Both under the previous owner (recently passed) and even more under the new ownership their service is great. Everyone is helpful, they take the time to find just what you are looking for. They have a good selection and they are knowledgable and suggest what you need. They expanded the space and have even more items now.

A great place to go for all the little things needed for house and yard. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

After having been a customer of this store for over 15 years, the recent change in ownership is a very welcome change. The prices are more inline with big box, and they have a far wider variety of product. Now with Benjamin Moore paint yo top it off, and most importantly Tom is still there.Once all the renovations are complete, this place will be a massive asset to East Belmont and Cambridge Highlands.

Excellence deserves to be rewarded! Hillside Garden met and exceeded expectations. I bought a new Weber gas grill and experienced a helpful, kind support from the manager and staff. When I had questions and a difficulty with the propane tank, they delivered fast and personal attention. This is a family-owned business now run by different members of the family. They are friendly, responsive and dedicated to good service. Five stars and congratulations on doing a great job.

Newly rebranded, stunning setup. NEW SMOKER SECTION. A breath of fresh air. Great products including yeti and Benjamin Moore paint. The owner is always present and more then willing to help no matter how small the task. Manager Tom is incredibly knowledgeable and invested in his customers. You don’t get this kind of customer service and mom and pop experience at Home Depot.

Good classic hardware store. Hard to come by these days. Helpful staff. Have everything you need, especially fasteners. Way easier and convenient than wandering through a particular orange-themed supply store.

I have always used snap on tools in the past. My socket wrench was being serviced and I needed a quick fix. I went into this Ace Hardware and was blown away by the service. Troy (I believe he was the owner) took several minutes to explain the quality difference between craftsman tools. I purchased several tools per his recommendation and couldn’t be happier. Thanks Troy!! I will continue to come here and the future and highly recommend.

Great selection of grills and knowledgeable staff. I was in the market for a new Weber, but left with a Traeger instead; just found it to be a better grill for my needs. I was also happy that I didn’t have to rush my choice since my wife (who accompanied me) was glued to the yeti isle.

This is a super neighborhood hardware store -- ideal for the person (like me) who feels sick at the Home Despot[sic]. The sales people (esp Tom) are extremely helpful and friendly, and theyll carry that bag of sand out to your car.Today(April 20, 2021) Tom found me a Torx wrench to fit the unusual fastener on the back of an oscilloscope I was trying to fix. Try getting that kind of help at Home Despot.
