The staff was very unfriendly and their tone of voice wasnt very welcoming. We spent over £50 for a family of 4 and it wasnt worth the price. Ordered a vegetarian crepe and it was basically a crepe with rocket. I could barely taste the other ingredients.I came few years ago and it was much nicer. Ill definitely not come back again.
Little hole in the wall place with a nice vibe. Staff was, shall we say, reserved. It was a very busy Saturday in Covent Garden. The crepes were decent, a mix of sweet and savory. I had the strawberry, cream, and crunch (like a streusel topping). It was good if nothing special. The milk shake was tasty.
Cute place with a good atmosphere and a fun menu! Their food is great, their prices are alright for the area, and the staff is very helpful and friendly as well. Will definitely visit again.
Nice place to visit for a quick dessert. Unfortunately you can sit here for long as the setting/chairs do not motivate you to stay over 35-45 minutes. Was a bit surprised /disappointed when i asked to change one ingredient in my crepe and the fee for that was almost 2£. (The default crepe on the menu was Nutella, White Chocolate, Strawberries and Cream. I wanted to replace the cream with biscuit and it was going to cost an additional 2£, so clearly i simply said thank you but just dont add the cream) Staff could be nicer and more flexible with customers preferences.
I am really sorry but I have to comment here a negative feedback. First of all we didnt feel welcome there. Lets say only one sweet waitress was nice but a bit lost as wasnt any team work there. Second, is important to say that we felt unwell after we had crepes, plus that they confused with the ingredients and the put an ice cream on the wrong crepe. Third, One of the staff was rough with one if my friends.Apart from that the place is decorated nicely. I hope this feedback question you what is going one with the management and kitchen preparation!! Thanks.
Manager spoke condescendingly to a member of staff in front of me; then was annoyed at me asking what type of chocolate the chocolate beans were (he decided it was easier to show me them, they were Milky Bar Buttons). No milk chocolate sauce available. We ended up leaving without ordering. I hope the manager was just having a bad day and this was a one-off.
We just had our breakfast and it was so delicious that we couldnt stop, had to order one more. The Crepes are amazing, the coffee was very good as well and the ladies behind the counter very friendly. Definitely will be coming back!
Delicious crepes apple crumble was really yummy. Crepe not too thin or thick just perfect and cooked very well. Staff friendly and polite. Great service and food
What a truly aweful experience. Their crepes must be microwaved as I have never seen crepes with this much crust. The crumbles in the filling tasted stale. Both my kids felt unwell after eating here. Make your own conclusions but we certainly wont be back
Really recommend - crepes tasted amazing, we had the lady loves and the banoffee one. Attentive, friendly service. Great place for a hot drink and something sweet, will definitely go again next time were in London.
Repeat visit to this underground eatery in Covent Garden. Would recommend if you like pancakes.
Delicious Crepe but bit overpriced in my opinion. They were stingy on fruit topping too. Great location though and place was clean 😀
Really nice little place, has some seats inside and some outside in the courtyard. Theres plenty of choice and the pancakes themselves were very nice.
The food was good, i went there with a couple of friends, we had an amazing time. The staff really friendly which is very good.
I went to crème de la crêpe on a sunny day to have a nice family time and it was the perfect spot for that ! The crepes were amazing, we absolutely loved it ! My favorite one was buffalo bill which I strongly recommend as a savoury crepe !! I also fell in love with the Oh my God crepe which is a sweet nutell crepe worth the journey there 😍😍There is a great atmosphere to this place and this is all thanks to the friendly and beautiful staff ! I will definitely come back
Atmosphere was amazing. Staff were beautiful and amazing. Very welcoming and loved the live entertainment from their singing 😂😂
We took a chance at this place and I must say it was worth it having not read any review. The location is cozy and was ideal for my friend and I. And the vibe from the staff was amazing ( we did see you busting those afrohouse moves on a Friday morning no less).Food wise, the quality was good. We ordered three crepes- Dirty Harry, Buffaol Bill and Cheeky Love. Lots of nutella and strawberry on the latter which is excellent for those sweet tooth conessiurs.Watch your head in there if you are very tall.
Lovely place. Perfect to have a special treat on a Sunday. Staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Do not miss the Italian Job and for desert get the OMG!. Definitely going back next weekend.
Great location and very friendly staff. Quick service. Delicious flat white and good crepes. We had the lemony one- next time I’ll go for the banana Nutella.
Very friendly staff members Take your Order and bring your Drinks and good to The Table. There are Tables inside and Outside of The Restaurant, but also The Outside seats are inside The covent Market. Ists also possible to Take away. The Crepes and The milshake taste great and freshly Made. Highly recommend this place to people with a sweet tooth.
Was lovely, great coffee, milkshake and crêpes!
Ok, if you look at the photos before the reviews then you may miss out on some of the finest Crêpes in London ... they don’t look that amazing and the “crockery” & plastic cutlery more fast food takeaway than scrumptious sit down service. But what you get is light & thin shells encasing all manner of delicious ingredients! The only disappointment is the Flat Whites were merely ok ... nonetheless still deserving of a full 5🌟PS - the brown sugar added to the simpler sweet crêpes is a genius move - adds the most fantastic texture and subtle flavour ... although if you’ve not got a serous sweet tooth then I recommend asking them to add just a light sprinkle as this will still add the welcome texture but not overpower any delicate flavours of the pancake itself 👌🏼Will definitely return ... lots more variations to try 😋
Do order ice cream with your crepes otherwise is really dry
Ordered a basic Nutella crepe. Very over priced, I paid £5.25 and £2 for bottled water. Crepe was very basic and could’ve at least added icing sugar or be more generous with the Nutella. Also, the crepe texture was brittle and so uncomfortable to eat. Definitely very overpriced and not worth the crepe.
Super great service! One of the only places to get crepes where I can sit down. Amazing crepes, a great place to grab lunch in the heart of Covent Gardens.
What a joke! 10 pounds for 2 cremes. Ordered together, as a take away. Received one 5 minutes after Ive paid and the second one god knows how many minutes later, WITH OTHER PEOPLE BEING SERVED EVEN IF IVE ORDERED FIRST.Eventually I was served by a blonde ungroomed guy that was shouting numbers. Order numbers. Asked for a take away bag and Ive been given this tiny paper sox. Use your brain guys! Your useless bags cant accommodate your products horizontally, as it should, nor vertically! REALLY DISAPPOINTED. I REGRET PAYING FOR THIS AND IM SO BLOODY FURIOUS THAT I DONT EVEN FEEL LIKE TRYING IT ANYMORE.
Delicious crepes. OMG is the best. Very goo coffee and the Oreo milkshake was delicious. Staff were very warm, kind and patient. The guy has handled pretty well a situation with some bossy and rude group of woman. There was no waiting time. Tables were getting cleaned and he hasn’t refused to do it neither was rude as they said in the previous 1 star review. I was going to give a 5 stars but I have to be fair. I would give 10 stars if I could. Unfortunately people lie about their experience. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely come back next week with my family. I got the loyalty card now. 8 more crepes to go!
Really good savoury pancake (Dirty Harry) . Sassy cider highly recommended. Quiet, safe, clean, friendly, outside but inside !. Give it a try.
Had sweet pancakes here and they were meh. Not up to french standards Im afraid.Updated for more detail as requested: The crepe batter itself was a bit too thick for my liking, didnt have the typical crêpe flavour, and the edges werent thin and crispy... I had the lemon crêpe and the lemon to sugar ratio was way off, it was swimming in sour lemon juice.
Great food and staff!!!
What an amazing experience! Staff were very friendly and kind. We made our own recipe crepe. The hot chocolate with whipped cream was delicious. Merry xmas to all!
The crepe was amazing, very tasty great size and very generous with the ingredients. The place is very cossy. The only thing was the fact there were no toilets and when I went, 26/02/2020 at 5 30 pm the waiters were very unfriendly and the treatment with customers was horrible. Like dont annoy me too much 0 energies very bad mood. I think you should find people with more social skills cos the place was great and this treatment destroyed my experience a lot
Highly recommend it. I had a brunch with my family. Crepes very tasty, coffees and smoothies were delicious with very funny names. They haven’t got the one I wanted, Passion Shoot (I love mango) but they recommend me a very good one, Sun of Peach. All the crepe names are very creative too. Guys were very friendly. 🥰
Delicious French style crepes and really nice place and service in Coven Gardens. Highly recommend
My wife and I went to the shop on Saturday evening. The staff were very friendly and patience. We arrive by the time they were about to stop serving. We had Savoury and Sweet crepes. They have so many great options. With white wine is a perfect combination. We will be back soon.
Tasteless crêpes. Ordered one with dark chocolate and strawberries and it was very bitter + strawberries tasted ‘old’. Very pricey as well.
The most delicious savoury and sweet crepes...I had the vegan savoury, it was just heaven on a plate. Awesome Customer Service. Will be going back for certain. My five friends all had different types and they were all great crepes!!! Price was reasonable, nice and cosy place.
I went this morning for a breakfast to this very small and busy creperie. The manager was on his own, he was very patient and he did an amazing service. I will recommend it to the guys at the office. I had Beans Brunch Crepe and Cappuccino. Everything very tasty. I will come back soon.Five stars!!!
Fantastic crepes and hot chocolate with cream but the waitress somehow managed to get the tea order wrong @_@. Still, I will defo go there again when Im in the vicinity.
We went there by chance and I was craving for crepes. Service was really bad, it felt like we were not welcome. I ordered the apple cinnamon crepe and the crepe was cold (I could tell it was already pre-made) and very dry :( the chocolate milkshake was ok, hence the 2 stars. But it was very pricey for the -lack- of quality of the food. Will not come back :(
A tiny creperie with very pink decor. Great crepes and creative filling combinations. A nice way to end a date night with my wife.
The staff are nice. The savory pancakes are pretty good. They have nice cider but its all a bit pricey & they have no loo. You have to use a public one that costs £1
A nice place, the crepes tasted good. But its not as whao as I have anticipated. Good enough but nothing out of the ordinary.
Excellent crepes and prices. Very cozy and clean. Staff was very friendly and got our food very quickly. Only problem is very easy to miss. I would definitively recommended it and if one day we are back in London will definitely go back. And dont be a pancake. Lol
Great selection of crêpes to choose from. Made fresh, fast and very tasty. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.
Took 30 minutes to “make” two crepes, wasn’t even busy. Not made fresh unlike competitor down road. Both distinctly average taste, could’ve made better ourselves given how long it took.
Its quite a small place but cosy and aromatic with the délicieux smell from all the pancakes making at the store. Should try when you crave for something sweet but warm.
I am particular about my crêpe. I made an effort to come to this place thinking I could get a good one. unfortunately, their crêpes were pre-made all stacked up in a high pile. They slapped on the ingredients and served them barely warm. Any crêperie food truck would have done a much better and decent job.
Good service, lovely setting, and the food tasted great and fresh!
Only 2 people working so felt busier than it wasHad to wait a little while. Not much space. Staff friendly and helpful
This is one of my local favourites for lunch, a light dinner, or a delicious dessert. Friendly staff, great homemade pancakes, scrumptious and savoury crepes served in an unpretentious, simple setting will keep me coming back! The chocolate banana crepe is to die for. They have a nice selection of breads, pastries and desserts. Ive enjoyed the food, as well as the coffee. Very welcoming, friendly and accommodating service and a cozy like home atmosphere. Crepes worth coming back.
Lovely place. Nice little cosy place serving great food at reasonable prices. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Some of the best crepes Ive ever had and would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone.
Place was very small, limited seatings inside. very tight. couldnt enjoy it.crepe was very very average and below. the strawberry wasnt fresh, couldnt grap it with the wooden fork beacuse they were melty and soooft. chocolate looked like mixed with water. but the crepe mix itself was nice and light. coffee was nice and yum.
The staff was very nice and patient. The service was fast and the crêpes were delicious too. Overall it was a great experience.
Very good crepes. Thanks for reopening!
So tasty and friendly staff recommend to anyone visit Covent Garden
Really unhappy- paid a lot for 2 crepes and they had barely any filling - half the crepe was plain! There was barely half a teaspoon of sauce on a tiny section of the crepe. I didnt find it tasty at all. It seemed undercooked.Such a shame.
This is a really quite small place in Covent Garden and as such can get quite busy. There is limited seating and the ceiling is low - be careful if you are tall! The crepes are good with lots of flavours to choose from, although being London/Covent Garden, prices are a bit high. Service is good and quick though and the children liked it.
Great experience. Good food and very friendly staff.A nice place to chill on the Covent Garden area.
Amazing pancakes and great service! I was very satisfied
Looking for a fairly priced lunch? Or maybe just a yummy snack? Found in the midst of all the cozy shops in Covent Garden, Crème de la Crêpe will fill your needs! Sorting from Vegetarian to Meaty, Filling to appetizing, their Crêpes are all in all amazing! Strongly recommended!
Very disappointed with their customer service. Awful manners from the staff, we asked to clean the table and the guy said wait with a very bad manner. The service was too slow too. Don’t recommend this place at all.
Food was good.Service a little slow.Nice atmosphere
Yummy crepes in Covent Garden. Service was quite fast - I waited about 10 mins for my order (there were about 10 people in front of me). They managed to keep service top notch even on Pancake Day. I don’t really have any complaints about this place! The ham, cheese & rocket crepe was delicious.
Great ambience - great pancakes! Win win
Have been here several times the last years, always thoroughly enjoy it! Piggy that went to the market is still my favourite 😊
Visited with a party of 20 people last Tuesday before going to see Matilda. Perfect location for a light and tasty meal. Especially the vegetarian options are great. Really quick and friendly service by Katy and Francine. Maybe not the cheapest place in town, but hey.....its worth it.It took me a while to book the seats but Bruno the manager proved a great help.We will certaonly be back next time!Jeannet van EverdingenRotterdamThe Netherlands
Great crepes, with a different touch. Unique flavours in a great setting. Fresh produce and I love the organic, recyclable feel to the place. Nice layout, a good design. My favourite is the Buffalo Bill, the Franks Hot Sauce... OMG!!!!
Very nice crepes and a lot of flavours to choose from. But the portions are very small. Probably a good size for dessert after a meal elsewhere.
Reasonably priced crepes and friendly staff.
Everytime i visited london, this is the place we will go to. The crepe is the best so far we hv tasted. Will come back again and again and again...
Though the crepe itself here was outstanding, the actual decor and location of the place were less appealing. It is on the lower floor of the Covent Garden piazza with uninviting seating
Staff were very rude and didn’t look like they wanted to be there. service was terrible the waiter bringing our crepes basically dropped them on our table, the crepes weren’t freshly made giving them a stale taste despite the toppings being quite the waiters are watching you while you eat and before I could put my cutlery down to finish they were at the table to take our items away making my partner and I semi forced out. very unhappy with it all considering the price we paid for a dinky little store
I agree with the reviews of unfriendly staff, but the food was great here.I feel like people are saying the food is bad just because they didn’t like the service.I’d definitely go here again or tell a friend about this place.
Sweet Nutella crepe, real Nutella just like the Italian ones.
Amazing crepes and good coffee.I have been here a few times now and was always happy.Recommended.
Good crêpes, but too thick compared to French crêpes. While the desert one leave nothing left to be desired, I will note that the savoury ones could do with less grease and less strong flavours. This could help balance the flavours somewhat, as the freshest versions are the vegetarian crêpes. Even they can succumb to flavours too strong if youve got pesto with it.
Nice place, amazing food and 5 stars staff! Definitely recommend it!
