This is a wonderful coffee spot to get some studying in, get work done, or visit with a friend. There is nice indoor and outdoor seating - and plenty of it! Some coffee shops are wonderful and have a great vibe but not enough space. This one has the vibe, the seating, the space, and always seems to be well staffed. I enjoyed just a simple espresso shot on ice but it was very good! Craving it now even….. ! There is also a drive-through…. haven’t used it yet, but love when cafes have that option.Try this place!

The friendliest staff at any coffee place! Love that they remember my name and my daily drink! My pup loves the cup of whip cream he gets when he joins me. I am addicted to the peach mango fuel!

Great tasting coffee. I tried the Jackhammer and the Iced Coffee. Both were tasty and they were nicely caffeinated. Not too hot and not too cold for the Jackhammer, was right temperature to drink. It woke me up and I really needed that boost that day! Also, coffee wasnt too overly sweet like Starbucks ones.Iced one- I think it was cold brew- wasnt sweet either (which made it feel healthier to drink vs. Starbucks) and also did a great job energizing me. Not too watered down either with ice.The takeout boxes are cute and make it easy to hold the drinks with the handle.

I typically go to Black rock for their delicious cold brew and to crank out my assignments. Having been to this location twice now, it feels like the bass is turned all the way up. There is no where to sit to avoid the loud music. Not even my headphones crammed down my ears can buffer some of the sound. This location might be too noisy for me to work for me in the future. Staff is very friendly, however.

This Black Rock coffee location is the best I have seen so far! They have the usual glass garage door that opens to the outside and they have outside seating! That’s a big deal for Arizona during the winter time. The bathrooms were clean and their drinks are larger than Starbucks. Who loves Black Rock coffee products? What’s your favorite?

The coffee and cinnamon tolls were great. The only problem was the loud rap music. The clientele really wasnt of age to enjoy it. I hear an older couple complaining to each other. There were others too. Not very relaxing if you want to sit inside.

BR is the best. Great reward program, always great customer service and their coffee is some of the best around. I used to have one across the street before we moved but having one within 10 miles was a must for our new home.... Came in close with 8 miles but still close enough to visit.

The atmosphere here is unlike most other Cafes and Starbucks’. The inside is designed with large, open ceilings, concrete floors, and wide garage-door style windows/doors. They open the oversized doors in ideal weather and it literally feels like they are calling the outside community to come in and belong when they do. This location has leather sofas for socializing with multiple friends, patios large enough to accommodate more than two bodies at one time, and boast SQUARE hardwood tables that are sturdy and large enough to hold more than one book or laptop at time. The entire layout of these Black Rock’s, this location included, is unmistakably open in design and feel. I love coming here.

Black Rock is wonderful. Super friendly staff, and relatively quick drive through times. Only complaint would be that the line of cars in the drive through lining up from the turn into the shopping center, instead of looping around the back... maybe some signage to direct people around?? That being said, that isnt on the staff, still a 5 star experience.

Great coffee in East Mesa... FINALLY! I was completely blown away by their friendly service, great coffee, and INSANE atmosphere. This place is what hipsters dream of, plenty of open tables to read a book, work on a project, or chill with friends. I havent seen the garage doors open yet, but Im sure when the weather is nice its going to be phenomenal. Vegan coffee options available (dairy free milks offered)

Great coffee ☕! First time for me, but son has had their coffee before. Told me it was good, so needed to check it out. Went through drive-thru. The way it was layed out was a little confusing. Also, they werent using the speaker box to order, but took it right at the window. The girl was really nice. Chatted while our order was made. Would go again!

I received a discount rewards amount of $2 off my next drink. When I went to get coupon there was a message below it that said my discount would only be good for 30 minutes, so I didnt open it.I went to the location on Crismon opened the coupon only to find out it had expired. I didnt know the date because that information wasnt available until I was to open it. This seems crummy to me.

Last couple days I’ve been the customer service is awful. 😢 I asked for cream in my Americano and they served it black. Nah, never going back. Worst part is they ask for those silly tips but I am always up to give them but then this happens it’s very frustrating.

Drinks are good customer service was good. All the tables inside where taken and thats good but what is not good is not one person sitting inside wore a mask. Not the guy sneezing into the air or the girl at the next table coughing as shes telling her friend hope I dont have the Covid as her friend says I dont think you do. So wont be going back here.

First time here. Vusuting from WI, and love going to the local stores. Staff was incredible, offering their favorites, welcoming, and we got a cute sticker for visiting. Of course had to buy some merchandise to take back with us 😁

Ive never had anything under a 20 minute wait. Ive gone there a 6:15 in the afternoon and I still had to sit in line for 20 minutes with only one car in front of me. Its a shame because the coffee is good. I just cant waste 20 minutes of my day on one iced coffee.

Came here on opening day when they offered FREE coffee all day! Even though the lines were crazy long, they worked so fast and maintained their friendly attitudes from what we observed. This place is absolutely gorgeous and I love what they did with the decor/design. Totally my type of spot Id hang out at.

This place is so awesome. I would go here everyday if i had the time and money. Today the girl working the drive thru was so helpful and sweet. She really put me in such a good mood with how bright and friendly she was. More places need to have employees like this. Her name is Carley. I might have spelled it wrong. I had to ask her what her name was because she was so awesome. Most of the staff here is very friendly as well but Carley takes it to the next level. I recommend this place to any and everybody

Oh man, the drive thru here is terrible. We have a big truck so trying to cut that corner was no fun. Coffee was on point but Ill pass based on the tight turn.

I was excited to try this place. I saw the Lavender Bliss Lemonade on the menu and it was this beautiful bright lavender color and looked so mouth watering. But when i got it I was really disappointed, it looked just like water maybe dirty water. It wasnt even yellow like lemonade. I did like the taste wasnt bad but i didnt taste lavender or smell like it and definitely not purple in the least. I wouldnt pay almost $5 for that again!

Black Rock provides a relaxed coffee shop vibe and great customer service, but I just wish they offered a pour over or french press option like all the top notch coffee shops in the valley. Their coffee tastes great, but Im a big believer that a pour over is the best way to enjoy a cup of coffee. If you need a pick me up, and something to satisfy a sweet tooth, this is the place to go.

Love the crew that works here. Atmosphere is really chill and welcoming. Coffee always tastes great and bagels/pastries are bomb! My only problem, not a huge issue, but the Tuesday morning crew consistently gets my order wrong... I’m not stressed but just something they need to pay attention to.

Ive always had a great experience with this coffee shop. This morning in particular all the girls working were just so sweet and kind! I brought my dog and they treated her like royalty! I have been going to this location for a while and have always enjoyed their coffee and excellent customer service. Today was Awesome! I was in a rush and I think the manager(can’t remember her name but she is from Oregon) could tell I was in a rush. When i got to the counter and ordered, my drink was waiting for me. What I get is not easy to remember but she did. I know this may sound minor, but this made my day! I won’t go anywhere else. You guys Rock!!!!

They were closed to indoor seating, so we drove through and the drive-thru was weird and like connected to the other ones and we thought we were going to another place and confused that other driver but then we got in the right line and Nate was like this is only OK coffee not like mine and we were like whatever we want to drink it today so we continued through and ordered like 17 coffee drinks cause there were so many of us and then we went to the crazy chicken taco place and got the food for the ladies but we forgot to order nachos so we added it and Zac was like you can eat the tacos.And i got a Coconut Chai Blender drink.

My favorite coffee shop, actually a favorite of my whole family. This is a true 5 star rating every time. Its one of two locations we visit regularly, kids want to go all the time. Always consistent, excellent quality. Friendliest staff of any establishment we visit. Enjoy!
