya doin this mornin? or Oh hey! Its you again!And my my, what great donuts! I typically get a few tacos here as well, but their donuts are pretty darn wide in variety! I have tried almost every donut there before, and they are all really worth the trip.My ONLY picky thing about this place is its location. Its right behind a Wendys hidden in the middle of a bunch of other notable joints that would steal customers like Subway or that (Kolache?) place. The first time I discovered it was only after I went out of my way searching for it on google maps....and then I finally realized I drove past it about 3 times.Its so hidden....but once I found it, I cant stop going there.But alas! Its still a great place to get a quick and cheap breakfast with some positive energy flowing through your body. 5 stars!

Jelly and cheese kolachi is amazing and the rest of donuts look great and the prices are surprising enough that I thought she forgot a couple of items. The coffee is weak, but not bad.

Thier chocolate tastes like it has gasoline or some sort of chemical in it. We buy thier donuts every week for our meeting at work and numerous co-workers noticed it.
