New to the neighborhood and my 1st time in...and last. After handing me a generic mask, that I put on no questions asked, I asked for a sample of a flavor called lavender caramel. Most of their flavors are unique and I havent had any of them before. I didnt know if I wanted a full cup of this or another random flavor. They then informed me they dont do samples...because of covid?? Did they used to double dip the spoons or something? Complete waste of good real estate. I will go to the place that takes this spot when they eventually go out of business for running off customers...while they are empty. Save your money and time and go anywhere else. You can buy Ben and Jerrys next door at the convenient store.

Gati is my favorite little vegan icecream shop! I may be be biased because I live around the corner :) The owners are kind and staff are great. Only downside is things are a little pricey, but you pay for the vibe and deliciousness. A vegan treat for Austin, ask them if you want a flavor that’s less coconut-ey

A beautiful and welcoming building, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The ice cream is really good and I’m always wanting more! The pastries look delicious, but I have not tried these, just yet. I will be back to purchase the pint size servings, to take home.

I cant say enough nice things about the folks at Gati. They are top-notch bakers and ice cream makers, they are SO kind and responsive, and they saved our butts after we begged them to do the dessert catering at our gluten-free wedding. We were already Gati fans, but they have a special place in our hearts now. ALL of our guests raved about how good our cake was and were in disbelief that it was GF.

It’s tough for my 6 year old to see her siblings enjoy ice cream and deserts which she cannot have. Gati’s provided a great alternative in flavors that my daughter loved (which Is also hard to do). She loved the peach ice cream and don’t forget to try the cinnamon roll!

My girlfriend and I stopped for a desert after Sunday brunch. The selection of gluten-free, dairy free and vegan desserts is delightful. I enjoyed the blueberry coconut milk ice cream, and she loved an affogato with coconut ice cream. We got an oatmeal cream pie to go and I guarantee well be back again.

I have loved their ice cream for years at Thai Fresh on Mary Street. So thrilled to take the fam to the new spot. Nice patio. Very friendly staff. A little disappointed its not completely vegan. A few baked goods have dairy or eggs in them. But other than that, Gati is a wonderful spot.

Incredible! Their icecream has no fillers or weird gums or unpronounceable ingredients. Just coconut milk, sugar, and what ever the flavor is. Absolutely delicious and refreshing. Plus they have house made gf vegan waffle cones!! Lots of delicious looking gluten free / vegan baked goods. Ice cream can be served on a brownie, cookie, or hot dog sundae. They also sell slices of ice cream cake! Found my new favorite spot for treats.

Awesome ice cream spot to get non-diary options, truly refreshing and some unique flavors too. The gold milk flavor has a very nice hint of Tumeric, the float with pineapple soda is also very good.

I feel the flavours I tasted was muted and all had a strong taste of coconut - that made them all very alike. Also its rather expensive ice cream. But I love that a place like this exists and that it caters vegans to ice cream and cakes that otherwise be difficult to get ahold of.

It really was tasty, but the condescending attitude of the server was a little much. I understand it is Austin, and people probably think differently than me, but when I offer a tip and am told that I dont need it because Im paid a living wage well I wont be buying anymore. The huge Doorknob was funny though.

Such an adorable little ice cream shop! I got the Coconut Ash with activated charcoal. My partner got the Affogato with Thai coffee. Both were so good! They currently arent providing samples due to covid, but all the ice cream flavors my friends and I got were delicious. This shop is worth checking out for any occasion!

I live nearby and I’m afraid I’ll be here every day until the end of time. Delicious, unique flavors; vegan baked goods. HEAVEN. Only issue I have is flies and mosquitoes on the patio, but it’s not a big enough issue to take away from the amazing ice cream and sweets.

I had the mint chip and lavender caramel flavors in a cone. Love them both and they are not too sweet for me, which is the best thing I can ask for. I was not even aware of that it’s a vegan ice cream shop until I finished my ice cream and read reviews here!

So yummy! Almost all foods are free of common allergens, which is so hard to find. Love the decor too, very postmodern and fresh.

Went there and asked to try a single flavor and was told they don’t do that, even though I was there a couple weeks ago and got one. Was told the reason they don’t give samples is because they don’t want people in the store without face masks on, so I asked how people are going to eat it. They ignored the question and they told me that oh they don’t use disposable products. But they hand out their ice cream in disposable cups. So my friend decided to just buy a cup of their cucumber mint and it tasted just awful. I’ve never been so disappointed at an ice cream shop of all places.

This place is a joke! They hired me, told me that theyd be reaching out to schedule my training as soon as possible, and then decided to hire one of their employees friends- after I turned down 2 amazing job offers. Be warned- they are not professional or trustworthy.

These people know their stuff!! In particular Andrew! He was so knowledgeable about how everything is made and what goes best together! We both had two flavors of ice cream in a waffle cone and all of it was delicious! Then we brought home a vegan brownie and gluten free cheese ball puff thing. You would never know it was vegan or gluten free! Both were melt in your mouth amazeballs!!! Very cute and clean while being covid safe! They only let 4 people inside at a time and have plenty of tables to sit out while being socially distanced! Highly recommend. You can tell they take pride in their products!

Delicious and very safe during Covid

This was the perfect pitstop on a hot summer day. I love the fact that their ice cream and cones are vegan, gluten and dairy free. I had their ginger peach flavor and my sister tried the golden milk. Absolutely delicious and you can tell that its made with real ingredients! There were two tables and seats near the truck otherwise not much seating. Pricing was a bit on the higher side, I spent almost $13 for 2 cones 1 flavor but i guess thats expected for quality ingredients. The owner also mentioned a brick and mortar was coming soon, so thats something exciting to look forward to.

Was walking back from the river and dropped by the truck on a hot day. The matcha was sweetened but was nice with a coconut aftertaste. The chocolate was a nice milk chocolate without as strong a coconut aftertaste. A great find on a hot day.

Best vegan ice cream in the city, hands down. Theres always something interesting to try (tonight I had Pandan). I cant recommend this place enough. Be sure you try the cookie monster if theyre not out.

Was driving by and stopped in. Had a cup of the chocolate and it was amazing. The coconut flavor is there as well as the chocolate making it taste like an Almond Joy candy.
