Whatever you do dont buy the ghee here. Ive tried different brands twice and both times the ghee smelled old and off. The manager claimed that it was all fine, which didnt help. I said I dont want my money back just inform your distributor. The rest of the items seem to be in line with a normal Indian grocery store

This is pretty much one shop stop Indian grocery store. Well maintained. Employees are helpful. Fresh veggies and meat. They dont have fish though. You can get them in hmart. Overall we like manapasand and would recommend to everyone.

The Royal Basmati had bugs🤮 I hated so bad since I just purchased this bag last week and I just opened it yesterday, I want to surprise my boss since she loves my cooking and surprise the rice comes with a bundle package I rather go to Houston and by my rice there at least I know they wont have bugs cause I buy there for years, this is the second time I buy at Man Pasand and surely it will be the last or at least on the rice 😤🤷🏻‍♀️ Heres pictures and I wish I could upload the video so yall can see the bugs crawling in the rice/bag😞😩

Large size indian grocery where you can get most of the desi things. Have a small restaurant counter inside where you can enjoy desi food while doing grocery shopping. Thing ehich i didnt like is they charging 25cents for a bag compare to free bags in any other stores in texas. Overall first shopping experience was very good.

When Im shopping, I love shopping in a space with less traffic. Manpasand is a big store with less people traffic, and lots of convenient upfront parking to get in, and out.My first visit was very pleasant. I was preparing for the Mahashivatri fest in March, and the items on my list was unfamiliar. A very sweet and patient cashier was so kind to take me throughout the store to find the items on my list. Ive been back every week since March for more of their produce.By the way, they have the best freshest clean Mustard Greens (I grew up on Mustard Greens, and I am so happy they have them here 😋)

A no frills store with A Huge variety of Indian spices and teas large selection of Naans,dosti,roti,sada,flatbread.When you come take your time down each aisle there are many things to discover.I particularly liked the frozen section you can choose a few items and WAA..LAAyou got a complete meal.They also sell GOAT [email protected] lb. one of my favorites.Rice selection was very good too I ordered the12lb Everyday Basmati very good.

Nice grand opening of this location. They have lot of space and are very organized. Staff was friendly too. Not so much likely of a desi stores. Opening day prices are on images shared. I hope they keep thier pricing policies transparent in future too.

One of the biggest indo-pak grocery store in greater Austin area. Little dark and unorganized but over all not too bad. Prices are little higher than other places.

It owned and managed by good Hindustani family, and gentleman was so considerate that he took time to help my mom get the item in smaller quantity from one of the big bag.

Love the variety of international products,specially the spices! and the huge rice selection! Also they just recently upgraded the fresh produce section and looks much neatly and organized, also the girls at the registers are always helpful and polite.

Be careful about the meat market if you order the meat. check the weight before you leave.They are doing a malfunction when they weight the meat. I have experienced yesterday.When I ordered, 6.5 lb of meat, It was showing 5.5 lb after they cut. They told that 1 lb of meat is full of wastage. How could it be ?Also, the weight doe not seems to be 5.5 lb. It seems that the weight is only 3.5-4 lb. They have billed for 6.5 lb. But actually the meat weight might be 3.5 or 4 lb.Full of fraud. Be Aware if you are planning to go and buy the meat at their meat market.

This is the largest Indo Pak supermarket that Ive seen in Southern United States. The selection is broad. The customer service is excellent, which is something I wasnt expecting in this category. Also, its very clean so a felt safe shopping here. They have a reasonably large produce section, also uncommon in these types of stores. But, for the size of the store as a whole, it matches. There is an Indo Pak restaurant at the back of the market but it was unmanned so I was unable to try it.

Rude cashiers.....they feel that they are doing some kind of favor ...no bagging no thanks and worst they all talk to each other.

I went for grocery it is very good . before that i went to café shop take my late lunch Dosa it is freshly make but my Dosa are brunt . washroom are discuss ting and nasty. no routine clean up. Paper all over the floor. Dirty every where, Mirror is not clean. Customer sitting area is some kind of bad odor coming from some where. Table was not clean. sure i go for grocery but not to eat there,. I hope Management should take care that. learn from McDonald pls. Give the manager heads up.

Since Im a customer you cant take advantage of me and you dont let me in unless if you sell me a surgical mask for 3.49 which is overpriced

Great assortment of Indian foods and personal care items. Fresh vegetables at super reasonable prices. They even have a deli but it was closed the day I went.

This is my favorite halal supermarket! I love their large selection of foods and I especially enjoy their prices. I ONLY buy my meat from here because the quality is very great. The customer service is amazing here and after about 2-3 visits you are known well and receive the type of treatment that makes you want to come back time and again. My children love their biscuit (cookie) selections and their produce is always fresh!

I posted a while ago about the South store having less options. This one is huge and they have a meat section too. This has become my go-to store since I started getting eat from them.

Its always enjoyable shopping in Manpasand by I-35. I find whatever I need and price is good then any other Indian grocery. Amazing selections of produce and deshi food. The Lady cashiers are always friendly and seem genuinely happy to help and be there. Great Place

I had paid for rice a few months ago at $9.?? But I paid for the same rice at $14.99 a week ago. An Incredible increase of over 55%. I cant believe with this pandemic some shops over-priced or double the price. Somebody have to do something

This store has an amazing array of food items, Indian style cookware, religious icons and also has a cafe. The cafe is under new ownership & I have only eaten there once so far, but am looking forward to eating my way through their menu!

Lots of selection for indian groceries and fresh produce. And they have great meat selection too.Update : product may not match the description, be careful. Worst of all they wont exchange for right product either.

The India gate food inside manpasand is very expensive and poor quality. The menu price and actual cost was different as well. One Paneer puff costed $3.49 and it tasted half cooked. Same thing happened with punugulu.

Went there a couple of times and returned empty handed as they didnt have the stuff I needed. Anand bazaar and desi bros are better.

Great selection and priced decently but be aware of expired food as they hide expiration date. I have found food item such as Pickle, Masala and other food item that are in package over an year old. Stay away from food that are discounted. Those are definitely expired.

A lot of stuff there well stocked all the time. Finally found some stuff looking for a long time. To have something from home(india) is always a good feeling

Moth larvae in my rice. See Pics postedI have shopped at this and other Man Pasand stores before and overall been satisfied. Unfortunately this past visit resulted in a moth infestation in my kitchen and after a compete pantry clean out was found to be due to moth larvae found in the rice I purchased here. I contacted the store and spoke with an individual by the name of Zeri. Her reply to me after hearing about the moths was a question of when I purchased the rice. When I told her it had been approximately a month and a half her reply was not any empathy or apology, rather simply that she cannot do anything as they have a 14 day return policy. I then asked to speak to a manager only to be told that there was not one in that day. I was asked to leave my name and number and told that I would receive a call the next day-Monday. I not only left my contact information but also asked if I could send a video taken of my opening the bag (was still new-unopened) and clearly showing the infestation. She provided me with their email of [email protected] to which I then sent not one but three separate videos. It is now been 10 days and I have not heard anything. Buyer beware when shopping at this Man Pasand store.

Don’t buy goat meat place from this place. Meat will look good on display. But inside it will be all bone.

Today we brought 1.81 Lbs of Goat meet, when we opened a packet it is full of fat almost 200gm and it very hard to clean up.It was very Bad experience.

This such a cheap store. The prices are high and they proved all expired goods. I brought Sooji and masala oats without checking the expiration. After cooking I understood that the food was expired. I even had worst experience with meat. This is the worst Indian grocery store!

Whenever I visit Austin this is where I get Indian grocery but recently we found bunch of expired food items and brought it to management notice and they told someone to have a look at it but not sure if they totally took it off because the next time we visited, we just found some more expired food items. So, please be sure to check the dates on the products. Also, dont expect anyone to be friendly there. The ladies working at counter are just hard trained machines, they barely even say Hi. Same goes with the meat section, the meat is not fresh. They have outdated meet which turned into grey, or greyish blue and we took it to the guys working there and they start looking to see if there are anymore expired items.

Mostly everything was available. The things which could not find after checking Dallas, Boston and Houston Indian Market are the usual brands like nanak ghee, mustard oil. What I liked was they had precut packaged goat meat available. I would visit again as its the only good Indian market in Austin.

Good place to get all Indian grocery items in one place. We felt, there could be more South Indian grocery items. The vegetable variety could also be improved.

MP becoming very expensive. Also got bad experience after buying daal and other lentils (seems old stock). I do not prefer for shopping now a days. Lagta hai COVID 19 ke reason se huwa ghata wasul karna chahate hai.
