Im from NJ but have been living in PA for 4 years now. I have been traveling back and forth to NJ to get my hair braided whenever I want it done. I received in my mail slot a flyer for this salon and decided to try them out. I must say Christina did a phenomenal job on my braids! They are neat and not tight...AND IT ONLY TOOK HER 3 HOURS!!!! Not to mention she was very professional, friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning to this salon for braids and other services, as she does it all.

It’s the best thing I’ve had for my hair in such a long time. I use it every time I wash my hair and my hair has had amazing growth since I’ve been using it. Highly recommended. All natural whipped butter 10/10.

I went to this salon for large knotless braids, I was highly disappointed. After only one full day some of my braids were slipping out. I’m not sure if it’s the braiding method she used, but I was shocked. I’ve gotten this style before and never had this problem. So I messaged the stylist to let her know so she could fix it for me, she said i would have to pay a re-braiding fee of $65 depending on how many braids I wanted fixed. Ridiculous. I would not go back or recommend this place to anyone.

Throughout the years that I’ve lived in Bethlehem, I have went through many stylists before finding Christina and her salon through a friend referring me. Since 2019, I have been going consistently to her for my hair. I literally get all my hair services done through them whether it’s my natural hair, braiding, locs, or wigs. I’m never afraid to try a new hairstyle because I know they got me. And the complimentary wash at no additional charge is nice as well because lord knows I don’t always have time to do it myself. Overall, just a very professional shop with a laid back vibe and nice atmosphere.

There are very few natural hair places in this area, so I came here in hopes they would know what they’re doing. I very rarely go to salons because I don’t trust anybody enough to allow them to put their hands in my hair. To make a long story short, the hair dresser ripped out a lot of my hair and was really aggressive. Later on when I tried to get through my hair myself, a lot of it ended up falling out.I’ve been natural for years, and I can’t even express how upset I was when I realized how much damage was done. I talked to some of my other friends who have been here before, and they said they went through a similar experience.If you don’t care about having your hair ripped out at the hands of an aggressive stylist, this salon is for you. Otherwise, don’t bother going and save yourself the aggravation and sadness.

Great place to get your Locs done. I highly recommend Crowned by Cj and Co. I have had my dreads for 5 years, and went to many different locticians. But nobody can compare to Crowned by Cj and Co. They offer great pricing and do a wonderful job. Not to mention they have a very clean environment!

My girlfriend went here & got her hair done. After about 2 days the hair was coming out and she texted the lady Janae Tabb and she still till this day hasn’t responded. It’s so disrespectful because my girlfriend left her a tip and everything. After her hair came out she looked up on YouTube how to fix it, and found the SAME way Janae did her hair. She will never get her hair done there again because of the lack of customer service and just courtesy. DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR BY JANAE TABB ! Her work can be supplemented by YouTube hair tutorial videos !

Real nice place and all around great experience from wash to braiding to being great company and stylist. Definitely best stylist I’ve come across in a long time. Always leave happy and completely satisfied. Definitely recommend!

From a silk press on natural hair with a trim to a custom color, trim, and a rod set, Christina does an AMAZING job. My hair ALWAYS comes out PERFECT and I never experience heat damage which is EXTREMELY important to me! My natural hair is still healthy and flourishing because of Christina. She is the ONLY person that has touched my hair in Pennsylvania since Ive lived here. I HIGHLY recommend getting your hair CROWNED by CJ & CO!

Yesterday, I finally came to my senses and realized I needed a protective style for the summer. Being the indecisive person that I am, I probably texted Christina, the owner, at least ten different times asking her numerous questions. Finally, I decided on the jumbo box braids! BEST DECISION EVER. She was super professional and it only took about 4.5hours! The shop is cozy, and I felt at home. I highly recommend giving this shop a try. You will not be disappointed.

I’ve been getting my hair done by Crowned by CJ and CO for years now. Christina, the owner, is the ONLY person that I allow to touch my hair. She is hands down the best in the Lehigh Valley! She is amazing at what she does! I highly recommend getting your hair done by her! She will not disappoint!
