ATX is the best cerakoter in Austin, hands down. Justin and Team are just highly talented, artistic, and creative. They have done over 50 cerakotes for me with absolutely zero issues.Transfer is a breezy, Carmen is very nice and handles all the paperwork flawlessly, I can’t say more good things about her.Go with ATX armory, you’ll not be disappointed.

Dropped off a Brand new Shield plus and a brand new set of Truglos 4/10 in the package to be installed. I asked specifically if a sight pusher would be utilized and I was told yes. I received the weapon and at a glance it looked good, once I got it home and inspected closer, it looks as if the sights were beat on with a hammer damaging both the front and rear sight housing .The weapon shoots accurately but I’m disappointed that brand new sights were damaged. If it was an issue of not having the correct equipment I’d have much rather been told they couldn’t be installed and went elsewhere. Wasted over a 100 on sights now that can’t be warrantied due to how they were installed plus the install and I will have to have them removed . My factory sights were also damaged by them during removal. Do not recommend at all very disappointed.

I took my gen 3 Glock 23 to ATX Armory And I was sadly very disappointed. Not only did they not cut my slide the way we discussed it in detail but they didnt provide a CNC slide cover in case I wanted to remove the my RMR. I think their work is mediocre at best and they dont have the CNC machines that are really needed to make the best slide cuts. They also lost the custom tool that came with the RMR that I provided. I will never go back to ATX Armory again!!Kent K. AusTex

I ordered a upper receiver from them yesterday thru phone but the havent given any tracking number. Tried calling a couple times but they never answered.

Okay so it took me a bit to write a review, wasn’t their fault, I was waiting for my stamp to process. Carmen has been awesome every time I would visit. Got my Glock 17 cerakoted after the Burris Fastfire was cut and installed. Turn around time was good, ended up having to delete my rear sight because the Fastfire was bigger than an RMR. Carmen quickly told me what was going to happen over the phone and if I was okay with it. Communication is awesome and totally looking forward to ordering my suppressors through them, thank y’all so much!

If you’re not using this place you are missing out. Friendly knowledgeable staff and they do awesome work. I had them swap some parts and cerakote my AR and I came away extremely pleased. My 9mm is next on the project list.

Absolutely love this place. They have everything you need... from customizing, to making guns work properly, to restoring. Pretty much a one stop shop & their staff are very friendly.

Carmen and her little sister Rosie (spelling) are wonderful. Ive bought a lower from them and I had an issue with one of my springs and roll pins. I brought it and they looked at it. Rosie instantly realize that it was the wrong spring. Carmen looked at one of my gas blocks and the milling was not correct and I had to send it back to the vendor. They are a wonderful armory and do custom builds. Ill be using them as my FFL going forward.

I am continually impressed at their work, they have customized 4 rifles for me and I will keep bringing back work for them because they are awesome.

I had a gun shipped to them. They charge less than academy and cabella’s and were much faster. They are very friendly and were great to work with! While I waited I checked out the stuff they have. I will use them for mods and customization for my guns.

The guys at ATX Armory put together a one of a kind 300 blackout build for me. I could not be any happier with the gun and helpful staff at ATX. Going to come back to get a .308 built real soon. Keep it up guys!

I originally located ATX Armory after calling around Austin for a Cerakote job on an upper receiver. The other local places I called were either way too high on price or just acted like “their stuff didn’t stink” and I could take it or leave it. So, a call to ATX Armory and away I went. I initially spoke to Justin and was very impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and great customer service, let alone the best price out of everyone I called.After receiving my first Cerakote piece from ATX Armory, and seeing the amazing attention to detail, I decided to return for more work. The quality of work is just simply...outstanding.I’ve since spoken to Don, the General Manager, and learned about all of the services that ATX Armory offers. Don, just like Justin, is very professional, knowledgeable and unlike other local shops...makes you feel welcome.A quick look around their shop will prove that this place knows their custom firearms, from accessories to parts to completely built rifles. Waited awhile to do this review because of how weird the experience was (went there back in May). These guys were super nice the first time I went in. I picked up a castle nut and they actually let me borrow a vice-block for the weekend to do a build! When I went to return the vice block, I opened the door and no one was in the show room. I called out hello and was suddenly faced with an older gentleman coming around the corner, towards me, at high speed with one hand out in a defensive position and his other hand clearly gripping down on his CCW under his shirt. I yelled at him Hey, im returning a tool! His face changed and he muttered some excuse for his behavior about thinking he had locked the door. Thankful we both didnt draw down on each other and both got to go home that day. SUPER STRANGE. Wanted to love this place and keep doing business, not super into almost getting into a gun fight when I walk into a place of business... Ill be more patient and order my castle nuts offline from here out.

Had some Cerakote work done recently and I was thoroughly pleased with the quality of the work, and I was equally impressed with the customer service. Super-friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend them for any Cerakote or other firearm custom CNC millwork you might be thinking of doing.

ATX Armory is very trustworthy, the prices are the best, the products are top-tier, and his cerakote jobs are high quality. What is not to love about building your own rifle and getting an awesome paint job on it for a price that still beats your typical AR at the average gun store. Justin is very knowledgeable and one of the few gun store employees whose insight I actually listen to. Its why hes currently doing a 458 SOCOM build and cerakote for me.

Ive seen ATX Armory grow since its grand opening just a few months ago. Excellent inventory, great prices, top of the line Cerakoting work and excellent customer service are the ATX trademarks.
