Service was fast, easy, and staff was very helpful. They honored my oil change online coupon too. Their service wait room was very comfortable and had all the amenities as well. Very happy with my visit. The only gripe I have is I spent 30 bucks on 2 bolts I needed but guess that’s the price of convenience.
My wife and I went in there wanting a more spacious vehicle. We already had our grand Jeep Cherokee for almost 4 years. Originally to get that cheap we traded in a sedan for it and it’s been great. We had a few recalls and issues nothing that was horrible they always took care of it. We just wanted to look at the new grand Jeep Cherokee L and we were greeted by Leonardo. He was great very understanding we were very honest with him about what we could do and what we wanted. He did not give us The typical salesman vibe and was very helpful. JR the general sales manager went above and beyond to make our dream come true. We got an amazing trade in value and a brand new vehicle then my wife loves. Definitely recommend speaking with Leonardo and JR as they are great members of the team.Thank you so much and we will definitely be back when we need another vehicle

We made a huge error in judgement when it was decided to have our Chrysler Town & Country van towed to Bakersfield Chrysler. They failed to provide timely service, did not fix the problem but rather recommended other work at a cost of >$1000. Unfortunately we agreed to them replacing spark plugs and to replacing the coolant. In the conversation with Eric, their service rep, he stated that our problem was due to a battery cable being loose. We disbelieved his analysis because we did have the battery checked before it was towed. There was no indication in the field that the battery had failed. After having the car nearly a week it was discovered upon pickup that the car failed to start. It was the same problem we had originally. The engine cranked but didn’t turn over. A Chrysler technician standing nearby observed this and offered his opinion. He thought it was a problem with the relay switch that failed to make contact with the fuel pump. He showed us how to get the vehicle started. He opened the hood and tapped on the module block. The car started. He even opened the module block and illustrated which switch was the likely culprit. This is a known problem with our model. Several of the other Chrysler products have been under recall for this problem. There is a $50 “plug & play” part that can be purchased that is easy to install. With the car running, we drove the 250 mi home. The car will still not start without tapping on the module first. We are asking that Bakersfield Chrysler refund us the $150 they charged to diagnose the problem. We have left the service department a message but no one has returned our call.

0 stars to this dealership, I can believe people discrimination! Bad service and unprofessional. Its actually the worst place i even been. What it really got me mad is that they run my husbands and my credit both over 10 times with many different banks unbelievable, not happy by running our credit but they also left us waiting in the room for over 3 hours then the situation scalate from 1rst seller to 5 more people all coming to talk to my husband and I and still didnt got in to the deal. But the main supervisor never showed his face . Thats call unprofessional job. Font know how to take care customers.
Maintenance wasn’t really done in a timely fashion BUT in their defense, they were slammed. Didn’t have any loaners and my Jeep had to stay there almost two weeks, but the manager went out of her way to get me a vehicle to use until the maintenance on my Jeep was completed. Friendly staff that tries their best to accommodate customers. My issues were resolved and the car seems to be running smoothly.

Don’t waste your time here!! Salesman don’t care to help! Came here looking for a new car and wasn’t 100% sure about getting one. I’ve never sat in or drove a Jeep vehicle before. The salesman opened the car so I could sit inside. I then asked if I could test drive and his response was “he doesn’t want to waste the miles on the car if I’m not 100% sure about the car.” How can someone be sure about a car they never drove before?! Guess they don’t want business.

Not a fan of new policy that you need to wait 24hrs to 48hrs for a Diagnosis.This is to insufficient for people who need a car to do their regular life. I personally will never buy a jeep again I’m having too many problems with a service that is inconsistently not there for me as a customer
By far the best experience I have had in buying a car from this dealership. Car salesman Robert, was an excellent man. Helped me with everything from beginning to end. Nothing but smiles through the whole process. Despite all the concerns and questions I had he made it simple and broke down everything for me to clearly understand. The experience with Bakersfield Chrysler was a great one. From the time we walked in to the time we left was so different than other places, meaning you didnt have 5 people walking up to you to try to sell you a car. We walked in, was greeted with a smile and thats when we had a chance to meet our salesman. He was absolutely awesome. He didnt try to force or talk us into getting in a car we couldnt afford. I bought a Pacifica Pinnacle 50k after incentives, took vehicle home and it fails to start, radio resets TV screens flicker black…I called to communicate issues and was told it was because my fault (having door opened while turning on, etc) fine I said it must me adapting to the new car. I kept having issues and finally decided to research and found all the TSBs (technical service bulletins) that apply and will fix my issues.Called for service and was told to bring it in same day. No one looked at it for 48hrs, I had to go back and pick it up knowing the risks that sometimes it doesn’t start. Was denied a loaner saying that my concerns did not warrant a loaner car, only after they look at it would they decide if one is needed. Well guess what- when the car is in service I have to work and drive my kids to school work etc? Can’t do this without a car.So essentially paid 50k at that dealer for sub-par service. Im really disappointed in them, it seems out like out of sight out of mind. So I went ahead and scheduled service again to get it looked at 20+ days later… all I’m saying is I should not have to keep my fingers crossed hoping for service on a new car bought at this dealer.

For the amount of money we spent on our new 2020 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, I could not believe the customer service we received. The transmission went out in under 15,000 miles and we were told it was something else. We were lied to about the date the part they originally ordered came in, just to find out it was the transmission. Our “New” Jeep was in the service department for almost a month, with no lender car available to us. We had to rent a car which we paid about $1600 for. We are still waiting to see if we are going to be fully be reimbursed for that. I spoke to a girl who said she was a manager but spoke like a teenager trying to convince me she was doing me a favor by pushing her weight around and getting me a reimbursement of half of what we paid for our car rental. In the end we spoke with Omar who at least acted empathetic with our situation with two babies, work, childcare and now a high bill from a car rental. We are trading our Jeep in and want to wash our hands of all connections with this company. Lemon car and beyond poor customer service.

Service department seems to have improved. Not as crooked as they used to be and they really treated me fairly this time. Not sure if they were that busy or that short of employees but it took two and a half days to do a simple one hour job. They did tell me this in advance so it really wasnt a big deal.

Bought my Jeep in 2016. I Wanted a special color. The salesman didn’t tell me I would pay $800 to transport it from another location. Otherwise I might have gone w a readily available color. Also, I was expecting a back cam and didn’t get it and he did not take it off the price. I paid it off a year in advance. They want my business again, as they send emails frequently, but I just dont know if I can trust them again!! I’m pretty sure they would find someway to use my grievance as a way of bamboozling me once again. I am very happy with the Jeep though.
As I drove up to get my jeep oil change there was a line of cars ahead of me and I was bummed. I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff was (even though they were busy) and efficient. I really didn’t have to wait long at all. My experience was great 👍 excellent customer service!

He called me daily to give me updates and worked hard to ensure I had a loaner, warranty work was completed, and much more. I had done research on my next Jeep Wrangler purchase and decided to order one that had all I wanted. I set a time with a salesman and financing, ordered and was told 8 to 10 weeks would be arrival. Just shy of 4 weeks I got a call the Jeep was in, picked up 4 weeks to the day I ordered. A few days after picking up, we noticed one corner marker was different. I called Jeep, and we scheduled a time to put in the corner marker that was suppose to be in place. That was done and a couple days after, the sales associate reached out to see if the Jeep was good. Great experience with picking up and financing along with the correction needed.
Sales department made me a great deal, made the experience easy to test drive three different vehicles until I found the right one. However the one lady in finance thought she would charge me for a maintenance package that I never even asked for. I specifically said that I wanted gap only and nothing else. Hopefully the one bad apple wont ruin the great sales team.

My salesman Mr. Mattana came out to greet me. He was very pleasant. He asked me what kind of vehicle I was looking for. I said a car. He asked any features I would like in a car. Then he took me to a few and showed me what they do, and how I can use my phone in them. He knew exactly what I wanted. I was allowed to drive the car I liked. When I brought the car back I told him I wanted to look around other places before I decided on one. There was no pressure on me from him. I came back because he was so nice and I liked the car. The lady who had me to sign so many papers was very nice. In all I had a great experience with this Bakersfield Jeep dealership. I have told several people how great they were and of the good deal they gave me. Im very pleased with my car.
New grand Cherokee 2018 only 46.000 the a/c very few times has been used my son lives in santa Cruz and air conditioner compressor broke with out asking service advisor told me it was common because of Bakersfield extreme hot and cold weather I ask if car had an air conditioner recalled because i over herd another jeep owner had the same problem i was also told by one of your previous mechanic employee that it was a very common problem with these jeeps I felt the a/c should have been replaced under warranty or lemon law but advisor as well as service manager did not care they both lied I would not recommend this dealership or any jeep grand Cherokee I recommend to do a recall on 2018 grand cherokee air conditioners
It was awesome. They took personal time and went far above what other dealerships would do. they found a better vehicle then we believed we could get, I went down they had the Jeep ready We signed the papers and 2 hours later we were on are way home. Never had a better car experience, it was the best, price, monthly payments making sure we could afford. Just a awesome experience
Took my car in today at 11 am for a recall repair was told ot would take 3-4 hours ended up calling my self at 5pm just to be told my car would not be ready because of someones miscommunication now I gotta miss work and be up brignt and early to get my car now smh

Horrible customer service, takes a long time for repairs and be prepared to wait on hold for a long time to get someone (20 minutes just to get a voicemail). I added the max warranty coverage when I purchased my car, which included rental coverage (be aware you don’t get a rental until your car is diagnosed). When my car was finally diagnosed 5 days later they said no rentals were available.
This dealership overall is great. I know things are hard with Covid but they trully do the best they can with what they have. Ya if you get an oil change it may take a little longer but they are always professional and always willing to answer any dumb questions you or I may have to ask. I have bought 3 vehicles from them one was a Limon but the other 2 over all were great. Keep up the good work you guys and thank you!
I was shocked at the customer service I received on August 1st. My sister and I went in at about noon with the intention of buying a Jeep that day. We had to look around the lot and the building for someone who could help because for the first 15 minutes no one came to greet us. Finally, we were able to get the attention of an older salesman by the name of Shawn. Right off the bat Shawn gave off an incredibly rude demeanor and attitude that said he had better things to do. When asked about a specific model he stated that Jeep was not making them anymore and did not offer any alternatives. We then asked what he recommended. He listed two models and when we asked to see them he didnt even know if they had them in stock. When he finally figured that out. He couldnt even find the keys to the model they did have. He finally came back with one set of keys and dragged his feet as he walked us over to the model. He then proceeded to give us a rushed showing of the car without even offering a test drive even after we showed interest. As we returned to the building he noticed vehicle and noticed a Jeep that he neglected to tell us about and said oh yeah we have that one too. In a irritated voice asked if we wanted to take a look or see if we even qualify first. His assumption that we needed financing even though we never mentioned it is what convince us to go across the street to the Mazda dealership and buy a brand new Mazda 2021 CX-5 Grand Tour AWD. If youd rather avoid incompetent sales people at Jeep, head across the street to Mazda and ask for Moises for a truly pleasant experience.

I give them zero Stars they have very lousy customer service. I took them my Jeep compass trailhawk told them I didnt know it was wrong with it they put in a sensor but that was it even though it needed oil needed to have its fluids changed and they said how are they supposed to know that if I didnt tell them. Well as soon as you turn on the car it says needs an oil change they said well you didnt tell us so we didnt do it why wouldnt you call me and ask and ask me if I want it done since it said it.And whenever I asked him this all they did was keep giving me excuses they had my car for 2 weeks kept telling me that they were going to give me a loaner and never did and I ended up losing quite a bit of money in my business because I had no vehicle.I have had the worst purchased experience in my life with Jeep.

After a couple bad experiences with other dealers we were pulled in by Dominique. He got our attention from the street with his great energy and enthusiasm. He helped us pick out the jeep of our dreams and the Manager helped us get the payments where we wanted. Dominique got us the deal we wanted, the car we wanted while keeping the atmosphere fun even though they were close to closing. Jeep stayed open 2 hours after closing so we could get the car we wanted that night.

Stoped bye for an oil change, the waiting room was full of people and they are not making co-vid safety measures a priority. No sanitizer anywhere available for customers in waiting room. No wipes to wipe down any sitting. Your would think with CO-VID raising in Kern that Jeep with make their customers feel safe during this time. I also waited for over an hour on my oil change.
We have used this dealership to purchase 3 vehicles over the years. The sales and finance teams are wonderful and treat you like family. They will do everything in their power to get you the best deal possible. We will definitely return when we are ready for our next vehicle.

I recently took my Patriot in for service because its having transmission issues and apparently its rare to find a transmission shop who will work on Jeep CVTs. When I showed up for my appointment no one else was there dropping off their car so you would think I would get help pretty quickly. I didnt see an attendant either so I figured I would just get a few things together that I didnt want to leave in the car. As I gathered my things other people started to show up and next thing I know at least 4 other people who had arrived after me received help before me. I figured that perhaps they wanted you to talk to the attendant at the podium so I went and stood by the podium. When the guy showed up I told him I had an appointment and he then told me to wait by my car. Like that had worked well from the beginning. Finally we were asked if we had been helped. I told her no and her response was that she had assumed I had since I was getting things out of the back and she had seen me opening doors. So, she didnt see me speak to anyone but had decided that since I wasnt just sitting there that I had already been helped. If it wasnt bad enough that I nearly drove off the lot for them having helped several people before me and having made me wait nearly an hour past my appointment time. After a couple of days I got a call to tell me that they cant find anything wrong with it. Even though just turning it on you can clearly tell that its not running normally. I sent them the paperwork from my normal mechanic hoping they could figure something out. A week after I dropped it off I received another call with the same message. Basically either I drive it till I kill the transmission and it has to be replaced or I have to spend a day off just driving around till the light comes back on so that I can take it back while the light is on. The only good thing that came out of this is that I didnt get charged for them looking into it. I find it ridiculous that the dealership couldnt figure anything out. Arent they supposed to know about their cars better than other mechanics? I got more info from someone who doesnt even work on Jeep CVTs. Unfortunately, I dont have much choice at this point unless I just decide to have someone replace the transmission altogether.
Asked for tire rotation didn’t get it. My Jeep obviously needs breaks they’re so loud but nope...place didn’t find anything wrong with them. Mechanics must have earplugs. This is the first time I’ve been here since I bought my Jeep Wrangler. Won’t come here again. Expected quality. I could’ve gotten this service from a Big Brand or something.

I bought my Jeep two years ago. I wrote a great review back then about the vehicle and salesperson that helped me. Unfortunately, the service department here has been more than a challenge everytime I take the vehicle in. Whether its for service or even an oil change. Called and left a message for the General Manager the last issue. Never returned my call. Now my engine light is on and they tell me it will be a month before I can get an appointment? I love my Jeep but the dealer just doesnt give a damn about taking care of their customers. I would suggest buying elsewhere or a different car company. Contacting Chrysler Corporate to outline my experiences with this dealership.

Do not buy cars here, they will cheat you, they will put things in you that you have not asked for, they will sell you a car that is broken, I tell you.

Very fast service and excellent customer care
I went to the express lane for my 50,000 mile oil change on my Jeep. Because I want to ensure that my Jeep dealer maintains my vehicle properly, I asked if there were any manufacturers service recommendations at 50,000 miles. My service advisor told me of the recommendations and I agreed to have them done. I was served promptly and had my services performed in less than an hour.I have had all of my Jeep maintenance done there since I bought my Jeep. They have great records of it all.
Every time I have taken my Jeep in for scheduled services, it has been quick, easy, and thorough! Great customer service!
Robert and Shawn were great guys to work with. They answered all my questions and made me feel welcomed every time my wife and I were there. It seemed like they truly cared about getting us a good deal.
While on vacation, another dealership in St George told us that we had an oil leak and needed a part no one in Utah or Arizona had due to Covid. We called Bakersfield Jeep and David assured us he had the part. We came and he found it wasnt oil, but transmission fluid. They repaired it and we were on our way. On our Grand Cherokee two other dealerships were unable to fix an issue with the auto bright lights. Bakersfield diagnosed it and repaired it. We have been pleased with their service.
