Extra space storage in Bedford is AMAZING. We stored a lot of our belongings in a unit while we lived in an smaller apartment waiting for our new house to be built. Before renting the unit, I was hesitant about the idea of doing so, but the cleanliness of the premises, the fair prices, the extremely friendly and helpful on-site employees, and overall service was way above and beyond what I was expecting and I was extremely satisfied. Probably for three years, we stored our personal property in Extra Space Storage. Never have we worried about the safety. Not because the insurance was there, but because the management really took care of it. We would see them driving around when we were there. Besides, customer service has been extremely impressive. I have been with Extra Space Storage for a while and I just met Mr Gilchrease and he is a very nice and helpful and friendly.

Today, March 15, 2021, ZERO stars again!!! Thieves stole my 800 dollar catalytic convertor a couple of months ago, at Extra Space Storage. (Read below.) Nobody at Extra Space saw it. They have fencing and cameras but renters should not depend on those to protect your property. So, that was my loss.On March 7, 2021, I discovered my side window had been shattered on the same van. That will cost me 300 dollars to replace. Apparently, during the hard freeze, a limb fell from a nearby tree and shattered the glass. There were no tree limbs in the area 2 weeks after so I assume someone had cleaned up the area and had to walk right past the broken window. Nobody from Extra Space Storage bothered to notify me that my interior was being rained upon.This Extra Space Storage is located by the highway. In the year since Ive been renting a space there, Ive had many people follow me through the gate when Ive gone to check on my van. So, whats the purpose of the security gate? Obviously, not for security.For me, renting from Extra Space Storage has cost me more than rent!!If you want your belongings safe, skip this place!!I have pictures to support my assertions. Not just disgruntled.Previous post:No stars!!!I rent a reserved parking space for my van. Someone crawled under and stole my 800 dollar catalytic convertor!! They have cameras but no record of who did this!! No phone call. Not a safe place for storage!!! Stay away!! Update: I was invited to call the office and talk to a rep for Extra Space. I have done so and have not heard back. 1/7/2021. Update: I spoke to a representative from Extra Space. He was polite but offered no reasons for this post to be removed. The facility has barbed-wired fences and cameras. But if you want your valuables to be secure, find a more secure location, this location is NOT SECURE!!

Came here to use the service and it was okay. The gates were functional upon arrival and departure. I didnt have an issue with the key pad. The lighting at night is okay or well enough to be able to see where you are going to inside the facility. The unit door wasnt an issue to open and close.
