The food I bought was pre-made and in a warmer so maybe fresh made is a better experience.The items I bought were cold, according to the slip they were sitting for about 2hrs, still full price though.The prices are cheap but not totally unreasonable, had the food been fresh and hot it probably would have been worth the money.I will try ordering something next time and hope for a better result. I have talked to others that enjoy their food so its worth giving them another chance.

The last time I’ve been to a place so trashy was when I went to Oscar the Grouches house. It’s looked like nobodies clean with raw meat out.

We ordered two pizzas last night and they were delicious! The place is under new management as of November 2020 and the new crew is so helpful. We live in GRB and it was so much more convenient than going all the way into town! Highly recommend this place!

Just got the most bomb meatball sub. So good! The new renovation and new cook really changed this place!

UNE student here so I live less than a mile from this establishment . used to be to fire now it sucks wicked bad. Who closes their kitchen at 6 o clock? seems like no one wants to make money here. I wish me and my boys could run this place we’d turn it around so fast. Time to sell the Star.

The owner would not serve us breakfast sandwiches past 1030am. There was no one is the store and he wasn’t doing anything. It seems the owner takes pleasure in denying people food.

How do you make food and serve food without a mask during a pandemic??? I’ll gladly change my review if next time I go in employee are in the proper PPE

Sea Star used to be great - decent food, good portions, nice people. And the best chicken salad sandwich around. With this new owner, their sandwich contains only about 3 spoonfuls of chicken salad and a lot of inferior bread. Truly awful and a terrible value. And to cap it off, the sandwiches used to be wrapped in paper - now they’re in the kind of plastic container that lives forever in the landfill. I will not patronize this place again, even though I live three miles away.

Very accommodating and friendly.The kitchen was closed and the nice young lady owner opened it and made some delicious sandwiches.

New owner is turning this place around . Took a little bit but the staff is now super friendly and food is making a come back . Definitely worth it to stop in !

THEY OPENED THE OVEN, AND A MOUSE CAME OUT, AND THEY STARTED HITTING IT WITH A SPATULA. AND AFTER THEY SERVED ME WITH THE SAME SPATULA AND DIDNT CLEAN IT. GREAT SHOW, I LOVED IT. 10/10 RECCOMEND

One of the worst experiences I have had. It felt like I was in a situation where the mother was running around yelling at the people that work there rather than taking care of the customers. I had hoped my sandwich might be good but it was awful.I tried it and will not go back

I normally love the sandwiches but today was not good at all. The two ladies behind the counter were very rude and 2 out of our 4 sandwiches were made wrong and they forgot all about making one of them. I was there for the duration of them making our sandwiches and they were not busy so there is no excuse for this poor service. I also know that I paid xtra to add some things to our sandwiches (aka bacon) and guess what...no bacon! Thanks ladies!

We went to Star Market twice today. Too bad we didn’t learn on the first trip. First off the women working there is absolutely the rudest person we have ever dealt with (If you don’t like your job leave) we ordered 6 sandwiches and 3 out of the six were wrong....no bacon, no teriyaki mayo. Don’t advertise it if it’s not going to be made that way!! You leave the order sitting there and we need to ask if it’s ready and then pack it up our selfs. People run far far away from this store for breakfast and lunch sandwich’s and get rid of the witch!!!

I understand this place offers a lot if a small space and in an area where there is not much within a 10-15 min drive. It is convenient. We have found the subs to be good but nothing special; good for bringing to the beach. The inside layout is crazy and unorganized. I was not sure where to place my order or where to pick it up once ready. By the end my order was sitting on the counter and already ready. The iced coffee scenario is also bizarre as we were directed to block of ice that needed to be broken up; pretty sure many peoples hands had been inside the bag of ice. Not sure I will be back.

Loved going to this place as a kid... was our go-to when we didnt feel like cooking. Cant stand this place now due to the unprofessional customer service (especially by the new owner!!!) Try to avoid at ALL COSTS.

Good place to get gas.Food is barely equivalent to elementary school cafeteria food. If you love soggy undercooked pizza this is your place.

Stopped in to pick up a small container (pint)heavy cream $6.50. Small 13 ounce container of Nutella $7.00. Lessons learned.

My friends and I order Seastar every once and a while. It seems as though every other time we call the frilator is off (at 6pm??) or they are unbelieveibly rude. They have put my friend on hold and continued to talk poorly about her while we can still hear them. And another time my friends and I made 3 seperate phone orders to make it easier to pay and they refused to deliver to the last person to call because her order was only $11 when one of the other people who ordered, bought the same thing. Now, tonight, they didnt cook my calzone all the way through and Im honestly feeling ill after taking 3 bites. NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN.

The subs are good!! Just paid almost 6.00$ for a gallon of milk, way to rip off people...especially the students at UNE. ***holes!

2017: Good options for food. Pretty expensive though since its the only convience store right next to campus and the only store on rt 9 between cape porpoise and down town biddeford. Gas is also 10 cents higher and most items have upcharges. Times on the website are pretty unreliable2021: this place is still the worst. Friendly update from someone who went to UNE and now lives local. I avoid this place as much as I can but sometimes I need gas quick
