What a great crystal shopping experience. A lot of interesting unique finds, the kind you only read about in the crystal books. Had to take a moment to calm down and not get over excited… happened a few times. Might not be your place if you’re looking for lots of jewelry or trinket-ey type stuff. Just rocks and crystals here, for the most part. Lots of brass singing bowls, too. Probably more stuff in reality but didn’t have enough time. Would take quite a bit of time to browse all of it in detail in one go… which is how I like my crystal shops. Great selection, not just the common stuff. All intimately curated by owner who is available to answer any and all questions, from where he bought them to country of origin to composite mineral formation. Very fair to what-a-steal prices. Honest knowledgeable rock-loving energy from owner. Wish I had shopped here first before buying some things online from other places.

Finally made the trip from Oklahoma down to check out Shiny Things, and man was I impressed. The selection exceeded my imagination. From cabochons and rough minerals to showroom quality Amethyst geodes and labradorite chunks! But rocks and minerals werent the only things offered, they also carried both crystal and brass singing bowls, a variety of incense, scarves, tapestries, and so much more you could spend hours looking around and still discover new things! If youre in Austin and looking for something shiny make your way over to Shiny Things and browse their selection. Youll be glad you did.

I came to the shops with my family and we ended up seeing a lot of different rocks and crystals. I ended up getting a few of them and they are amazing. There are a lot of different things you could get and all of them look awesome.

Definitely worth navigating around construction for! Jermey has a super chill vibe and is very informative. The shop itself is very stocked and easy to move around through! If you leave and have no idea what you got, send him a picture on Facebook and he’ll tell you. He is careful to package your items. I’ll definitely be visiting again.

This is a great little shop with very reasonable prices. Jeremy is super sweet and passionate about the stones- he’ll chat with you and explain every crystal. I found some treasures here, brought a friend and she found an awesome piece of moldavite that he hand-wrapped with silver wire for her to wear on a necklace! Wonderful experience, definitely check it out if you love crystals.
