These guys are very helpful and always make time when I have a big ride coming up. I dropped off my tire Thursday afternoon and then my bike Friday, late morning. They got me all fixed up for a great price and I had the best ride ever the next day. I will definitely recommend and absolutely return.

I decided to come to Milestone after attending one of their events about two years back. Richard did a slight favor on my old R6, so I decided to bring my new Indian Scout over for the 500-mile service. They know what theyre doing, and theyre all very knowledgeable. I appreciate their honesty and integrity. I stopped by today for some help with my new slip-ons, and again, Richard was very honest and took his time to educate me. Overall, my experiences have been great here. They genuinely care for you and your bike. Theyre good people. I highly recommend you taking your bike here. Also, theyre at their new location, which is right down the street from the original one.

Its very clear these guys are very knowledgable and know what they are doing. Their services are extremely well priced. They are honest and dont try to push extra stuff on you. I will continue to use them for all my motorcycle repair needs.

I wound up at Milestone after the local big shop told me they didnt have time to service my bike and while that was a hassle, Im glad they did. Milestone took good care of me, shot me straight on what my problem was and took care of it right as I arrived. The price was very reasonable. Ill definitely be back for future service.

Just want to call out how great I think Milestone motorcycles is! They are honest, fairly priced, and provide very fast turnaround on projects.I first started going to Milestone to have my tires changed out. I would just bring my rims and they have always been super quick to change my tires and balance for a very reasonable charge compared to other shops that would refuse to put on tires unless I bought from them.Ive also brought them the forks from one of my bikes with blown fork seals and not only was their quote HALF of what RideNow quoted, there was less than a 24 hour turnaround while RideNow quoted several days. The work they did was excellent and Ive had no problems since then.My most recent experience involved scheduling an appointment to have my spark plugs replaced at my request due to what I assumed was fouled plugs. But the guys at Milestone went above and beyond to do some testing and discovered a strange problem where my battery had been shorting out with an aftermarket seat - I never wouldve guessed! Anyways, they proactively found the root cause of the problem and only charged me $50 for their time, saving me lots of money in parts/service for something that didnt need to be done.Im so impressed and appreciative of the honest mechanics, excellent work, and wonderful customer service this shop has provided me I cant recommend these guys enough! The crew here is highly knowledgeable, super helpful, and need a theme song. I love that they will squeeze you in for quick repairs (toe peg, here), oil changes, tires, and inspections while you wait. Im glad these cats are staying busy and I highly recommend them. Good location in N Austin on the Burnet (learn it, durn it!) Corridor near a bunch of other restaurants and shops, so if you do need to take a walk, there is something to entertain. High fives to them!

Tim and Richard are amazing. They’ve fixed every issue I’ve had while also EXPLAINING what it is they have done.I’ve brought in bikes a few times with no idea what was wrong with them. Tim and Richard have fixed the issue while also helping me understand what the issue was in case it ever happens again on a different bike. Just by going to them, I’ve expanded my understanding of how motorcycles work and improved my own basic mechanic competency.The old adage goes “If you give a man a fish, he’ll eat for a day. If you teach a man to fish, he’ll eat for a lifetime.” Tim and Richard seem more concerned with handing out fishing rods, instead of just handing out fish.

One if the best bike shops in town. Richard tells it to you how it is and wont have your bike sitting around unnecessarily like another shop I know in Pflugerville. The prices are beyond fair and turn around time fast. Definitely check it out if you are into great service.

Called in the morning, brought my scooter in at noon, was ready for me within 2 hours! Wanted to get my scooter checked out with some minor repairs and battery replacement so I can sell it. Very professional, seamless, and quick turnaround. Hoping to upgrade to a motorcycle, and when I do and need maintenance or repairs, Im bringing it here!

They get the job done pretty quickly, for reasonable prices. The paperwork is very vague. You have to ask very specifically to know what a service includes. For just a oilchange and inspection, good place to go. But if you really want your bike checked and tuned, could use a more caring shop.

My visit here was excellent. Didnt try to upsell me on anything, gave good honest advice and was overall very friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff ... great service ... scheduled my appointment day before having a couple of fresh Dunlops mounted ... arrived early and asked if I could add a state safety inspection ... no problem. Job done and was on my way in less than 40 minutes ... a great experience! Ill be back to see Tim and Richard next I have need for any of my non-manufacturer, non-scheduled warranty maintenance requirements with confidence! Their service is fantastic and they were very friendly. All my friends recommended them to me for service when I needed help with my front fork suspension. They understood the motorcycle was my main transportation and they had it ready for me to go to work the next day. Even though they were fully booked with services. They also adjusted my clutch cable and put lubricant on it and it drives way smoother now. Id highly recommend them. Thanks guys:)

These guys are FANTASTIC to work with. The changed two tires for me. Once I just brought in the tire, once they changed it on the bike. But both times these guy were just super cool and fast.

Tim and his team definitely know older motorcycles. They have earned a customer for life. Absolutely hands down better customer service and quality repairs for a very reasonable price.They do have a bit of trouble getting in parts which causes minor delays in getting your bike back but that’s no fault of their own. When the delivery service says they’ll deliver and then pushes the delivery date, which has happen twice now to me alone, you can’t very well fault them for not being able to finish a service. I certainly don’t fault them for it.When they say they’ll have a bike ready at a certain time they very well mean it and commit to having it done by the time they say it’ll be done. Spot on every time & above expectations!Will definitely continue to come back.

My experience with milestone was far better than anywhere Ive been before. Tim and Richard are super honest do quality work, and give great customer service. If I lived in Austin I would always bring my bikes to them, they even have a nice shop dog to pet while you wait.

I recently found a great deal on a used Yamaha VStar 950 that I immediately purchased from a private seller. I knew all the warnings about purchasing used, but aside from a heavily worn front tire, the bike looked to be in near perfect condition at just over 32K miles. Not knowing the full history of the bike, I took it to Milestone to get a new buyers inspection. They are conveniently located for me. I was immediately informed that my bike was due for its 32K mile maintenance, which had not been done. I confirmed with the seller. Miles and his crew were very friendly, knowledgeable and were able to work with my schedule. After only a few days, they had gone through a laundry list of checks and adjustments. When I arrived to pick up the bike, I was charged a very fair price, and given some advice about some of the known issues regarding this particular model. The guys were great to chat with, even on the hottest day of the year. I left the shop knowing I could ride with peace of mind. Since then, Ive put a couple hundred miles on the bike, and its running great. Ill be back again.

Great staff and fair prices, every time Ive taken my bike here for any reason its immediate service. Gotten oil changes, a new chain, a new battery and new brake pads here. If they dont have the parts in stock you need theyll order them for you most of the time

The guys at Milestone are straight-forward and very competent. My 21 yr old bike runs as good as it did when I got it in 1999 because of the service and tune-ups done at this shop.

Needed an old tire changed and one shop wasnt able to do it. Came here and they were able to help me out. Met the new owners (just acquired the shop in July) and they are very nice and friendly. I highly recommend them if you even need any maintenance done that youre not able/wanting to do yourself. Down to earth people, Ill be back for sure.

I cant say enough good things about Richard and Tim at Milestone. They are a couple of honest dudes who just love to work on bikes. They put a new tire on my bike before and after a big trip without an appointment or anything. They are dedicated to building a motorcycle community within Austin, and thats what its all about. They are very reasonably priced and Tim is a master mechanic. Richard is incredibly approachable and if you have any issues I urge you to talk it out with him, he will hook you up. Everyone go there! Also dont be afraid of a long wait because of all the bikes out front, if you have a quick job they will get to you fast.

I can only and only recommend this shop. I did roadtrip across US with my motorcycle and as I got into Texas, my front wheel started shaking and it was very annoying. I stopped by any chance at this shop and they take a look at my bike immediately, even though I didnt have an appointment. This shop, they found out where is a problem - tire was worn out and cheap, so wear was uneven and caused shaking. They changed tire right away for a reasonable price.

Im adding a little to my previous review from 6 months ago. Since then Ive had a couple more occasions to use Milestone Motorcycles and I just cant say enough about how great theyve been for me. Id give these guys a 10-Star Review if I could.I needed a starter and had Tim change my oil while he was working on it. Although Ive always used 10/40, he put in 20/50 and explained that because its so hot, it would probably be better. Since then, the bike has been running beautifully. I never imagined a different weight of oil would make such a noticeable difference, but it did.Dealing with both of these gentleman has been a true pleasure. Knowledgeable, pleasant and reasonable. What more could one want?I have an older cruiser and the battery is in front of the rear wheel in a very awkward place to get at. Even if I could lay on my back, Im at an age where I choose not to.I called these guys and talked to Richard, who ordered a battery for me. A day or two later I called again and rode up to get it replaced while I waited. For about 15 years I used to ride right up the block to Zabors Cycle Repair, unfortunately Paul Zabor died a few years back and that shop closed. This reminds me a little of that shop too. Its tidy and well organized, with a lot of bikes out front in various stages of repair.Tim took great care of me, while I waited and it was very obvious that he knew his stuff. You can tell. Obviously its much easier to do this when you have a lift and he put it up, changed the battery out, checked it and rolled the finished machine out front.The battery and labor charges were reasonable and very fair. I have to say that Im thrilled to have found someone who I can take my almost vintage cruiser to in the future. I highly recommend this business.

These guys are great! Emailed several shops around town for some quotes to get some work done on my R6. Most didnt even respond but these guys got back immediately with a great quote. Brought my bike in the morning, they had it done by mid afternoon. Was a bit weary at first because it appears to be a shop more geared towards older bikes and restoration type work but they assured me they had plenty of experience with sport bikes. All service requested was done perfectly and they even went above and beyond inspecting my bike thoroughly and adjusting the chain for free. Will be bringing my bike and any future bikes here for service from now on.

Horrible service and took almost 3 months. No updates on my bike at all and had a bad attitude when i called. Never again will I come here.

I brought my SV 650 in last week after getting it knocked over while parked. These fellas were able to fix all the major aesthetic issues and maintenance at a good price. Very responsive and knowledgeable guys. I appreciate their help!

It was suggested I take my somewhat corroded ATV gas tank to these fellas to treat it. First time visiting these folks and richsrd invited me into the shop and very thoroughly walked me through the process as well as best way to keep the atv running. Seemed like a pretty good spot to address any of your motorcycles mechanical needs.

First things first - I am an absolute wreck when my motorcycle isnt working as it should, probably to the point that it could be considered some sort of serious psychological complex, but hey, we all have to have something. :)I called up Milestone Motorcycles this morning because my 2014 Yamaha FZ-09 headlight decided to stop working. Apparently the ground wire to the connector snapped.They told me to come on in immediately and that they were confident they could fix it on the spot.When I arrived, I was greeted by Dan, who was incredibly friendly and professional. He suggested some close by lunch spots and told me it would be no more than half an hour to forty five minutes. My bike was up on the stand and being looked at by Tim before I was even to the sidewalk.By the time I finished lunch, my bike was done. The owner, Miles, checked me out and I had an absolutely fantastic conversation about my bikes issue, motorcycles in general and just life - absolutely amazing experience.Tim, the senior mechanic, did an absolutely amazing job on the wiring work. It looks better than it ever did stock. As with Dan and Miles, Tim was a genuinely awesome guy.All in all, I cant say enough good things about my first trip to Milestone.Thanks so much, you guys! :)

I live in Dallas and was in Austin on Saturday 15 June 2019 at the ROT rally. My rear tire had a screw it in it that when I pulled it out to plug it. the hole was so big that 2 plugs would not seal it. Tim installed the new tire on my 2015 Victory Cross Country Tour and let me watch what he was doing and answered my questions that I had. He had even stayed later than his normal closing time to do the installation! The price for the installation was such a surprise! It was $30 less expensive than what I am used to paying for the service! Outstanding service and Tim was professional and cordial the entire time!

Upon arrival I talked to a mechanic and I was told that they usually dont work on bikes of low quality. My first thought was that couldve been worded better but I shrugged it off. Then the owner pulled up and I was able to talk to someone that seemed to have more experience talking to customers. I shouldve listened to the mechanic though because after I picked up the bike it was worse than when I left it...

My back tire was totally done - metal showing through and all (my bike is my main form of transportation). It had to get done that day but with working I couldnt really get anywhere until after 6. Most places are closes by then but not our lord and savior Milestone Motorcycles. They closed at 7, I got there 630. Got me done in like 20 minutes. I couldnt have been more thankful, theres a chance they actually saved my life as I wouldnt have been able to get my tire done for another 3 days..Im a creature of habit so they will be the only place I go.
