Hy-Vee is a quality grocery store but the recently built building now has worse deals, is poorly organized, and practically hides items that are advertised as being on sale. Its taken a step down in my honest opinion and gotten worse than when it operated in the old Hy-Vee building.
Good stuff..
I normally dont like ripping on a local business on here, but I must express my frustration with your local Austin Hy-Vee. Over a week ago I brought my pants in to be dry cleaned. Ive never had a problem and theyve always done well. I go to pick the pants up several days later and learn that they were given out to another person named SCHULTZ, not SCHULZ, and that person was now in FING New York. So, I must wait until this person gets back to get my clothes. I was informed that they were very sorry, and would contact me immediately once the pants have arrived. Days go by, several days past the time they expected them. I call today and the young person on the phone acts like its an inconvenience, doesnt know a thing about my pants, and after keeping me on hold for 5 minutes states Yep, they are here... So, was anyone going to call me? Was anyone going to go out of their way to assist me in this? Or does the customer always have to take the initiative to resolve a problem in your store? Unbelievably poor level of service there, Hy-Vee.
Great staff
