Tiny donut shop in unassuming location. Good selection of donuts and savory breakfast sandwiches. We came near closing time, and the hostess threw in a couple donut holes on the house. Definitely hit the spot!

Donuts are amazing and light, not greasy and heavy. My daughter is almost 4 and weve been going here for about the last 2 years. Its a tradition that we go every Friday before school. She couldnt say donuts on Friday when she just started talking so she shortened it to DOEFRY (Donut Fridays) and it just stuck. Shes so excited to go here every week and we thank Lea and the other workers there for always be so nice. Theyre pretty much as much part of our Friday morning tradition as the donuts themselves. They even gave her a donut ring one time that she absolutely loved, until she lost it 6 hours later. Great place with great food. P.S. The taco truck next door to them sell really good fresh tacos and they have outdoor tables.

Lovely customer service. They didn’t hesitate to make my husband a fresh sandwich. Freshest kolaches in town. May I suggest adding an option to tip with a credit or debit card! Take some cash to leave a tip, they deserve it.

This is a super easy location, and best donuts in town. Everyone who works here is great and they sometimes have samples of donut holes up on the case. Classic, simple, tasty.

Stopped in on a Tuesday. I will be bringing friends next time. It has a good atmosphere. Menu is like a cafe in Boston I loved.

This is an amazing small donut shop. The glazed donuts are some of the best Ive had. If you just want a good donut go here. If you want a trendy hipster donut then go to voodoo. I always stop here when Im in Austin.

Donuts are good, prices for doints are extremely high. When I say high like $14 a dozen.. Yes yes I know its at congress and riverside and the owners rent is ridiculously high.. I still feel its expensive. No signage stating the cost either..

I love howdy donuts. They make great donuts and kolaches. And the service is great too. They always remember my order when I come in and everyone in there is always so happy and positive.

Great donut shop with a lot of options. They regularly run specials, so make sure to ask. They have a few tables to enjoy your morning coffee and donut. Parking is very limited and the place can get busy in the mornings.

Best kolache (pig in a blanket) Ive had in Texas! I got the jumbo, non-spicy. Also got a glazed donut, chocolate top donut, apple fritter, cinnamon sour cream cake donut, blueberry cake donut, and a handful of (free?) donut holes, all for less than 10 bucks.The ambiance itself is very simple (yet colorful), and the family that owns it is pretty nice. This place looks and sits adjacent to very bland, slightly shady places, but it is definitely worth a visit. You can also walk over by the foot trucks for outdoor seating.

Seriously some of the best donuts Ive ever had. Try the kolaches too! Service is nice and friendly, and will hook you up with some awesome donut holes when you buy a dozen!

Maybe I got a bad batch (based on the other reviews) but my Fritter was 2/3 saturated in oil and nearly inedible.However the service was friendly and my wifes blueberry donut was decent.

Overpriced and unimpressive kolachies. If you have ever had a good kolachie dont let this high rating fool you. They are made with hotdogs and $3 a pop. This place is an expensive joke and you arent the one laughing. Everyone that is rating this 5 star has never had real kolachies

Pretty good little doughnut place downtown. It isnt too expensive and it is one of the few places you can get food really early.

Try not to judge the place from the outside, pretty cool little spot and the donuts were great.

We were going to go to Voodoo, but the line was insane! We went here instead and it did not disappoint us at all! Very good doughnuts and kolaches.

This is my spot. Best donuts and Jalapeno Sausage Kolaches in town.
