Anytime I call this company the front desk girl Lindsey is completely rude and oblivious. She has said multiple times that she would accommodate and get back to us but then we NEVER hear back from her. When confronted she will throw everyone else under the bus (shes done this multiple times) and takes zero accountability for her role in things. There is literally one employee in shipping that seems to have any idea of what is going on, communicates, and goes the extra mile. Buyer beware, it really seems like management has zero communication with their employees and the entire company is suffering because of it .

I would not recommend Martel; the service is horrible.I purchased a multi-panel sliding glass Fleetwood door. It was installed two weeks ago and is defective. One of the panels is out of square, and the door does not close properly and cannot be locked/secured. Ive called multiple people multiple times and still get no response. No one seems to care that this very expensive door is defective.Also, my ales rep Christie Chisena is the WORST! She does not return calls and literally did nothing to earn this sale. It just fell in her lap, and she cant take a minute to return a call or email. If you get her on the line as your rep, Id pass and try again.This experience could not be worse.

We were extremely satisfied with our sales person. She was super helpful and knowledgeable. Made us feel very comfortable since replacing windows is not a small job. The install crew was amazing. Their work is top notch. We would definitely recommend Martel to anyone needing windows.

I love my new windows! Most important to me is that I did not have to have a minimum order. I have used them twice and will use them again when I can replace the remainder of my windows. They arrived when they said they would did a great job. Hillary was great to work with and made sure I knew exactly what I was ordering and what my options were.

I’m a remodel contractor in Austin. Hillary, the Martel saleswoman, did a great job getting the style of windows I needed at an affordable price. Their installers were great! I will be using them again in the future and highly recommend them.

Our first interaction with Martel was positive but our experience since placing our order has been nothing but awful. Our order was placed months after making the down payment and almost delayed our construction project. During that time, Jeremy did not reply to repeated attempts from our builder to get the status of the order. Finally, he acknowledged that the order had fallen through the cracks and hadnt been placed. He met with us in person, shook my hand, apologized for the mistake, and committed to resolving an issue with the sash of one of the windows, replacing crooked insect screens for three of them, and making adjustments to the sliding doors. That was back in February. Were still waiting. Again, our builder has contacted Jeremy and Sean, the owner, repeatedly with no response. Its puzzling that a company would go out of their way to provide such awful customer service when all we want at this point is for them to replace defective parts for which we already paid. Another word of advice if you still decide to buy from Martel. Research and verify any product information they give you. We got incorrect product information from Jeremy multiple times, some of which we didnt catch in time and now have to live with.UPDATE: I was not referring to the back door. I was referring to the Fleetwood sliding doors. As I said, Jeremy came to the construction site earlier in the year and apologized in person for not placing the order on time. He said he had been too busy and the order fell through the cracks. With regards to the rest of Martels response, it shows that theyre more concerned with misrepresenting facts and getting into a back and forth in with a customer and essentially calling them liars in a public review than getting issues resolved. Other than the time Jeremy came to the construction site, theyve never reached out to us to give an update or apologize for the delay until now. I could write another paragraph explaining what really happened with the door lock and the non-existent window cranks but I wont.

As a General Contractor/Builder, Ive had experiences with several window and door manufactures and suppliers.Everyone comes with its own set of challenges; however, working with Hillary Kilpatrick at Martel Windows & Doors, LLC has by far been THE BEST experience in ordering and delivering on time! Sean spent the time to personally assess my needs so the window was exactly what I wanted and ordered. Martel deals with respected and reputable vendors. This is an excellent company

Great experience with these guys. Great selection, knowledgeable, attention to detail and prompt/meticulous delivery and installation. This is our 4th or 5th project with them.

Good looking windows (MilGard) from one of the few vendors I could find who will measure and order windows without requiring you to use their installation services. That was key for me.Jeremy was easy to work with and the one issue that occurred (a broken sash) was rush ordered and we only waited a short time to get a replacement.The only downside(s) were two: (1) actual windows delivery was longer by 2 weeks than estimated, so much of interior construction/finishing was on hold and (2) communications were not great. Not from the standpoint of avoiding communications, just they are so freaking busy that getting answers often took longer than was reasonable.All in all, I would not only work with them again but think they are a solid company in an often shady industry. Keep it up guys!
