I am going to miss this location, as are so many people. I have been here at least once per week for close to 25 years. The selection has always been amazing, the staff knowledgeable and helpful, the atmosphere soothing.I frankly dont much care for the Bridgeport location, so I will enjoy Tanasbourne for the time that remains.

This place was the hangout spot for a lot of us in the early 2000s. I remember getting guitar books here and hanging out at Starbucks with my friends with our guitars past midnight.It’s very sad that it will be torn down to make room for more fast food.

Pretty Sad that is Permanently Closing in Mid October.. I love Looking around at Book Store & Sister’s really like it too. We have heard that In N Out Burger will be coming into that Parking Lot & to really Delicious.

Fantastic selection of books. Pretty good selection of games for adults and kids. Mediocre music selection, vinyls are sold here. The atmosphere is pleasant and everyone working there gives off a friendly vibe. They treat you with respect and never make you feel bad if you cant explain which book youre looking for. The employees are knowledgeable and keep a smile behind their mask. The attached Starbucks should be a Black Rock instead (personal preference). Otherwise, I cant say anything too negative about this particular location. When you first walk in, you feel the calmness and value as a customer. Ill be returning as often as possible!

Im going to miss this place as this location is closing soon. I will miss perusing the seemingly endless variety of books after grabbing a coffee at the connected Starbucks to spend one of my gift cards over the years. They will be missed.

Learned 2 days ago this place is closing. I liked the interior small with a bunch of books to browse. Only the OG will remember there once was a Barnes & noble.

The store does not stock the best seller “How I Changed the World” by Jesse Waters. They say it can be special ordered. It’s a best seller but not in stock?

This store is closing on the 24 the of October 2021. They are looking to reopen in a nearby location. Hope they do soon.

Books of all varity and a wide collection of board games. They aslo have a neat little kids section. There is a starbucks connected to the store awells. Such a great synergy.

Didnt care for their coloring books and was bothered to know they are closing permantly in october.

I went to purchase two books from your store. I had the receipt after buying the books and I had my younger brother temporarily hold them. He accidentally dropped them causing cement and water damage due to the rain. I brought them back inside and even though I had just been in there your incompetent chain refused to properly reimburse me for my damage, neither replace the books nor give me my money back despite having the receipt. Whether this actually be your policy or not it is foolish and insulting and I refuse to ever by a book from your chain again and I will make sure my family does not either.

I love this bookstore, so sad it is going away due to In&Out burger.

I havent been here in ages but I remember the prices being a bit high. However, its late at night and I was close so I decided to stop by.The place is quite clean and organized which I very much appreciate. I spoke with Elsie who had amazing customer service and helped me narrow books down to read (Storm Front).As I approached the checkout stand, both Kyle and Megan went out of their way to help me find a simple owl bookmark (despite the store closing in mere minutes).All three were extremely friendly and I can see myself coming back for another read!

Book diversity is excellent and there is so many things you could buy here. Not just books to read. Employees have always been nice and helpful

Good book store, has the most popular/most recent books. Just closes too early, and also wont hold books that arent insanely popular for too long.

Theyve changed the layout of the place, so its a bit harder to navigate. Its still a great go to if youre looking for some decently priced books and deals. Also a good place to casually hang out with your friend and search for some books during the pandemic.

I tried okay. I tried to give an actual store my business. And sadly/ironically my local bookstore was closed so I went here.Great atmosphere. Very clean store. Amazing displays. I could live between these bookcases.But the books I wanted were literally marked up twice as much as it was on amazon. Come on. What am I supposed to do. I took time to go to your store even though I could have gotten it delivered for free, and then you do this to me?If you want a place to read or look at books come here. If you want a place to buy books, go literally anywhere else.

I like coming into this store. They have a pretty good selection and the staff is generally quite helpful. The location is conveniently located right off Highway 26. Before COVID I would just go sit in one of their comfy chairs and sample some books. Im glad they are here.

I have spent a lot of time here. Before covid I would do homework at the Starbucks until late and I always find a book whenever I go in. Its quite and calming place to shop.

The store is completely rearranged to accommodate social distancing, which was great. Also, the staff is generally very helpful. However, when you know the title and genre of a book and you go to exactly where it should be and cant find it, theres a problem. This happens to me at least half the time, and it really shouldnt be some kind of mind reading test to buy a book.

Book stores are magical places filled with imagination. I love to just go and look at all the different kinds of books. If you can please try to buy local to support physical stores.

The store is well maintained, clean, and layed out nicely. I really appreciate the customer service from the knowledgable staff who is always available to help. My only complaint is that books are not always found in the section you would expect to find them, but ask the staff and they will sort it out for you.

This is a great store with a nice, clean and well thought out floor plan. They always have good deals on books too!

In light of the Coronavirus, B&N has moved things around a bit, but its a wonderful thing. Fewer aisles and more open areas for browsing allows for better social distancing, and everything is in the area youd expect it to be, instead of somewhere different in the store. There are markers on the floor leading to the registers to further this social distancing, but other than this? Its the same Barnes & Noble I know and love, one heck of a bookstore with a phenomenal selection of books of all kinds.

Employees not wearing masks while at the checkout counters, no attempt to alter the entrance door to make it touch free, no actual attempt to limit crowding in the store or improve ventilation — I honestly thought a bookstore would be smarter than this.Not impressed.

This is one my one of my happy places! Clean, quiet, and organized with a lot more than just books. I have been to Barnes and Noble stores all over the country and have never had a terrible experience. This one is special to me because I live fairly close by.Looking for a particular book, or a special gift for someone? Searching for the next book in a series or something completely new? The staff is knowledgeable and eager to help!Plus having a Starbucks attached doesnt hurt! I mean coffee/tea and books! Yes please!

Shopping here is like a mini-vacation. I wander through each area, enjoying the diversity of publications, the great magazine selection, & all the little gift items. Love the bargains!There is always a new future read inspiration (o 2, 3, more) to be found. The staffers are gracious & helpful. Time spent here is always well spent time.

Overall really happy we still have books stores. Nothing like holding a real book and engrossing oneself into actual pages that require you to actually turn them. Overall a good selection for the size of the store.

It is a book store need I say more. However, I miss the comfortable chairs that used to be everywhere years ago. Easy I have spent 10,000.00 at the various stores in the past 12 years. Having a nice chair to sit in to peruse my treasures makes me want to buy more, please bring them back. This is something very important, I am an America that belongs to one of the many identifiable ethnic groups in this country, in over a 1000 times I have been at in the various stores I have been treated with kindness and respect 997 times. The book gods will get the three jerks. You would have gotten a perfect 5 but over the past year when I put something on hold it disappears.

My niece wanted a very specific book and I had no idea where to look. Within a minute of walking in the door a super friendly woman asked if she could help me find something. She knew exactly where it was, showed me a whole series, explained how the sequences went and made a great recommendation on another similar series and writer style. She also took the time to listen to my son and humored all of his silly time consuming questions. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this location!

Great place full of tons of universes and worlds and tons of things to do and explore. Each time you enter you can find some place completely different. A firm place where imagination grows. A wonderous journey through time and space. They also have a lot of memorabilia for different shows and movies and books.

This store is great for getting whatever book/journal/planner you need/want. If you want it, then they have it! Plus theres a Starbucks of you want to sit down and enjoy your new book with a good drink 😉

The employees here are great. Theyre friendly and helpful. The store is nicely sized, with a decent variety of genres, a large childrens section, and many gift items.They have events, including storytime for kids, regularly. There is also a coffee shop adjacent, for those of us who cant wait to dive in to our new purchase.

The best place ever for books. Im not the most avid reader ever. This place is awesome 👌 wanted to buy so many books had to put on hold for today. Found ones for daughter, sister, grandkids, ones we wanted, his mom. You can sit,( Im handicapped ) and skim through make sure it right for whoever. Check it out
