We love our new front door. We were very impressed by the thorough planning and measuring the Front Door Company put into the front end of the project. As a result the rest of the project went smoothly, the new door fit perfectly, and there were no surprises on the back end. The door itself was exactly what we ordered and is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. And the installation team did a great job of installing the new threshold and door frame, fitting the door, and cleaning up afterwards. Overall, this was a very successful project.

Found this location after we were shopping with Durango Doors down the road. Had the exact same door made (fully customized design!) with a VERY friendly salesman and it turned out beautiful. They were around $2k cheaper than Durango and the doors were made in the same city in Mexico so it was probably the same company. Only downside is that it took 2.5 months longer than expected to get the doors because of supply chain issues.

Excellent everything! From the selection process to the installation everything went so smooth. We originally went with a different company and ended up with 2 failed attempts at a new front door. But once we called The Front Door Company they were wonderful. We even had 2 special simultaneous side projects of pouring new concrete and and adding a storm door and they were able to coordinate with us and our concrete guy to make everything great.Highly recommend!

Very professional company to work with! We had a very strange door situation, and also wanted a custom door, and they worked it out no problem. Even sent me a mockup of the door to make sure we were on the same page.The main installer was beyond experienced - hed been installing doors for 35 years - not only was he fine tackling our strange doorway, but when we failed to mention we were having new siding installed, and the siding was thicker than the existing cedar, he came up with a totally perfect solution and installed it ahead of time and it fit the thickness *perfectly*.Oh, and weve been getting so many compliments on the door!!

I submitted for a quote Sunday evening and by Monday morning I had a detailed quote in my inbox. I emailed a few times with Lance and we were set. They scheduled a visit to get an accurate measurement of the door that same week. 4 weeks later, we had our door installed. The process was quick and easy. Installation was incredible, the installer was detail oriented and took his time to make sure his work was exactly how he would want it done on his house. The cost was significantly cheaper than any other quote and included installation. I would have spent more money buying the door from Home Depot and installing it myself. Product purchased was an 8 foot tall- five lite front entry door.

We replaced our front door with a glass mahogany door from The Front Door Company. The whole experience was A+ from selecting the door to installation. The door is high quality and fits perfectly in the frame. We are so pleased and glad we used this company who did a wonderful job, and the company made sure we were completely satisfied with the end product. My husband and I had a fantastic experience with The Front Door company! I initially went to the showroom by myself and picked out three doors that I liked. Mr. Thomas helped me with quotes for each so that my husband and I could review. We decided on a beautiful mahogany, wrought iron, and glass door. Mr. Lance came out a short time later to measure our doorway for specs. We anxiously awaited the arrival of our new custom door! The install went beautifully. It has been almost a year since then and we couldn’t be happier. This is an honest, reputable company, with fabulous customer service. Every expectation that was set by this company was either met or exceeded in our experience with them for price, product & timeframe. HOME OWNERS BEWARE! I am having to come out with a statement regarding this company. They installed doors that were not built to standard on our home. We spent thousands of dollars on these French doors. Lance, the gentleman we worked with at the Front Door Company on Burnet, said he would replace the faulty doors. However, he has since changed his mind and instead sent over a repair man to rig them to the best of his best ability. Not only that, but in the time it took Lance to decide not to stand by his word, the doors were left unprimed and open to the elements during several rainy days. Unfortunately, I broke my ankle and we have neither the hearts nor the time to deal with this company anymore. It sounds like they get many things right, but when they get it wrong, boy do they get it wrong! The Front Door Company owes my family and all customers better than this.

We had to have 4 exterior doors replaced and Thomas was very helpful in providing guidance on what kind of doors are best for each of the locations. Their installation crew finished up the job in 1 day and did an amazing job. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to replace doors.

We worked with Francisco, ordering our doors, and with Lance who measured and installed them. They are gorgeous, just what we wanted. Francisco was easy to reach by phone. And Lance is a real pro installer.A couple of problems: They were supposed to be ready in 8 weeks. Instead, it took 90 days from the date of our order! And (we ordered them primed for painting) they arrived very rough -- they should have been sanded after priming. But overall, this company is a joy to work with. You wont be sorry, unless you are in a huge hurry!

Installation was done well and the cleanup was perfect. I cant say enough good things about how they helped me out when I was in a crisis. Really amazing company.

The sales experience was fairly fluid, and I cannot quantify how great of a job Aaron did on the installation. Unfortunately we went about 11 weeks between purchase and install, and the communication in that time frame was spotty. That period was extended by a door having to be returned due to incorrect construction, so there was some reasoning. I would recommend the product, I highly recommend the on-site service, just not the best if you need a door quickly.

Wonderful door, and installation experience. Clay did a great job helping us pick out the right one. It takes a few weeks, its not an overnight process, but they were quick to let us know when when there was a opportunity to get things done quicker. The door is stunning and blends in perfectly with the house.

Our Emtek brand front door lock was broken and the only solution was likely to have to replace the entire handle, etc. A small internal component was broken and Emtek doesnt replace individual components like this and therefore, the fix was quickly becoming quite expensive. I spoke to Lance at The Front Door Company and he was able to locate a spare replacement piece. This was the only place in Austin that could help me with this particular piece. If you ever need a door repair, call The Front Door Company!

Ordered a new Wooden Front door, the process took a long time about 8 weeks to get it installed. The door looks great but really expensive about $3K complete installed with new door jam.Quality appears to be good but only time will tell. What I really didnt like for the cost of this door it came with no warranty. So if i doesnt last we are screwed. That makes me have second thoughts on whether I should have went with this company in the first place. I will update my review on the quality and durability over time or if I encounter any issues.

Lots of good selections and nice people inside. However, we went in and it took almost 2 hours to order a front door when we knew exactly what door we wanted with what stain we wanted. The wait over the weekend is insanely long.Also, the door went from ~$1500 to almost $2400 with installation, all kinds of add ons that they tried to sell us. Then at the very end they tried to sell me a thief deterrent in that it is just a small piece of metal that is screwed into the frame to try to stop the deadbolt from breaking through and someone kicking in the door.The piece of metal is most likely worth about $5 and they snuck this in there at a cost of $85!I really did like this place but the up sell factor is insane with some many things they tried to sneak in there.

DO NOT SPEND ONE PENNY OF YOUR MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE!Weve had our new doors installed now for 17 months. Spent thousands on them (including installation) and the bottoms of the doors are falling apart. They came out and said they will not warranty my doors! They claim that they are exposed to the elements too much and that they wont warranty them. Ive NEVER had any water hit my doors. They claim that even a heavy dew can do that to the doors. HELLO WE LIVE IN TEXAS! ITS HUMID! There is also a pane of glass that is fogged and they wont cover that either. My family (extended included) have been repeat customers of theirs however, the buck stops with this one. WE WILL NEVER GIVE THEM BUSINESS AGAIN. We will NEVER recommend them. A door should last longer than 17months. STAND BEHIND YOUR PRODUCT. My husband owns and operates a business and if his customer service were anything like The Front Door Companys.... Hed be out of business.

Beautiful door but terrible service. Our door was manufactured incorrectly, the replacement was delayed almost 3 weeks beyond the estimated date, then the day of delivery they didnt arrive until almost 3 hours after when they said they would arrive. Never at any point was communication for these issues initiated by the front door co....we had to call them. 10 weeks later the door looks nice. After being told that no compensation would be made, they did send us an email informing us they would refund our delivery fee.

So this review is long but I feel that the details are important here.I first started working with Francisco at the end of April and after much back and forth (which went well) I finally decided to proceed with my purchase of a door and frame, all of which came out to over $2500 (hardware not included since I wanted to save money by buying it on my own). I put down my deposit on May 4th with the understanding that it would be 7-8 weeks to receive and install my door. On May 8th I receive a call from their representative who would like to come take all the measurements within the hour. I just so happened to be in the vicinity so I easily went home to meet up with him. After he left I checked with Francisco on the expected timeframe and he again stated 7-8 weeks.On July 2nd (week 9) I decided to call and get a status since I hadnt heard anything from them since May 8th. Francisco said he would get right back to me. Shortly there after I receive an email from him that the door had just been received, it would be stained by the 25th (of July) and if all looked good, he would call to schedule my install date. No apologies and no explanation. So at this point, I am very upset. July 25th would mean over 11 weeks! And that would just be the date of staining, not the day of installation. Plus at no point since May 8th did I receive a courtesy call to tell me how delayed this would be. It truly felt like they simply forgot about my order.I called and asked to speak to a manager. I proceeded to express my frustration to him about the lengthy wait, no communication, no apology, etc. I explained that the situation felt very much like a bait and switch because if I had known how long the process would actually take, I could have made an informed decision and decided to go with another company. Lance was very understanding and apologetic. He stated that they were just very busy and the delay was in the staining department. However, I have to believe that if they realized they were taking more orders than usual then they would have known the time frame would be more than 7 to 8 weeks and thus, should have informed me. He again apologized and said he might be able to move up the staining by one week (July 18th). After speaking with the staining dept he called back to say that he would move up the date by one week but unfortunately thats all he could do. This did little to make the situation better but I felt defeated at this point since I had waited so long already. I said fine.Sure enough on July 18th Francisco calls to notify me that my door is ready and hed like to schedule my installation date. Feeling less than enthusiastic I tell him I can meet whenever they can. He proceeds to tell me that he doesnt have anything available until July 30th. Feeling ever more disheartened by the situation I tell him I dont care anymore since this has been such a terrible experience and I will just take the appointment on the 30th. He seemed irritated by my response and just said Well I may be able to do Saturday (the 20th). Let me check and get back to you. Again, no apologies. He called back a few minutes later and said they would be there on Saturday the 20th. I said thank you and that was the end of the conversation.The installers showed up on time on Saturday morning and were absolutely awesome. They worked hard and fast and did a phenomenal job. I called Francisco on Monday to pay the remaining balance and it was short and uneventful. Again, no apologies, no questions about my experience, nothing. I paid my full balance and walked away from this company for good.So in conclusion, yes the end product is gorgeous. I am very very happy with my new door and have received compliments from several people who are just passing by. So if you have all the time in the world and are not big on customer service then this is the company for you. If youre wanting more value for your money (in my case $2500) then definitely find another company to work with.

Late, not communicative, they had to come out 5 times to put up barn doors, worst customer experience I have had in quite some time. I wish I would have just not put any doors up at this point. Picture shows the caulking job around the header board, could have been cleaner.
