All kind of indian grocery and vegetables available here. Some frozen ready to eat foods and snacks also available. Fruit juices and variety of Indian fruits available besides some music cd and cloth materials. A place to understand culture of India
The best!!! Clean. Fresh veggies. Kind and honest people. What else do we need?!
This is one of my favorite grocery stores. Love the pre-made frozen meals and Indian breads. (As a bonus, I havent had to worry about people who dont wear a mask during the pandemic while Im there.)
This is usually my go to spot for Ayurvedic oils, and powders. But Im beyond disgusted by the recommendation of one of the ladies to purchase this Aryaorganic indigo powder. The powder started brown and remained so, even after the other Ganesha brand oxidized in 5 minutes. Both powders were bought at the same time.PLEASE STOP DECEIVING PEOPLE!! As a longtime customer here, it only takes one bad experience to lose repeat business.
The staff is extremely rude! I was casually browsing the store when I noticed that one of the women working there was following me around. I was the only customer there and its a very small place, so it was very obvious. At no time during my visit did she offer to help me. She silently stalked around and watched me like she expected me to steal something. Ill take my business elsewhere. The store is cramped and dirty, anyway.
My wife and I have been coming here for years and we love it. The staff has always been very helpful. Great place to get the unique spices we love.
Fresh vegetables, groceries and fresh gua vas
Great Store. Great Vibe. Palak Paneer frozen dinners for $2.99 which is way cheaper than franchise grocery (Whole Foods, Albertsons) average of $4.99 - $5.99. I spoke with the store clerk about possible upcoming shipments of lamb saag while Khoya Khoya Chand Khula Aasman Hindi music played in the background. Good Times! Will Return!
First time in store and i enjoyed looking around i bought something works was very nice i go again 😊
Bought some paneer and it was like this, bought goat meat turn out to be lamb, and highly priced store, go to indian store new Orleans not here.
Nice place for some Desi shopping
Amazing store. The variety and prices were awesome. If you need food or condiments from any part of India, this is the place.
Great place. They provide numerous items from India and beyond. I have heard other customers claim that they feel like they are back at home, in India. They must have over 10k different items from India alone! And the prices are very reasonable considered they are imported. They also have lots of veggies typically used in Indian cuisine. My favorite is the Lassi.
The only authentic Indian store nearest to LSU. Baton Rouge is quite the city, haha.
Lady is very rude .....and price on the item is mentioned as $8.99 and she is charging $15.99, Wen I asked her about it n she Scratched with her hand suddenly replied its for small bag, watever the system is showing thats the correct.I request her to plz check the price before you charge it.Very disappointed .
I love shopping at this locally owned grocery shop! The owners are friendly and if you have questions about of their products, they there to help!
As soon as I enter through those beautiful glass doors, my heart starts to flutter. The rich, aromatic smells surround me and take hold of my soul and make me feel so safe in their embrace. 25/10 would recommend. #Lit
The lady there, Sumaiyyah, is very nice and so helpful in getting me what I needed!
Indian store
I have been going to this grocery for 10 years, never had a bad experience, until yesterday. I asked the owner there a question and called her “aunty” and she yelled back my, when I mean yell, I mean she yelled....”don’t call me aunty, I’m not your aunty, I have told you before, don’t call me aunty.” She has never in the 10 years I’ve been going there, told me not to call her “aunty.” She was very rude!! I was there with two of my non Indian friends, there first experience there was very bad. She last lost my business there, along with my friends. I would recommend everyone else not to shop there, if you can go where, please do!
Has everything that you would need to make Indian food at home
‘Fahion India and grocery’ is my fav place to get Indian food. You can find every international grocery and fresh vegetables here. Owner is very sweet. great customer service!
One of the worst grocery store in Baton Rouge . The Indian lady at the store is very rude and unprofessional never give respect to people and not good service . They never on time their store hours is 11 but if you go to 11:30 they still won’t allow you to get vegetables . If they need time to set up everything then change the store hours. You can’t be rude with customers if you’re late always. Indian lady is very rude always .
This shop has almost every thing which can fulfil Indians cooking needs. Fresh vegetables arrives every Wednesday. There is a good variety of vegetables, though there are not all the kinds that are available in the home country. There is a dress section, which I never been into except in my first visit. Its a small but pricy collection, which may come handy to someone who badly need an Indian dress.
Amazing customer service. Always good to be back to this place. Great selection of asian food/snacks. You get treated like a friend/family rather than just customer.
Lovely owners/staff and everything you need for Indian influenced cooking.
Great place for non Indians to try and learn some new cooking ingredients. Very helpful staff
Its a small place with friendly people. They have some clothes as well which I never bought. They have most of the important Indian groceries. I go quite often
Very friendly staff and helpful.
I love this place. It have varieties of Indian foods, spices, pickles etc.
Nice place for India special grocery. Cooperative staff.
Wide assortment of vegetables, spices, tea, coffee and herbal powders, like henna, indigo etc. Excellent service as well.
Only place in Baton Rouge to get Indian vegetables. They get fresh load of vegetables every Wednesday.
Love the selection of Indian spices. Fresh hard to find produce is readily available.
Best Indian storePolite and helpful staff 👌🏻👍🏻
Worst Indian groceries!!!! Poor Baton Rouge people does not have other good option to get Indian vegetables... The owners are pricing every product with higher price than normal. Example, they get rice bags from Sams club and sell it for double the price!!! If you can plan go to New Orleans and get groceries!!! You will save a lot ... trust me!!!
I constantly get worms(rice-size, white body, dark head) in my bags of rice and wheat flour....disgusting. Getting fresh vegetables every Wednesday is something thats still making me shop at this place.
Theres a wide variety of food, clothing, and kitchen tools available. The owners are helpful when you are looking for things.
Its good place for indian spices and products..
Always has what I need and the workers are always happy to help.
I like that place I like to bye all kinds of good items good behavior
Very nice place to buy good quality Indian foods at reasonable price.
Good indian grocery store. Fresh vegetables on Wednesday
Great friendly atmosphere, love this place!
Is there any type of clothing here that would be suitable for Muslim Sisters that dresses a little more cultured than others???
Only Indian store in Baton Rouge with decent products
My first indian grocery store experience at USA. I could never imagine they would sell clothes, luggage along with grocery. Not so common vegetables seemed the biggest plus point of this store for me such as gourds. They also sell dried fish sometimes. You can find most indian spices here, but they seemed often expired yet overpriced which bothered me.
Very friendly service at this store. The lady knew alot about their products.
Its noticably more expensive than others like A to Z or Kaseds
I love this store and the ladies are so helpful!!
Good source for Indian spices and groceries!
Conveniently located and carries just about all the food stuffs I need for basic Indian/South Asian dishes.
Great service and products.
Good place for Indian veggies. The grocery section is minimal and exorbitantly priced.
Good stuff
Nice collection of Indian goods
Check the expirey bettor you buy. .. it has most of the Indian groceries
Vary bad customer service, and they sold me the bad grocerry and wont return it, I dont recommend this place for shopping and too expensive also..
Small one but so much of collections of Indian groceries items.
Go for some Indian things which are not available elsewhere.
Shabby, dirty, smelly little store. Very cluttered. Looks more of dumpster than a store. Went once, never going there again.
I would say place for my emergency need as things were costlier.
Not giving 5 star because of prices at this place
Love this store!
Good Indian collection
Good food.
Decent store, but very pricey
Great
Okay price. Most of the Indian ingredients are available.
Love this store!
