This store seems like its in transition of a remodel. Floors are ripped up and filled in with polyurethane in several places, a lot of blue tape on the floor marking where structures should be. Still they managed to keep the store clean and easy to navigate. I cant wait to see what it looks like when its done.

We are from PA and this store was much nicer than our grocery stores. Clean wide aisles - shelves stocked . Great bakery dept. Love that they dont use plastic bags - PA needs to start doing that.

Always has everything that I need at great prices

My go to place for vegan food (Im vegan, ny boyfriend isnt). They have an awesome selection. Produce is normally very good. They are redoing the floors or something right now so the store is a bit hectic and tough to find things (theyre moving everything around) but that will end eventually. I also love self checkout, Ive never had an issue with theres and I look up a lot of fruit and veggies!

The work is done and both entrances are open again. Still isnt any can juices yet but there working as fast as possible to get everything back in stock.There is always plenty of choices and always great prices, the employees are friendly and always willing to help

Really good authentic taqueria. Prices are reasonable enough to try several items. I had 3 tacos. Beef, pork and chicken. All were delicious.

The shelves are always empty in the ice cream aisle. Why is that? 😂 Thank heavens Market Basket is always stocked.

Easy to find what you need. Aisles are clear of kiosks. Reasonable prices overall. Fresh produce. Butcher shop is great. Deli has limited but good selection. Lots of parking and access from two streets!

Subpar quality control in the produce department. I often find myself picking through moldy/spoiled produce.Probably the worst aspect to this specific Hannaford is lack of consciousness with bagging. Heavy items on top of light items. Who bags milk and creamer with bread?.......there is a lack of oversight with this for certain. And it cost the consumer in wasted food.

I bought groceries. It was great. Surprise surprise, the supermarket had groceries.

This is where I get my organic sweet potatoes for my pet squirrel, along with some spring mix veggies. The potatoes arent always in the best shape, same with the spring mix, but its still in date.

Close to home, has all the things i need right there. Employees are so sweet and above all, Patient!!! Prices are great and im always looking for bargains, so i buy alot of the Hannaford brands. Hannaford is the #1 supermarket and pharmacy in my world. Shop there regularly, Love It 💖💖💖

We love Hannaford Supermarkets. They are always clean and organized. Fresh baked goods, meats, produce, seafood and dairy. Friendly, helpful, well trained employees. Quick moving lines at checkout.

Why are you guys always low on product? I have been to other locations and I always find an abundance of product. This location is always hit and miss. The dairy case, for instance, is always less then half full. Come on guys.

I try to go to Saco Hannaford, but today I went to Biddeford. It was confirmed why I go to Saco. No options at entrance at right to wipe down your own cart. What looked like a manager at that entrance told me there are some wipes at the other door. Thats not good enough, sir. That is usually the exit. I felt unsafe for sure.

This Hannaford store keeps up well with the cleanliness of its store; from cashiers, baggers, and supervisors I have always treated in a respectful manner. As a senior citizen I applaud the attitudes and willingness to assist me with bringing my groceries to my vechcial, when I need a helping hand. The best is that the staff at this Biddeford store are always smiling and we all can use a bright smile during our troubled time.

I have nothing bad to say about this Hannaford. The layout makes a lot of sense, and its actually fun to simply walk around while going in for just a couple dinner items!The cashiers are nice and perform their jobs well, too.Thank you, cashiers. :)

My first time in this particular Hannaford. I was able to find what I needed easy enough, even managed to find some things I havent seen elsewhere. The deli staff was friendly and helpful. I like the prices and store layout of market basket better but they were closed. Im happy I went into this store either way and Im sure I will return.

I like Hannaford. I like their layout of the store and that their isles are fairly wide so its not a feeling of congestion like Market Basket. You also dont have to wait in line for 20 minutes at the deli like Market Basket.There prices are not as low as Market Basket but much lower than Shaws. I still dont know how Shaws supermarket remains in business! The other thing I like at Hannaford is the self checkout option. I find the meats and seafood to be of better quality than both Market Basket as well as Shaws. They also offer items that I like that are not available at other stores. I would give Hannaford 5 stars if their prices were as low as Market Basket but I will admit there are times that I am willing to pay a little more to avoid the smaller isles and crowds at Market Basket. Its a much more relaxed environment at Hannaford. You dont feel like your holding up traffic when youre comparing items. This is one thing I dislike about Market Basket.

HANNAFORD has a great deli selection, their bakery is one of my favorites, very fresh sea food they check temps of the fresh sea food alot. Fresh vegetables and fruit. They do also have very fresh Roses and other flowers. Some seeds for gardening and some gardening supplies. Produce is well kept as is the store. Bathrooms are clean as well. This store is big and very clean. They are also covid friendly meaning they clean the carts after every use. Ask that we wear masks I have witnessed them stop some from going into store till they have a clean cart. I like that.

I have enjoyed shopping at Hannaford Brothers Supermarket for years. The town I live in right now and for the past 5 years search their location within a mile of my house and I shop there almost on a daily basis and will continue to do so.

Good quality foods with a great selection but definitely overpriced. About 50/50 on overall friendliness of the staff. Cleanliness is par for the course.

Shelves were not well stocked, tho Im sure a sign of the pandemic. Too many people and not much space to get by near the registers.I didnt feel safe waiting so left without my groceries :(

In these troubling times remember everyone is trying and in this together, stay kind, show respect while shopping, if you do something that is not correct right now, its ok, just do better when you know better. Be kind, the store personal are there, the truck drivers are there, appreciate it....it may not always be that, the future is always unknown, so again, be kind.

Fresh food and decent prices

Hometown atmosphere with fresh produce, variety and reasonable prices. Clean, friendly and pleasant.

Although I love the staff at the Biddeford location, Hannaford does not enforce face coverings! Customers walking all directions without masks, and employees wearing masks incorrectly under the nose. I had to ask my bagger to pull up her covering while bagging my groceries. After shopping today, I spoke with a supervisor at my local store and was told that corporate hasnt made a decision on this and that, at this time, they are being told not to enforce the wearing of coverings. All other grocery chains big and small are enforcing this. How can you claim to care for your customers and employees when you wont enforce a state mandated order for the safety of the public health? Worried about a lawsuit from someone you kick out? Id be more worried about a lawsuit from someone who catches COVID-19 from unmasked people shopping in one of your stores.

Ive lived in Biddeford for over 3yrs now and Ive seen a good number of African Americans in my neighborhood but hannaford Biddeford does not have any hair products for our type of hair!! To me Its ridiculous bcz I have to go to Portland to find anything for my hair....there is diversity in Biddeford why not at hannaford?

Love my local Hannaford! Great staff with a great selection of products for a smaller store. Only wish they would enforce the No smoking within 25 feet of entrance rule and make more of an effort to retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot.

Zero stars if possible. What a rotten experience, cashier needs an attitude adjustment. She gave me such an attitude. And the blond manager needs to stop walking around with that smirk on her face. I am calling this my 38 Dollar Mistake because I should have gone to customer service and asked for every penny I spent back today. But it was worth it, because I am never going to this store again. I am even switching pharmacies. And I am a 50 year old white woman just so you dont start calling the race card which another market in the area was a recent, and mistaken, victim of. I will take my business to them. Horrible. Just absurd and horrible experience

Best grocery store ever. Friendly staff, fresh food, and affordable prices. We recently moved to a new state and no longer have a Hannaford grocery store. I joke that this grocery store is what I will miss most about Maine!

More expensive than Walmart. But their veggies Refresher and the people are really nice hi. They have this neat nutritionist that comes in which is awesome. The pharmacy is the best kindest wonderful people. And as opposed to Walmart all of their healthier foods are less money no.

They tend to LACK ITEMS IN ALL AREAS OF THEIR GROCERIES!! The Chicken wings in the deli at this particular store are NEVER COOKED TO A DEEP GOLDEN BROWN!!

The Brunswick Hannaford is excellently managed and staffed. There are rarely long lines at the checkout unless all lanes are available and the store is simply packed. Items are usually promptly stocked if available, and the store is clean and easy to navigate. Most of the departments are staffed with employees with considerable experience who can accurately assist with questions. Nothing exceptionally spectacular, but a decent and enjoyable-if rather standard- supermarket experience.

Of the many Hannaford Supermarkets around I like this one best. I find it well organized, well stocked and adequately staffed. It is a bit smaller than other Hannaford stores in this area but not at the expense of a good variety of products.

Hannaford is a great place to shop. Their prices are fair and they usually have amazing produce. They also have a drive up service where you can order your groceries online and pick them up outside from an employee who shopped for you.

Everyone there is always helpful and the product is as you have come to expect from Hannafords. Consistently good and if there is an issue returns are no fuss.

I love hannaford. Its a little more expensive than our local Walmart. But its so much cleaner, the staff is so friendly, and its closer to town. Hannaford always has amazing specials. Their app needs work. Overly complicated. Good deli, baked goods, produce and meat. Well organized and clean. Efficient check out. Clean bathroom. Prices average, used to be lower in comparison to competitors. Bus stops in both directions so easily accessible by public transportation and free bus tokens with purchase. Redbox, propane, lottery, beer/wine, stamps.

The bathrooms were dirty, they were playing loud music that was out of the normal range of shopping music. The food was good the cashier friendly and they had a good amount of registers open. I was able to get in and out in 16 minutes.

Always a pleasant experience even on busier days/times. The cashiers are respectful and efficient. All staff are polite and personable.

Great selection and they offered to help me outside. Only 4 stars because the cashier did not wait until my grandmother put away her money before zooming onto the next customer. Cashier did not thank us for shopping or greet us very friendly.

Was going to bring up concerns within a contact form on their website, but the form requires WAY too much information for a complaint. I have recently encountered BONE fragments in hannaford made up meat meals such at meat loaf and chicken breast stuff in those tin dishes with plastic wrap. I have chipped two teeth a tiny bit (Im fine) and I was also quite concerned about the way the salmon cuts looked in the seafood department as well. Any chance on getting easier check out search materials too? Some items are extremely difficult to quickly locate in self check out lines and some people appreciate not having to associate themselves with your cashiers. It would be a lot easier to bring up concerns and allow you to fix them rather than make them public so you may lose business... Make the contaxt form less invasive.

This is my regular place for groceries. Their prices are average. Its very convenient for me too cuz I live just a block or two away. The food is good, and fresh. Its a nice store. The employees have all been nice. Anytime I needed anything I got positive vibes from every employee Ive asked so far. One time, I accidentally left all my rings on the bathroom sink, I toke them off to wash my hands. Forgot them for over a full 10 mins or so. I went back.. They were right where I left them. That says a lot about the people who shop there. They are good people.
