Go there to do the big shopping that you plan on doing once a month it is what the trip make it a whole day enjoy it most important let me friendly the store is always clean they have every item that you will be looking for! Grab a bite and sit in the cafeteria before you start shopping! As you know, rule number one never go shopping for food on an empty stomach! 😀

Great store...the only thing was my check-out person. He decided to tie all of my vegetable bags... I asked him not to cause its hard for me to untie them. He then told me to use sissors while shaking his head. I then told him I reuse the bags to put cat litter in! His response was whatever while shaking his head.

My favorite place for groceries in Biddeford! Theyre always well stocked and well staffed. They have a fantastic selection for fresh meat and produce, and the best prices for both. The staff is friendly and helpful. The cafe and restrooms are always clean, and the hot food is always fresh and delicious. My daughter asks to sit in the cafe and have lunch or a snack every time we come here, even if were just making a quick trip.

Absolutely love market basket!! The prices are unbeatable and the quality of their food that they make there daily is amazing. You can get a real cheese burger and fresh made fries made right in front of you for $2.99, you cant beat that price or quality anywhere

I like MB for its selections and prices. But today the checkout clerk was burnt and the bagger was preoccupied with the front end, I think he was in charge. We were bagging prior to his arrival and was perfectly content to do so.

I would not recommend the Seafood at Market Basket Biddeford. Bought a bag of Oysters a while ago and half were dead and smelly. They sourced from R.I. Yesterday, bought a bag of Ocean Fresh Mussels. 2/3 of them were open and dead. Label says they came from Boston. Will never buy seafood there again. Buy your groceries at Market Basket, but get your seafood from a local shop..

Great store with many different options that you cant find at other shopping centers, the staff on the other hand well lets just say that theyre far from friendly or helpful in MANY ways. My wife and I were extremely disapointed and dissatisfied with the customer service.

A great store, very clean. Bangin little cafe with amazing shakes. I recommend Expresso, hazelnut and caramel mixed together oh my goodness. Very good sales, great quality meats. I want to commend the chef behind the counter at market kitchen tonight for serving food above those hot ovens. It had to be 100 degrees behind the glass and he did not skip a beat. Gunnar served my hot chicken plate with a smile. He had to be no older than 18 years old with a hair net and apron keeping it Covid-19 safe among the heat wave. Great service and training!

Its typically VERY busy all the time, but thats because of how inexpensive things are there compared to their competitors. The meats however, deli included could be much better quality wise.

Best grocery ever! They have served us well for over 50 years and we are beyond thrilled that theyve come into Maine (much closer to our current home). Good specials. Clean and bright stores. The best shelf prices. Cant beat their deli offerings.

Back when I worked there as a teen (different store) we had to be presentable, helpful and, courteous. I don’t know what happened to the standards but it’s gone. Signed a guy who has chased his groceries across the driveway multipul times from piss poor lazy bagging.

Baggers always do a great job grouping/bagging items. Lines move quickly even when theyre long. Prices are better than HFB and worth the extra distance. Great selection of items in every department. Superior meat department and premade options. Biddeford location always airy and clean.

I like shopping at MK and also like the dinners. Can you please once in a while switch up your meat loaf dinner to turkey dinner, ham dinner, corn beef dinner for a change. Every week is meat loaf !? Just saying. Thanks.

I’ve been shopping at Market Basket for many years now. it’s a great store with great prices. but they need to work on there customer service !!! Not friendly at all. they would like there jobs if they were a little bit more friendly and enjoy it!!!!!

Parking is good; lots are plowed and access is good.Im not a regular shopper here, but store layout is pretty intuitive. Produce and meats are great. They carry broad selections in most categories. Went mostly for holiday dried fruits for baking not carried at my more local grocery stores.

Cashiers seemed annoyed, but they have good subs. They make sure to fill them up rather then adding the bare minimum veggies and meat.

This grocery store is the best grocery store on the east coast . They have outstanding prices ! Wish they were in ct 😩

First time at Market Basket and not the last. Store is immaculate and the produce is the same. Specifically stoped in for fresh bread and fruit. And was not dissapointed. I was also in and out in 20 minutes. The cashier was hilarious, even making a joke about wearing the pineapple on my head. I look forward to spending more time at Market Basket Biddeford for a complete shopping.

Friendly service and excellent prices/products

I love that market basket is now in Maine. Great selection at competitive prices with frequent sales and deals. The gentleman who does the regular announcements in the store for special offers also does a great job. Just note there is no self-check here and lines can be a little long at peak times but all of the service people are great and quick at their jobs plus they generally have plenty of lanes open to keep things moving.

Always a pleasure shopping at Market Basket stores. Unlike Hannafords every store is basically laid out the same. And they have the lowest prices. Period.

Great prices and deals. I also have loved the prepared foods from the grill and pizzeria in the store. I will say I have been disappointed sometimes in the available varieties in some of the items.

Meat prices &quality excellent.. Same with deli. Worst part of the rest of the store is a constant wall of Market Basket brand. Paper goods, canned and Frozen vegetables, bread Etc., all Market Basket. However, The Market Basket products are not that good. Most times it is not possible to find the better brands. This often causes me 2 shop elsewhere.

No need to go to any other grocery store. This is the best around hands down. Management is very responsive to requests and the employees are always pleasant. Selection and in stock position is very good overall. Produce is fresh and clean. Wish they carried fresh horseradish but if thats my only complaint theyre definitely doing almost everything right. Worth noting that this is a very popular and very busy store. I cant see knocking stars for that but choose your time of visit wisely to expedite your trip.

Until my last visit, I have had nothing bad to say about this Supermarket. Its very clean and despite its size, its easy to shop. Here is the reason as to why I give it a 3 star. Today 9/23, my wife and I stopped by to pick up a few things. Now every time we come to this store we always make it a point to stop at their KITCHEN DEPT. for pizza and chicken wings for lunch. Getting the pizza was a breeze as usual, but I stood in front of the counter where the wings are and waited to be served. Stood there for quite a while with my ticket #68, while the two clerks behind the counter continued chatting away with each other. Neither one of them even bothered to greet me or even acknowledge my presence. In disgust, I left the area very disappointed with the CUSTOMER SERVICE. I probably can give them a 2 star, but like I said, this is the first time I have experienced this at this store. Im hoping that this was just an isolated incident.

I love Market Basket. The prices are good, the food tastes wonderful, and they have implemented pandemic procedures responsibly. I love ordering food from the kitchen--the food always comes out well, and the employees are always pleasant and kind. Sometimes I do need to re-bag my groceries (which I find happens a lot down here in Southern Maine); but I think the environment is great and welcoming.

You know I have to admit that I do like Market Basket. Not just because they seem to have everything (except wipes, get on the ball MB), but its employees went on a strike to have a top executive brought back after he was let go.Oh also should add that the pricing of goods is fair to the public. Not like Cant Affords (Hannafords.)So stop there for your grocery needs.

Best place for just about everything. I find most of whats on my list without effort even when there are shortages. Staff is always helpful and bend over backwards to assist. Im disabled and use a cane and some one always asks if they can assist me with taking groceries out. That doesnt happen at any other chain.

Wow! Many reasonable prices. Huge store and choices. Their own brand of tonic water WITH QUININE, (great for muscle cramps) cheaper than local grocer. Very pleasant and helpful employees. OMG THANK YOU FOR WIDE AISLES!!!! I didnt run into displays or end caps AND could pass those slower! I did find unpriced items and tagging, not aligned. As a shopper, I do NOT enjoy hunting for employee help, for this, and often refuse to purchase all thats unpriced..I wanted a simply bag of low cost carrots. They were in 4-5 different locations making consumer comparisons more difficult. I will have to get use to THEIR sort and filing system.

The employees are incredibly nice and helpful. Whenever I have asked where I would find something, the person has always taken me to it. It is well stocked and the prices cant be beat. Worth the trip!
