I like the ambiance. Drinks are ok. It would be better if I hadn’t gotten bitten twice by a mosquito inside their store.

The good was great and so was my shake! But the services.... No hello, no welcome, no nothing. It wasnt busy. Idk I guess I just like when you feel welcomed.

I just wish there was at least one adult working here. Nothing against teens working but they really don’t care about quality or messing up your order at all, they’re kids this job isn’t a make or break for them I get that.I ordered an espresso shot IN my shake, I got a shake and an espresso shot on the side. They tried to fix it but they didn’t do it correctly because my shake came out so runny and not what I’ve gotten before. $10 for a SMALL terrible shake and they literally just shrugged their shoulders and walked away when I asked if it was supposed to be like that or if I was even charged correctly.

Had an all juice dinner just now. Very refreshing yet healthy. Protein shake, Joes AMG, and something else. Light, refreshing, and filling and of course, still nutritious. Now onto ten hours of sleep!

Drip coffee taste more like an Americano. Pretty sure they gave me an Americano ... otherwise, if this is their filtered drip coffee, dont waste your time or money unless you really like McDonalds level of flavor.

Really cute spot to have a coffee/tea/juice date. Lots of seating inside, great decor/ambience.Little enjoyed the juice, I enjoyed a earl grey almond milk tea. You can purchase a drink card (example 10 drinks at a time, slightly discounted) if you go frequently. Would recommend going if you need a nice spot to hang with friends, non-juice drinks are good (but not super amazing).

Love this location! They always deliver and the staff is so kind; when I first came in one of the employees recommended I get the app for 50% off my order and not to be dramatic but it changed my lifeJoe’s club and the vegan shake are my go to, and sandwiches are always full and the shakes delicious :))(For anyone getting a drink: they use paper straws so I would recommend going to the Philz a couple doors to the right if you want to be able to drink your drink for more than five min haha)

The food was good but i got a to-go order of a gluten-free serrano sandwich and it’s UNCOMFORTABLY BRIGHT blue. i tried to call to asks what could have happened or if it would be safe to eat but they don’t have a number :((i posted a pic of the sandwich in photos so you can see it)not sure id eat here again...

I ordered a Vegan Avocado sandwich with chicken. That’s all. I came in to pick up my lunch and patiently waited on the side until the sandwich was ready. From the moment I walked in, all three teenagers/employees gave me death stares. They didn’t greet me, I was cut off while asking a question, and they were extremely passive aggressive to me the entire time. I had no idea why. Then, another teenager walked in and they all started laughing and talking to her very kindly. I finally got my sandwich and said thank you. Dead silence. Radio silence. I don’t want to make assumptions but I can’t help but wonder if they didn’t like me because I am a black woman and Bethesda Row is a predominantly white, affluent area. The service was disappointing to say the least and it’s a shame because I do like the food/products. Also - the fact that I can’t call a customer service number and talk to a manager is annoying as well. Just in case a manager does read this, I came in on Tuesday, July 13th around 1pm.

Acai bowl was horrible. Zero sweet, all taste of plant milk cashew. Went back to the counter. The guy didnt care...refused to exchange for something else. Trashed the acai bowlWont be back. Thanks for the 10 dollar waste

Great service. Great atmosphere. Food was okay. I got an açaí bowl and strawberry shake. Açaí bowl was good but small in size. Shake was very sweet and just mediocre. I wouldn’t recommend the items I ordered. Maybe the Joe is better?

Açaí bowl is not worth the price. Small, weird/watery consistency, and cannot taste the açaí.

The prices are a little steep, $4.27 for a ginger shot (that included a 15% tip), but its Bethesda, what do you expect? Lots of great seating and free wifi. A cool place to read a book, surf the net or just enjoy some conversation.

I cannot get enough of this place. The food is great. My favs are the spicy tuna sandwich (add avocado) and the Joe’s green mile. Both are consistently delicious. The guys behind the juice bar are very sweet and accommodating.The juices are good too, but I’m there for the smoothie!It’s also a wonderful work space or chill spot, especially if you want a calm zen environment. I wish there were more locations. North Bethesda would be great!!

Man I love this place. Their juices make me feel great and the sandwiches are awesome too. They use this crispy bread and its amazing. Ive tried the Energizer and Im actually starting to like ginger. I felt pretty energized and theres no caffeine or anything in there! Super cool. Its pricey but I still love it. Haha!

The smoothies were delicious! The staff made great recommendations and were very friendly. The only (maybe silly) reason why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was that I think my smoothie ended up with some kiwi fuzz in it. I would cough occasionally after a sip as though something was tickling my throat. Did I still drink it? Yes! Was it still delicious? Yep!

One of our families favorite places to visit when in Copenhagen and delighted to have it locally now. Fantastic sandwiches, blended juices, and coffees. Servers are friendly and helpful.They have done a solid job with the space offering some counter space in the center and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.There are outlets around the exterior. Would have been nice if there were outlets in the center counter area.

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. This was our first time here. I was feeling under the weather so they recommended the herb smoothie. It tasted healthy and delicious at the same time. It was surprisingly good. I did feel a bit better afterwards as well. The drinks here are very pricey though. I think mine was $10.Their website is less informative than it should be.

Not a huge fan. Sure its fancy plupy juice but it takes a while to get even when its not busy and its quite expensive. The environment is a little too open for a coffee place.

A danish juice bar in the heart of bethesda

I ordered a small Choco shake and it was not cold at all, I had to ask the barista to add ice and he kindly put my shake back in the blender with some ice, which ended up being slightly colder. The total price was $7.42 and I think its overpriced for the small sized shake. Also there was no AC and the heat inside the store was unbearable; my friend asked the cashier why was that and he said the AC is broken and theyre waiting for it to be fixed. The barista was having a rough time doing all those shakes in a rush with that unreasonable temperature. Those are not proper working conditions for your employees. One last thing, the barista was African American and the cashier was white; the cashier seemed too relaxed while the barista seemed to be working on a constant rush. From an HR perspective, I think theres room for improvement.

I am addicted to the Green Shield juice and spicy tuna sandwich here! I have it at least twice a week for lunch. All the sandwiches are good and taste very wholesome, yet with good flavor. My favorite part is the crunchy flatbread. Somehow they have mastered making it ultra crispy yet not crumbling apart and does not get soggy from the ingredients in the sandwich. The green shield juice is packed with vegetables and I am able to skip my usually salad for lunch and still be able to get 2 full servings of vegetables. I especially love this juice because it is so tasty without having added fat or calories from ingredients like avocado, nut milk, or banana, like many other green juices.My only complaint is the price! Lunch of sandwich+green juice in order to get a well-rounded meal, costs a total of $20! Which is double the cost of a usual lunch with sandwich and a side salad...If Joe and the Juice offered a 1/2 sandwich, 1/2 size green Shield juice for a lower price, I would eat it everyday!

This place has great coffee and juice options (try the ginger shot), wonderful atmosphere, and the music really adds to the experience without being invasive (the music is kind of uplifting and jazzy, perfect for a cafe). AND its a big place with plenty of seating, so you call relax and enjoy it without having to fight for space.

I tried their ginger latte per a recommendation from a friend, it was definitely tasty but dont drink the bottom, found that out the hard way! I will say...although the ambience is cool/hip, all of their veggies and fruit are precut and uncovered and thus start to oxidize and honestly looked unappetizing. Id try another coffee though.

A nice, clean, urban aesthetic. Friendly staff (they even took a tumeric shot with me) and overall an enjoyable place. A little pricey compared to what Im used to but this is in a city.

Turns out the Serrano sandwich is not Serrano pepper. It’s Serrano ham but it wasn’t specified on the menu. I explained to the barista that I can’t have meat and he replaced it for me, no questions asked. He was nice for that and the food, coffee, and juice were decent but so overpriced. Probably would not go there again by choice.

I love Joe & the Juice coffee and I’m glad this location exists. The cold brew coffee is really good with a splash of vanilla milk. The espresso shake is also really good.

I enjoy the drinks and the food (its on the expensive side but I think its justified), and the decor is cool. Ive had both phenomenal and really terrible service. The space itself is not good for conversation or study/work. The music is SUPER loud, the temperature is either sweltering or freezing, and the various forms of seating are small and cramped.Id definitely say it is worth trying out (particularly if you want something to-go or quick), but I like to stay in once place for a few hours. If you are like me I wouldnt recommend at all.

Cafe logo was attention grabbing. Interior was alright - I thought the tables and chairs were way too clustered. But for a cafe who serves coffee, I was not able to smell any coffee bean scents lingering around the store which is always one of good alerts for me to tell apart cafes that have fresh and good coffee.

The juice and Joe were great... the sandwich I never got because the bread kept sticking to the panini press.

I went today for my second time and the coffee is still way over-priced and just ok. Its probably more of a juice place. For juice lovers - the staff is really nice and the atmosphere is modern and fun so those are great reasons to try Joe & The Juice!

Me and a friend spent 2 hours there. The music was TERRIBLE. A non stop techno mix that put a damper on our stay. We moved to other side of room because of frigid temperature. One bathroom sink was filthy so went to second one to wash hands and it was more filthy. The staff member told people who were still eating they were closing in 4 minutes. There was no, take your time finishing up etc. I like this place because of the atmosphere and vibe. But it was a complete fail yesterday. Will give it one more shot though.

We got a couple juices and were disappointed that there was ice lightly blended into then. These werent smoothies, just regular juices. While they were cold and refreshing, they were very watered down tasting.

I love this place they have great tasting juices, and delisious sandwiches (tuna is my favorite!). They also sell coffee (I havent tried).

The juice was ok but this place is way overpriced for what you get. If you look at the ingredients, most of them are pretty inexpensive in their own so i cant justify paying nearly $10 for a glass of juice!
