Restroom was pretty gross and I felt rushed to order also they were rushing us and wanted us to pay when we weren’t ready, never coming again .

This was my first time going and the ice cream was really good and fresh. I got to try different flavors and I ended up ordering double dark chocolate and peanut butter with a waffle cone dipped in chocolate with heath bar crust and it was just as good as it sounds. The place was clean the guy working there I didnt get his name was cool and helpful I was told by him that the ice cream and waffle cones get made there. I had a good experience overall the prices are reasonable and another thing I liked was I didnt get charged extra for toppings so I will go back there when Im back in town.

Honestly this was a lacking experience. I can go to any grocery store buy ice cream and have a better experience. The service was slow, the selection was just ok. People come for the experience and service. What it feels like going here: a very dull sleepy place with no interesting draw. Either lower the prices to match the lackluster experience or wake up

Cookie Jar Chaos Cake... Very disappointed. Ours only had one cake layer and it was missing the chocolate chip cookie toppings. So the picture on the website is misleading.Also our ice cream did not have any cookie dough in it. What a rip off. I could have and should have made my own. Waist of money and calories.

Weve come here fairly often before but it seems like quality gets worse each visit and today is our last. Ice cream was melting before we could even sit down. Waffle bowl was stale/soggy and looked mold colored on one tiny part near the top. Guy behind the counter had loose hair (like the kind you find balled up in the bathroom corner) hanging from the end of his hat he was wearing. He also didnt sanitize hands or utensils between customers/credit cards/cash. The amount of mix ins in each of our ice creams was miniscule. I know, first world problems. We would have gotten a better deal and better ice cream down the road at DQ.

Wait was long...... ice cream too soft for my liking though. Good location although GPS had my sister all over the place....lol. I dont remember seeing access for handicap. Only one restroom for women and men. They have a variety of flavors with different toppings to go on top of ice cream. You can get a cone or cup (waffle cone available)

I was waiting for my phone to get fixed and saw this place while I was sitting in my car. I decided to try them out I got their cheesecake ice cream I didnt get any mix ins I wasnt feeling it but they had a lot to offer from what I was. There were 2 guys inside they greeted me and the taller guy helped me he was pretty nice and helped me figure out how to work the tip option. The ice cream was the bomb.com smooth ans sweet but not overly sweet I will most definitely bring my kids here in the summer. Thanks for the yummy snack!! 😁

Good homemade ice cream but it’s a little bit on the pricy side and the cones are stale. I hope the cones are replaced more often, like I mean it’s like taking a bite of a piece of my grandmas wet pajamas, honestly the cones are what brings it down to a 3 star, it’s like they aren’t replaced until they run out.

Seems to of gone downhill dramatically. Somehow related to COVID you are not allowed samples (not like it was self served nor spoons reused....so whats the difference between handing spoon and spooning into sample cup). When asked about a new flavor tasted like since samples couldnt be provided it was unknown. Mixture of flavors does not exist it is spooned into cup and handed over. To add toppings it was questioned by server in a surprised manor. Hygiene is questionable since I saw the person drop something and heard a clink for him to bend over and then continue by rinsing spoon in water they use.....what was that clink sound then. Whole experience stunk and have no plans on wanting to go back now after watching the shine/sparkle of a marble slab dull and die out.

Disappointed. We ordered 2 small ice creams, both with plain waffle cones, at $4.99 each. The cashier said the total was $12.95. When I asked why, as the total should be $9.98 plus tax, she said the waffle cones are $.99 each. The menu clearly states the price includes a free plain waffle cone (additional charges are stated for dipped cones or waffle bowls). The cashier agreed and told me she took the cone charges off. I paid with Apple Pay. I even tipped the cashier, thankful she removed the extra charges. However, when I got home, I saw the charge was still $12.95. In my opinion, they overcharge you and hope you don’t notice, and they are not an honest business.

I moved to Austin, TX. We visited this store 5 times ice cream was so great and the shakes as well. But, I am giving very less rating because the staff today closed the store at 7:30 pm when we are entering the store they saw us and closed. And this happened before when we visited the store at 8 pm they told milkshakes machine (shaker) was not working. This is very pathetic. If you don’t want to run the store please close permanently.

They are cheap on the amount of ice cream they give you, the toppings are not fresh they all look old and tasted rancid. I have this place the benefit of the doubt and went back a 2nd time it was worse. Don’t go there it’s not to par with what the franchise ethics.

Ordered a custom cake for my daughters 18th birthday. Was told I had to wait 48 hours to pick it up when I placed the order. Fine. Whatever it takes to get what she wants. Athough I ordered it at 3 on Wednesday, they told me I couldnt pick it up until 3 pm on Saturday. My son goes to pick it up at exactly the time required only to discover it was sold to a customer on Friday! Tried to give her something special, but ended up having to pick something out that was readily available -- none of which included Strawberry which was her ONLY request. They did offer up a free ice cream for the whole ordeal... Needless to say VERY disappointed!

Everyone said that marble slab was as good as cold stone so i was excited to try it. The other night, we decided to go for my first time, when i walked in the worker ( an older gentleman) was crushing up candy or something in a bowel with his bare hands... that’s disgusting in general but during a pandemic???? Do better. It would be different if the items were cooked to kill germs but this is an ice cream shop. Next the bathroom was disgusting. & Just when i thought it couldn’t get worse when i got my ice cream it had the workers hair in it. & No i’m not kidding!!!!

Nice, friendly staff. Right before I placed my order, there was a woman that had gotten the incorrect shake trying to get a replacement. I watched them handle the situation very professionally. When it was my turn, they were careful to ask questions if they werent sure about something and always smiling, super sweet, and giving it their best. Oh, and the ice cream was good too.

I had originally given this a great review. Unfortunately when I went back, I happened to see the manager or owner yelling at his employee. That doesnt need to happen with customers in the store. The ice cream shop had great service the first time. You can order ice cream from up to four different size cups or in a cone. They have a wide selection of ice cream and mix-ins too. They give you free samples of ice cream if youre interested in tasting them. The service was great from the guy Tannen.

We ordered a custom cake for a kids birthday party. The cake was a special order designed by a just turning 7 year old. To put it into perspective, when we were confirming the order over the phone they kept asking if each choice was really what we wanted. The cake toppings, colors, and flavors were so mismatched that the staff wanted to be sure we knew how sweet and rich it was going to be. They werent trying to talk us out of anything, they just wanted to make sure we understood that these flavors werent what most people would expect to go together. In the end the cake was exactly what we ordered and all the kids loved it. The cake was a big hit with its intended audience, but probably not their parents after they picked their sugar loaded kids bouncing off the walls.

I like that mix-ins are included in the price, but $18 for two cones??? Sorry, but the ice cream isnt THAT good.

Milkshake was amazing the employee did a 10/10 job; however, the manager was rude to his excellent employee. The manager was almost making fun of his employee and also kept nagging us to get a job there. This would be a 5 star review but the manger brings the grade down.

Ruined my sons 13th birthday!

If you want real homemade and delicious ice cream, you come here. I worked at a marble slab 17 years ago and this guy does everything homemade and the original way. The same cannot be said at Amys ice cream. I also had a birthday cake made for my daughter at this location and it was delicious. It was just as we ordered. The manager or owner was professional and very polite. We will be back!

It would help if you updated your hours online so people dont come 2 hours before you open...Its 1-9pm M-F, 12-9pm SAT, & 1-9pm SUN...

I love that nothing really changes. I can order the same thing I ordered 15 years ago. I also want to say that the young lady that was working was amazing to everyone who cane in while we were there.

Good ice cream, great ice cream. Slow service and slow people at work. If you have patience and could wait 30 minutes for ice cream, go for it. Make sure there are a minimum of 2 people working otherwise it could take a full 45 minutes to an hour.

Ice cream is always good but inconsistent portions. Some of the employees hired don’t like to work or something and get inconsistent when making multiple orders usually kids straight out of high school. But worst thing is the manager. He’s rude and doesn’t like to do his job. Asked for my toppings to get mixed in and he folded it in twice and that was it. Also tried having a conversation with him and got ignored. Don’t get me wrong the ice cream is probably the best I’ve ever had but the service is poo 9 times out of 10.

I have to thank the owner of this location. I had decided I wanted an Ice Cream cake for My Birthday the day before my party and found the Groupon for Marble Slab. I called only to find out that 48 hours notice was needed for the cake to be ready. However the owner called me back minutes later and said that he could have it ready for my party the next day. Now that is great customer service! Thank you.

Bought 2 ice creams in cups, one with waffle and one without. Asked to go, employee working packed the one without waffle horribly that it was leaking ice cream all my ride. And the one with waffle, she refused to cover it with cap, stating it won’t fit. Break those waffles and just put it on... didnt give paper bag as well to put the ice creams, not like other marble slabs.

Walked in and walked out. Customer service is everything.Girl just stood there. Didnt greet. No, Hi how are you? what would you like? just stood there....other than that I had them once. icecream was good.

I bought a deal from Living Social, which is what brought me to this location. I went in to pickup a dozen ice cream cup cakes, only to experience horrible customer service. I was shown where the cupcakes were in the freezer. There were 4 different flavors, all of which had whip cream, sprinkles, & nuts. I asked if there were other options and the employee said no. I asked if they were going to be making the holiday ones as shown on the internet. To which the employee replied, Whenever he tells me to make them. I asked who he was, and she stated the boss. I asked if they take custom orders and that I could pick them up the next day. She replied, Only if he says its okay. At this point, I gave up. So, as I am selecting the cupcakes, the employee begins to speak to my kids. I was baffled when I heard her ask my kids, So, are you step brothers? What kind of question is that, and who asks that? Ill just say this, I hope HE reads this and understands that some changes should be made in the way his store is run.

I know its a milk shake but yall really need to work on your ratios cause I just paid like 9 $ for a milk . Until this is resolved enjoy your lonestar awoo

I came into this location because of a groupon and Ill never do it again. The cake was frost bitten and did not taste good. Everyone at work said it tasted like ice and not ice cream.The guy at the store even charged an extra 10 bucks for a large because the 6 in werent appealing.He said that all ice creams were like that because people cant make up their mind and then the cakes get condensation which caused the ice.I would not recommend this store or their products.

Came in to get my friend some ice cream for her birthday. The ice cream was great but the workers were extremely rude. They were trying to close 50 minutes before the actual store closing and were extremely rude about doing their jobs. When a customer called to check if they were still open the worker rolled her eyes and complained about more people coming. All in all made for a very unfortunate experience.

Horrible customer service. Was refused service with a groupon (they claimed it had a start date, when it CLEARLY did not, and groupon confirmed this). I called to clear it up with the manager the next day and suggested I receive the larger cake option since I was wrongfully refused yesterday and then eventually hung up on. Luckily groupon has wonderful customer service and refunded me. This location should not be allowed to have groupons in the future. I have been here in the past, but after this service will never return.
