For vegans and non-vegans alike… you NEED to visit this shop! This is my favorite ice cream in Austin, hands down.I’m so happy the indoor dining is open again. It has a great atmosphere, multiple flavor options, and the staff is friendly. Consistently delicious.Their online ordering system was seamless during the pandemic; they keep the ice cream in a cooler outside and I never had a bad experience picking it up. It was super cool to still be able to go on ice cream runs during such a hard year. Thank you, NadaMoo!

Dont order online and try to get any ice cream shipped.Wish I could say the ice cream was good, but I wouldnt know, I never received my order. We ordered ice cream to be shipped for a virtual event we were holding. Morning of our event, still no ice cream. When we contacted them they said they had run out of dry ice the week before and couldnt ship it. Youd think when a customer spends hundreds of dollars you could at least notify them that youre not going to ship an order. They apologized and promised they could ship it that day. A week later, and still nothing.

Awesome, delicious! Cant believe its dairy-free. Fun place for a family outing, date night or come hang out with friends. Excellent choices of ice creams and cones made with coconut milk and natural ingredients. They even offer milkshakes and cold brew coffee. So refreshing and a nice alternative to the usual ice cream spots. Parking lot is small so park carefully. The other drivers were very considerate so that was nice. Awesome experience and well be back. What we tried: Cookies & Cream, Rockiest Road in Red Velvet cone; Cookie Dough Fudge & Vanilla in a cup; Sprinkles on the side. So worth it! Tasty, fun and special!

UPDATE: gave it another shot. Out of ice cream cones. Left wondering why a manager wouldnt remedy this. Thinking I could just go to H-E-B for the experience of scooping my own ice cream into a cup. Still disappointing and probably wont return for a third time.ORIGINAL: Disappointing... expensive and long wait for two of the same shakes and scoops. I’m used to supporting vegan businesses and happily pay extra but it took such a long time to receive the order, never received the text acknowledgment that it was ready so ice cream was melted. Confused that my two scoop order was single scoops in two cups... Much better experience up at Sweet Ritual.

This place was incredible! its very hard to believe that this, all vegan, non-dairy ice cream is not authentic dairy ice cream. There are flavors such as blueberry lavender, lemonade raspberry, rocky road, and vanilla rose. I absolutely love NadaMoo! I am dairy free and took some friends to try the milkshakes in Austin (we love the pint ice cream). I will say, I was a little disappointed. The milkshakes are very small for being $12 and Id give the milkshake itself a 8 out of 10 taste wise. It was good, but for $12 I feel like it should be GREAT! Also, the straws seemed cheap and didnt work well with the lids the cups came with. The lid was squeezing the straw, blocking the milkshake.Overall, my friends and I expected more.

To all the people who have been cursed with lactose intolerance, its time to rejoice because the coconut ice cream as NadaMoo! is creamy, not grainy and SO delicious!Nothing but amazing things to say about this place! First off, super excited to see NadaMoo! open their own ice cream shop and even better, its right up the street from my house! Additionally, the people they hire to work there, are always such a delight to interact with (especially when Im a bit indecisive because all of the new flavors sound so good!)This shop makes some flavors in-house so youll see flavors here that you havent seen in your supermarkets frozen section!I love how creative the crew gets with their flavors. For example, the scoops I had last night were Vanilla Rose, Lavender Blueberry and Raspberry Lemonade Pie. They also have typical flavors in case you dont want to get too adventurous, but Id recommend at least going out of your comfort zone and try a tiny spoon of something crazy!Additionally, they house pastries from my favorite vegan bakery in Austin, Capital City Bakery! I have no idea what this place was like pre-Covid, but as of right now it is a terrible experience. First of all, you cant walk in the store; understandable. However, this forces you to use their online interface, which is missing half of their menu (certainly no cones, which is all I actually wanted).Additionally, the whole thing felt so low effort. Even though nobody was in line before me, the online order forced me to wait 15 minutes. I could see them waiting around and doing nothing through the windows and only start working when the deadline was approaching. The ice cream we got was served in 8-ounce water cups. Needless to say, water cups are not the best way of delivering ice cream. I ordered 4 scoops of ice cream, which ended up being 4 half-scoops pressed together to fit in a tiny cup (theres no way they could fit 4 full scoops in there). Since those 4 scoops were for 2 people with 2 different tastes, having everything mushed together was a big disappointment. The float I ordered was also a big disappointment. $6 for the same 8-ounce cup; I was sure it was going to be a large for that price. Of course, if there was an actual person to talk to, all of this couldve been resolved, but there is no contact and apparently no transparency/accountability.If youre desperate for vegan ice cream, go to the store and buy a pint (their ice cream tastes no better than the ones you buy in the store anyways). Youll have a far better experience for half the money. Otherwise, try one of the many other shops in Austin that created a competent Covid response, and put love into their ice cream to set it apart.

I have never been here before and was pleased to find out this place was litterally right down the road from my house. I tried using the link on the banner to order but it did not work. I decided to call in and the girl who answered was polite. I placed my order, but they are contactless so I was not sure how the order would come to me. I waited and then the girl dropped a bag in the cooler in front. I was thinking it was mine but wasnt sure so I walked up to the door and saw another worker with red hair sitting with her feet on the table. I motioned to her to ask whether I was supposed to open the cooler or recieve a text or what. She saw me and just walked into the back room so I called and I know both of them were in there and they both ignored my phone call. I felt a little disrespected and felt that was unprofessional. I went ahead and looked in the cooler and it was mine, but you cant assume that everyone is a regular, and you cant treat customers that way. Totally unacceptable. Besides that I think Ill enjoy the ice cream and be back.Update: They didnt even put a spoon in there. WOW. Down to 3 stars now.
