Less than 1 star review. They’re absolutely disgusting and only care about money. I would not recommend getting anything from them. If you can find the same equipment at a different company with nicer people who actually take into consideration your health…CHOSE THEM NOT APRIA!!!!!!!!!!
I walked in without an appointment. I rang the bell and was greeted in less than a minute. I was looking to try a different mask. The young lady who assisted me was very patient, knowledgeable and professional with a sense of humor. She showed me the various products and advised me on reviewing my last supply order date to ensure what would be covered by my insurance. She invited me to return when I’m ready to place my order so that they could assist me. It seems that the management has taken to heart the negative reviews because I was extremely satisfied with today’s experience.
My parents used Apria for more 18 yrs. Awesime services. Now, my husband is on oxygen since 3 months ago. The mg from Baton Rouge, Mr. Adam, has been wounderful. Today, Fred, came to my home to bring me a new equipment. I remember Fred from helping my parents. I knew my parents were save with Fred. Very helpful & honest. Apria is a great company, Excellent products & compassion workers. Thank you for all the help.
If I could rank less than 1 star I would!! My in-laws had a terrible experience with this company. After calling for over a week, equipment still not delivered after being told daily it was “coming today.” This place is a joke. I do not understand how a company with such poor customer service can stay in business. Save yourself the headache and use another company.
Im sure if you are only dealing with them through insurance, theyre fine because an insurance company wont allow them to over charge. But if you are a cash patient, they will overcharge you by double. We went from insurance to self pay and its been a nightmare. They didnt explain how the switch worked so now we are out of hundreds of dollars. If someone had explained how the conversion worked, we wouldve gone somewhere else from the get go. Shame on us for not demanding answers.
Shut the doors, fire the help, close the call center ( its in Bumf**k Egypt) and start over! Patients have enough stress than to have to deal with rude, non-professional jerks that cant get it right
Had great service with then a few years ago, when I had regular insurance. Since having to go to medicare, and changed insurance companies I have had problems getting supplies. You can no longer call a local number, you have to go through calling no telling where to order supplies, most of the time you can hardly understand the person you are trying to order supplies from. I am a bit disappointed in how the new management of Apria has really messed up the dealing with a local office. I had no complaints when I could talk to the folks locally, now there is no way you can call them, it is automatically directed to this so called center and then it goes down hill from there.
I am sorry that the rest of you had such a bad experience. I went there today at 4:00 pm and was treated respectfully and professionally. The worker and I got along very well.
Horrible company. They outsource everything to India and it is very apparent that the call center does not have access to payment records. In addition insurance is a very difficult subject to talk about with someone whos first language is not English. Had to waste my time trying to get a situation cleared up where a bill was paid and my insurance company had records that the bill was paid and the check cashed and the Apria billing dept kept calling me saying the bill wasnt paid. Every time Ive had to deal with this company it is a waste of my time.

Apria was more worried about maximizing their profit vs best treatment for patient. Misled me on treatment options and equipment rental options.I returned equipment and have continued to be billed and being harnessed with calls on rental payments for equipment that was returned.I cannot warn you enough to stay away from this company.
I have been calling off the hook I keep getting that the mailbox you have called is full and you cannot leave a message goodbye how in the hell am I supposed to get my oxygen from a company that has a mailbox that is full sounds like its time to change to a real company
Horrible Horrible Service! The moment I walked inside and it took multiple rings to get someone to help me, I knew it was all downhill. The lady had headphones in which is why It took her so long to answer me, The customer service was absolutely horrendous, From cancelling my appointment to not returning my calls, and giving me equipment without an explanation, I was disappointed in the service to say the least. If you can switch to another healthcare, You will save yourself headaches and unnecessary stress!
The black lady with red hair slammed the door in the face of a customer, yelled at her that she was lying when the customer claimed she had been waiting for 1 hour. It was the most egregious display of unprofessional behavior in an office environment that you can imagine.It was Friday afternoon and she was obviously more interested in going home instead of serving her customer. As a doctor I have advised thispatient to find another provider. I would not advise any patient to use Apria until there is a change in the staffing at this location!
Poor customer service... I was told that equipment would be ready after 1pm on Tuesday... on Friday, no equipment was available and was asked to come back the following week. Their excuse was that they just dropped the ball. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE medical equipment company. The service is horrible! My mother has yet to get her walker...it has now been six months since it was ordered! Please use another provider for your healthcare needs.
The office in Baton Rouge showed me total disrespect and poor customer service. The employees were rude and inept. I will be getting a new machine but not from this company. Will never do business with this company again.
