Ive had my truck for 15 years now. It has 204k miles on it. My truck has had over 20 different mechanics from all over Central Florida work on it. Sometimes they helped. Sometimes they didnt. They always seemed to do the bare minimum and charge A LOT for it. Ive had a misfire of some sort happen over the last SEVERAL months and many hands have had their try at trying to diagnose/fix the problem. Tim with Ratican Automotive was referred to me by a good friend. He came to my house and did his diagnostics. And it wasnt no cheapy $100 code reader. It was the MacDaddy latest tech full diagnostics computer reader. Ran an entire scan of EVERYTHING in my truck. He told me what he needed to do to fix my problem of the shaking engine/misfire feeling Ive had for months that no one else could figure out. I authorized and signed off on the work he intended to do. He did the work. Explained to me everything he did and how/why it all worked together so I could understand. I was MORE than happy to pay him for all his hard work and services and best part, making my truck run better and smoother than when I first bought her 15years ago!
