The Battle Creek Columbia Ave store is staffed with a strong team and both their customer service and quality of work is outstanding. I used to be a Costco tire shopper and have totally given that up for Discount. With 5 cars and driving close to 100,000 miles per year, we need our tires in great shape. Discount Tire delivers that for our family. Very happy!

Finally put 4 new tires on one of my cars. The guy gave me the best price for me.. will not go anywhere else.. fast service.

I thought I needed two new tires because if air leaks, I bought $400 worth of 2 back tires to find out I needed new sensors instead of actual tires. Ryan, the man up front, explained this to me as well as offering the idea that I didn’t need my new tires and instead to get just the sensors and it would save me almost $100. They could have said I needed both and took more of my money but instead they explained and offered their best service.

Not happy with this store at all. I ordered new rear tires for my 370z (Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+(245/45)) which are some of the top rated All Season tires for my car, and I set up an appointment for them to install. After going there, about two hours later, they come up to me and say they cant get my tires on my wheel, they cant figure it out, so they put on the complete wrong size tire and then tell me itll be $139 extra. They told me the size would work just fine cause it fit much better. So they give me the keys and say Im good to go. I then walk out to my car and see that my brand new powder coated wheels are completely messed up and they even lost one of my Z stem caps and they werent going to tell me about it at all. Matt (manager) told me he could only pay for one wheel and Id have to pay for the other one to get re powder coated cause it wouldnt be fair to him to have to pay for both (even though his employee is the one that messed them up). Nothing got resolved at the moment and when I drove away I noticed my traction control doesnt work anymore (probably due to wrong size tire) and now I have to call district office in the morning because Matt was no help at all.EDIT: I am changing the 1 star to 3 stars (not 5 because I shouldnt have had to be in this position to begin with). Anyway, the very next day after all this happened I got a call around 7:50am from the assistant manager (Keith) who has helped me out with all of this. He came to my house Tuesday afternoon, picked up my two wheels, found a place to get them re-powder coated, got a better size tire for my car, bought me new stem caps, bought me new lug nuts, and then came back to my house that Friday and put my wheels back on for me. Wheels now look amazing again and the new size tire fixed my ABS issues. Keith gets 5 stars, the store gets 3 stars, Matt and the employee that caused this gets 1 star and I dont think Matt is fit to be the manager of this store, give the position to Keith.

I bought a new used car. Went in there to get the air checked. Because of sensor light was on very polite very courteous they always have them for the twenty years Ive been going there.

My husband needed new tires,they were put on in 3 hours,he got the most expensive ones and because he works at Denso got a couple hundred dollar discount. If you need tires,go there,they will hook you up.lf you work at Denso,show your picture ld and you will get the discount.

Spending money on tires is a necessary evil. Discount tire is good because they are in many states and always seem willing to help out with tire needs when we are on a road trip. Today we bought new truck tires. They were pricey, but glad to have them for the next part of our trip across the country.

I cannot praise this establishment high enough, on a Saturday afternoon I was able to pull in, explain the situation to a tire professional and receive all my options for tires. I needed both rears replaced but they also made sure my front tires were road worthy and safe and even filled the front left to the required psi. At no time did they try to upsell me any options or services that werent necessary and everyone was extremely courteous and performed their jobs very well. The icing on the cake was the time spent there from my arrival to my departure was under an hour. I realize Im extremely lucky in this regard and hope that if you ever need tire services and choose Discount Tire on Columbia that you will experience this super fast service but if it does take considerably longer, I assure you it is worth the wait.

Ive used them for years, and I can honestly say they are professional, excellent, and they are very timely. It should be noted that they are often very busy, and even when slammed with cars, they keep this level of exceptional work ethic and customer care. Ive had three vehicles at this location alone and had service multiple times for various circumstances, and its been the same consistent quality service each time.

Then told at least another 45 minutes before car would be done. Lots of excuses. Have been buying from Discount for 30+ yrs. NEVER again.

One of my better experiences with discount, i was there 15 min before they opened, thus first in line, service was prompt and efficient, highly recommend going there early when all the assoicates are still feeling their coffee.

Service is good. The employees just need to be mindful that their clothes or their hands may be greasy. Some people have premium leather or light colors. Need to use some kind of plastic on the seats and wash their hands or use some rubber gloves when jumping in and out of some ones vehicle.

Today was crazy busy there for them. It took 15 minutes of waiting before I was able to speak to someone to check in for my appointment. Even as busy as it was and snowy, Tim took care of us in a timely manner and made sure my tire was fixed and did what had to be done (let my tires thaw out) so they could get them balanced right. I have went there several times in the last 3 days to have my tire pressure checked. After waiting for 30+ minutes with no one coming to do it, even after going in to the desk. I still have not been able to get my tire pressure checked.

Ive had pretty good luck with this location. They have good pricing on most of the tires Ive gotten quotes on. They have also recommended better upgraded tires with a better mileage warranty, when the increased cost was minimal. Watch for promotional rebates, especially around holidays for additional savings. Their installers do quality work and are very efficient from what I have seen.

We have purchased a lot of tires there, over the last 20 years or so. They give you a good guarantee on your tires and have always backed it up when necessary. Theres plenty of tires and wheels to choose from and the guys up front are very knowledgeable. I highly recommend and appreciate Discount Tire.

Service sucks only working with 2 bays on a Friday. At the beginning of the month. We got there at 835 am they told us it would be about 1 and 15 minutes. We finely left there at 1110. So what ever time they tell you add on at least an hour or more. Good luck.

These guys were amazing. Very quick and professional. After a long day and flat tire, they made my day. Christian in particular was so kind and knowledgeable. They replaced two of my front tires and repaired one of my back tires. I would recommend them to anyone.

Will not buy tires anywhere else. Since my purchase listed here I have bought 2 more sets of tires for my other vehicles and spent 20 minutes there having all 4 tires rotated, balanced and a TPM/valve stem replaced because of a 2 lb a day leak. Now that is super fast service. If you do not believe that they are awesome. I travel about 50 miles just to go there. We have a Bell Tire in my town and several privately owned places. I will travel the round trip of 100 miles. Had Bell tire do a front wheel bearing. Charged me $500.00 and left a caliper bolt out. 4 months later found this while I was changing my oil. Part cost when I did the otherside $130.00 so $370.00 labor to leave a caliper bolt out.

I went with my teenage daughter to get tires here. I made her do the talking so she can learn and I am so glad we came here. The gentleman [i forgot his name :(] was patient with her questions and explained the different tire options to her. I really felt she got great tires at a fair price for her car based on his recommendations.

This is without a doubt the worst customer service experience I’ve encountered in the automotive industry. I came to get new tires installed which is normally a 45 minute job. It was two hours before my truck was even pulled into the bay. In that time no one came to update me on the time frame of when my truck would be worked on. Finally, a tech came over to deliver the bad news that some of my lug nuts were cracked. No big deal, I purchased a new set. Another 40 minutes go by and the tech pulls up my truck simply states, “We stripped one of the lug bolts on your front driver side wheel so you’ll have to get that fixed somewhere before you can put a lug nut on.” I was sent home with no apology, no offer to fix the problem, no offer for a refund to cover the damage to my truck. I don’t understand how a company can send someone home with a potentially dangerous situation they caused. I feel like my time, money, and respect have been taken advantage of. I was patient all throughout this experience, but I have no problem recommending everyone I know to take their vehicles to a different company that will treat their customers better.

Had an appointment at 9 am and they had the keys since 8:40 and didnt take the car back until 9:20 they are only using 2 out of the 8 bays and they never typically make me or people I know wait, but today they have fallen out of grace, new management Is in order i think.

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and they will work with you to get you what you need. Prices are also very reasonable, as well as wait times. Negative reviewers are just entitled and cant handle their own time management.

Fast and efficient service. The only reason that I dont give this place the full five stars is because the service is almost too good. The associates explain the services in very minute and long detail to patrons who clearly dont understand or dont care about what they are saying. Not good at reading who is there just to get a certain service no matter what (like me). Having said that, its a positive negative and I have been using Discount Tire in BC for my tire needs for the past 20 years. If I may say one more thing and this is probably a corporate decision, they close way early and its hard to get there when you have a 9 to 5 job.

They were very busy today due to a power outage at another location and having to pick up the slack. The guys were hustling around trying to take care of everyone while still answering call. They were professional and courteous even to customers who were (in my opinion) rude. There are lots of other discount tire locations but this is the one I prefer to use.

I usually make all of my tires and wheel purchases from discount tire no matter what style or manufacturer tires you get they all in my opinion have the same quality but maybe different prices the reason for the four star instead of a five-star was because I dropped two wheels and tires off to have new ones put on and mounted and it took quite a while to get them done but then again they were real busy

I have never had problems with any discount tire until I went to this one. Not even a week prior I had 4 new continentals put on my 03 Jetta in Jackson and had amazing service. Today I took my other 03 Jetta into this discount tire and I watched them 75% of the time through the window struggle to put the wheels back on the hub for 35 minutes+ due to VW using bolts and it being difficult to get the rim lined up with the holes. An employee continued to put a stud into the hole and cross thread it and take it back out once he realized it was. So their idea of solving the problem was to find lugs that somewhat match up and just work it back and forth until it made new threads.I got tired of it and proceeded to drive not even a quarter mile down the road and heard the brakes screaming because the studs they used were too long. The assistant manager pulled 4 of the lugs off of his own vehicle to put onto mine just to fix what his employees messed up.By the end of the day I am going home and putting the car up on my hoist to find out if my hub is destroyed.(Edit: apparently I’m not the first to have this happen.. view another customers review in picture.)
