Well I was in a rush & had to cash my paycheck. The young lady who helped me was very kind, repectful,& quick. I have to say it is Pretty New & Was Extremely Clean. From the quick walk I made through the store it appears to be over priced. That Said: I will be sure to take pictures, & be more clear on the price....maybe Wednesday?If you have the kind of money I had from 25-40...Id shop there just based on how Nice, & Clean the store was. Some things are worth it weight in gold.

Large store, mostly catering to the Hispanic culture, I mainly go for the inside cafe, excellent selection, delicious food

Great Service! (I wrote this review 3 months ago) Today I had a bad moment at Jds, I went to the butcher shop and grabbed a number from the counter, little did i know the number system was not working, and people that got there after me were taken care of first, the butcher just kept asking Whos next? do you really think now a days people are going to say oh he was here before me in my avoidance to argue i just kept letting the people go first, after 15 minutes i was next in service, this is not fair for anybody. Please JDS TAKE CARE OF THE NUMBERING SYSTEM AT THE BUTCHER SHOP.

It has good service and good selection of food. It is kind of expensive. They have a lot of prepared Mexican cuisine food.

The employees were very nice. The store was extremely clean!! Great bakery, produce and meat department. All shelves are stocked and well kept. My over all experience was amazing and not to mention that their prices are better than Fiesta lol there I said it lol!! Will be coming here from now on which is also a lot closer than Fiesta.

Wonderful store to be in had to look twice cause there is sure alot of everything. Liked there fresh meat 🍖 department. Liked their agua frescas. People were right there to greet and were asking if needed help. Was so please to go in for my first time. LOVED IT WILL GO BACK AGAIN!!!

First time being in this store. The first thing I noticed was how clean and organized the store looked, 2nd thing is they have so much variety! It is a very good size of store, parking is great, friendly staff. I will be a regular customer for sure!

Fantastic grocery store. All the produce was fresh and labeled properly. There was lots of choices in products and types of food. The store is kept clean, the staff was super friendly. Surprisingly there was hardly anybody in the store and that needs to change.

This supermarket is very large, clean and well-stocked, but their prices are considerably higher than HEB.

My friend and I bought tamales from this location this morning, Tuesday, October 5th. They were undercooked and soggy, we had to throw them out. Definitely not worth my time or money.

J. Ds. has very good low Prices! They are Lower than H.E. B. s OR WAL-MART! My Ex Father In Law took Me there I thought We were going to be spending a least $100.00for what We had in 2 shopping 🛒 & We spent $40.00! Major Price Difference between J. Ds & Wal-Mart and H E Bs! They are verynice People that work at J. Ds too!

This place is fairly brand new. Its GREAT!!! It carries a combination of hispanic and middle eastern foods. Youll find halal labeled products as well. Fresh produce.bakery.jewelry store. Very pleased.

Im up from San Antonio visiting my ex-wife and stopped in for food and beverages. Was very impressed by the whole store. Clean,easy to locate items and extremely courteous staff.I can see why she likes shopping here.

From the moment you walk in your amazed how well kept in clean this place is Ive been to El Rancho, La Michuacana similar to JDs but lack what JDs have to offer from freshly made Mexican food to produce.

Very good lunch choices, like eating at Moms.

Had two watches repaired. Service was reasonable and timely.

JDs is low-key one of the finest panaderias in town. This location has an ice cream and agua fresca bar that cant be beat. Plus international foods, halal meat and a hot deli with all JDs tacos, burgers, sausage, etc. And the people are SO NICE!

I was really excited about this store opening in this part of town. Unfortunately they have shelves full of expired meat and awful produce. I just bought some expired meat by mistake. It was pretty easy to catch because it smelled so horrible after opening the package and sure enough the sell by date was long past. BEWARE!!!!!Updating my review: Ive been trying to avoid this place but I needed some emergency produce. The produce was better than it has been but the produce scale was so off that I bought twice the amount of produce that I needed. Incorrect scales are completely illegal. Prices on many random items are also significantly higher than HEB, spices, etc. BEWARE!!

Wow, absolutely the cleanest, best stocked Mexican grocery store Ive ever entered ! This place has an awesome selection of Hispanic foods and the pan dulce is the freshest of any in Austin . Highly recommend .

Today I came in to JD’s supermarket to buy some candy dispensers and some Mexican bread. I was very impressed with the customer service from Kimberly Working at register one. The date today is March 17th and it is about 8:45 PM but I think this Employee represented at JD’s supermarket with great customer service. I will definitely be coming back for the same service if it is like this all the time.Thank you Kimberly

The worst horchata and Mamey fresh water that I have ever tried ever, overpriced and the flavor of these waters were awful. The first and the last time buying here.

So grateful they were open, the line moved very quickly the shelves were almost bare and the meat mkt was closed but they were doing a great job under the circumstances 😊

Best community international supermarket! I really enjoy the Gyros there but I fear theres only one man who knows how to make them. Theyre also raffling a truck so go on and check this place out, Im glad I did.

I haven’t had a bad experience yet but I’ve also been mindful that it just opened. Many of the staff are still being trained. Some of their products are low and or missing. And the prices on the majority of their items are missing. With all those things in mind I think they are doing a good job. I know that it will get better as time passes. Give it a few weeks or months and then leave a true review. I’m just happy that there’s a grocery store I. The area to serve the immediate needs of the community.
