First time I ever been there but i feel in love.

Great customer service, killing guitar center in selection and most definitely service. Not as many guitars as guitar center but way better quality, I just went in to test my guitar on some amps and they were so friendly and accomadating

Excellent service, only music store I will ever shop at!

As soon as my foot entered the establishment someone was there to greet me and help me immediately. I was hoping to get my banjo repaired and not only will it be repaired it will be done so at a very minimal cost to me and almost restored back to full health. I came out of there with a T-shirt and some accessories for my banjo and I could not be happier. If you have an instrument that needs to be worked on or cleaned or restored at any point I definitely recommend Bakersfield Sound Co.

Awesome little music shop, very clean and well organized. I got to try out an EBMM Sterling Cutlass HSS through one of the shops own amps and a pedalboard full of all the Walrus Audio pedals Ive ever wanted to try! Their amp seems fantastic. Ill be back for sure

Hurray for small town businesses. The owner of this place went above and beyond for my daughter in regard to an amp power cord. He did not have what we needed so he loaned her his personal one until our order came in. Just wow. Ill never go anywhere else for our family instrument needs. Small place in Rosedale next to a barber. We may have missed if it were not for an Google search. Google maps directions will get you there no problem.

I was so very happy with the guys there, they were so friendly and helpful. They did a great job on my guitar at a amazing price. They will forever have my patronage.

After leaving guitar center and calling 3 music stores to try to find a very rare audio part This store just so happend to have have it. If you need a guitar, boutique pedals, band accessories, percussion gear this is the place to get it I have never had a better expression in a music store. I felt incredibly welcome and Eric and Cameron are wonderful that can help you with what you are looming for. We had a wonderful talk about pedals gear and music! They also have their own custom amps and pedals I highly suggest musicans check out this place!

I went into Bakersfield sound co. and asked for my acoustic guitar to get set up but I told their tech. I believe his name was Gary (not sure though) that I did not know whether it needed one or not. I am new to acoustic guitar and after he took a few measurements and played most of the frets on the fretboard he told me it was perfectly set up as is. I appreciated his honesty because he could have easily made money from me being clueless to how an acoustic guitar should be set up. Thank you so much and I will be sure to support you guys in appreciation!

Real authentic local music store run by real authentic musicians. Friendly fun service, including the welcome option of trying out instruments and jamming. Guitars, bass, drum centric, but they do now have a wind instruments section.

The guys are friendly and helpful. Its important to support our local businesses.They enforce the mask mandate but I have lung issues and cant wear one. I only had to explain it once and now they know and actually remembered. That meant alot. This will be my go to music store from now on.

Friendly Knowledgeable Staff and Great Service!

This is the only true professional music shop in town. I assure you, you are in good hands with Gary Rink. If you need an instrument setup, or any repair work, this is the only spot in town I trust. Let’s say you bring your guitar in and it’s past the point of repair, you won’t be charged, you’ll just end up with a fresh set of strings. That’s honesty and integrity. That is so hard to find in any Business.

Ive been in here several times and appreciate the depth of knowledge that Manager Gary Rink has. Everyone Ive talked to in the store has been very friendly and helpful, and they have some great prices on new, old stock items. They match prices for most things, and are willing to work with you on other things. I highly recommend, and I only expect the store to get better over time as they develop partnerships with other vendors, and get approved for used items. They also seem very knowledgeable when it comes to repairing amps, guitars, pickups, pedals, etc. Highly recommend.

I cant even begin to say how great they are! They are helpful and everything is at a good price. It feels good to be a customer.

Gary maked the store. Knowledgeable and knows his equipment. P.a.s, bass equipment, guitar equipment, keyboards. Tons of experience and gives lessons too. Guitar center lost a big part of their company when they let Gary go. Respect
