Very satisfied with my service. I like my glasses. I’ll need to get used to the bi-focal transitions. The Doctor and staff were wonderful and very accommodating. They took every precaution necessary to provide as safe a possible environment!
I guess it is my fault for it reading all the reviews. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Not only did the eye “dr” get the script wrong the first time!!!!! The second time too. Since they went through insurance, nothing was left to be covered and had to pay out of pocket to get it done right at Lens Crafters. Since the exam was $60 I asked for a reimbursement. Danielle asked to go in AGAIN for recheck. Question: if the doc didn’t do it right the first and second time, is the third time a charm? She then asked if wanted to go to another location. At this point all faith is lost with your “doctors”I would not recommend this place to anyone. Danielle is busy keeping her pride then $60. Very unprofessional place. Sad they got my insurance money for doing a service that was not done right.
First time coming here and they took great Covid precautions. Staff were very nice and my insurance covered contact solution however I noticed they gave me two bottles that were going to expire within a month. Wish they would check there inventory as its very unlikely someone would use up 2 bottles before that expiration date.
Ordered glasses on 1-27. It’s now been 4 weeks glasses still at lab. Unacceptable!! So while my visit was great I will never order glasses there again!!!
The doctor was amazing and answered all my questions. I felt extremely comfortable. The customer service and pricing were mediocre. I was not contacted when my glasses came in until I called weeks later myself and staff was not very friendly during the visit. For the amount of money spent compared to competition, I was hoping for higher quality service. I would definitely recommend seeing the doctor, but would not buy their merchandise.
Very professional. My appointment was pretty much on time. Doctor was very thorough and answered all my questions. I was recommended by a co-worker who said their pricing was better than others but I found it to be very similar. However, I would recommend them highly.
Ive been a customer of Rosin in Downers Grove for many years. That office is run well and I would recommend in a heart beat. However, the Bloomingdale office doesnt seem to be on the same track. My husband went there to have a prescription filled (he had frames), and I was picking up glasses sent up from Downers Grove. I decided to add something to my prescription, and they were happy to take care of it.We were told that it would be about a week but, due to Thanksgiving, it may take a few more days. Today Ive learned that a few more days is THREE WEEKS!Im not sure if this is a new location for Rosin, but they dont seem to have the same customer service attitude, and its not always clear if they all know what theyre doing. Is everyone here new?It is a huge disappointment that our glasses will not be ready anytime soon, and I dont really have the confidence that they will call me. I feel like I may have to phone in a few days to double check.Again - so disappointed. Misinformation is not the way to make lifelong customers.
My experience from start to finish was just right. Intake was helpful and patient. Optometrist was thorough and really drilled down on my specific needs for glasses(reading and mid field trump distance for me).Yasmin was great at selection and all important measurements.When I returned to pick up glasses the fitting went perfect. Most importantly, the glasses worked just as I need them to. I wear them 16 hours a day so they must work perfectly.Great job, Rosin Bloomingdale.David Kusnierz
I came here a few months ago for an eye exam after this office was recommended to me by a family member. I believe this was my second visit. The ophthalmologist that I saw was personable and after several terrible experiences with eye doctor offices, I thought I had found the right office. I purchased a new pair of glasses, a year’s worth of contacts and they talked me into purchasing the focus pack (?). I was told by the girl who was helping me that if I were to rip any number of contacts throughout the year, that contact would be replaced. I thought it sounded like a great deal so I bought it. Now, several months later, I have ripped 6 left eye contact lenses. Yes, that’s a lot. I’ve been wearing contacts for years and have never had this many rip on me leaving me so uneven with only 6 right lenses left. I called to order the 6 to even out until my next visit and the person I spoke to the other day said they only had one in store and would need to order the rest. Today, I went in to pick up the one and asked about the rest and the lady at the front desk said they would only give me one or two but 6 is a whole box and I would have to order that myself. DON T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE FOCUS PACK. To have to come into the office for 1 or 2 contacts doesn’t seem worth purchasing something extra. I could have already ordered the box and had it delivered had i known they would only give me one contact. I will not be coming back here because of the dishonesty and lack of customer service. It seems like no one there knows what they’re doing. With plenty of other offices out there, I’ll be finding one closer to me.
This was my first time visiting Rosin eyecare (Bloomingdale.) Everyone from check-in to doctor to check-in out was wonderful. They explained and gave me a break down of insurance cover before being seen and help make my follow up appointment. The doctor was super thorough and friendly.
It honestly does not get better then Rosin... the doctors are amazing and the office staff are exceptional... always helping you save money and get exactly what you need. You won’t regret going to the Rosin Bloomingdale office! Shanta and Samantha are beyond helpful... Shanta has worked with me each time I’ve been in and her level of customer service and knowledge of the business is beyond exceptional.

My husband bought 2 pairs of glasses and over $325 (thats AFTER INSURACE) later, not even an eyeglass cleaner kit was given. I spent almost $500 for 2 pair (AFTER INSURANCE!) and I really hope I at least get en eyeglass cleaner kit! Every single time I have gone to other places I have always received one.Its like getting a toothbrush after your dental exam and cleaning. Its the least they can do after spending so much money. They are way too pricey. However, the staff was very friendly... I think Im going back to Americas best. Their selection and prices are far better.
I have been with Rosin Eyecare for six years now and I have had a great experience with their optometrists. They are nice and very detail oriented in their care. Very nice office staff as well!

I think Rosin eye care provides excellent service & I feel like they always go above & beyond to help maximize my insurance benefits.I’m only giving 4 stars because the office could use a bit of an update both physical & equipment. Despite that I recommend Rosin to anyone who needs a new eye doctor.
Dr was great extremely attentive and nice. My issue was scheduling an 8:45 getting to the door at 8:40 and the person standing there didnt even acknowledge me to open the door. I was literally ignored until i said something from outside. I then felt like the staff that was there was not friendly at all. Person who helped me pick my glasses was nice and helpful.
DONOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! I went to the office after I have appointment to have my kids regular school form that is always covered by my insurance..they guided me through different process, I had to see the doctor she made that school form. I went out I was surprised !!??they want me to pay $200 for the visit.. I told them I am here for school form, they said but you already saw the doctor!!I told them I was clear with you I need the school form and I am not paying because I didn’t ask for more then that.since last visit I had a visit and not have school form, I have the right to have it any time I ask for it!!!..the district manager “as she told me”her name Daniel was very rude,and she refuse to give me her Boss number..after all I couldn’t have basic thing is to have my kids school form!! Otherwise I need to pay for it .and they never mention that to me.. I called them and made sure If school form is covered, and double checked ones I get there with front desk.. they confirmed I can have school form.. I never had such problem with the stuff was there before..all people there was new .!! At the end of the day I went back home without the form, wasting more then 3 hours with suck service.. they don’t know there job.. forcing people to pay for things they create it..and this is not the first time by the way.. I found someone review about the same place get charged for service usely covered by his insurance.. same here today!

Horrible reservation system. They’ll cancel your appointment if you miss their call to remind you of your appointment. Even if you call them back to confirm the appointment, your appointment still gets canceled?? Happened to me 2 times. Great doctor there but horrible scheduling practice.
Very helpful staff. Everyone was kind and nobody was pushy. They helped get me squared away with glasses and contacts. My glasses broke within 30 days and they repaired them for free. Extremely good service.
When I went in for an appointment with all the insurance information they asked for, the wrong insurance was somehow still billed. When I called the following day I was told the girl who was in charged with the billing would call me back. Four days later with no call back I decided to call the office again and the same girl was busy and was to call me back that day. No one called me back. Again I called the office the following day. I finally spoke to the girl about the billing issue, along with an issue I was having with my trial contacts to see if I could try a different brand and she told my she would have to ask the doctor and would follow up with me that Monday about information on the updated billing and new trial contacts. Today is Friday and I called since no one cared to follow up about any of my concerns, and same issue, the girl in charge of billing is busy. No one from the office has called me back or tried to make things right by following up with me. I too work in the medical field and I’ve never experienced such a lack of communication or care for patients. Would give zero if possible.
I choose this business based on the high customer ratings. But I was not impressed with their service, timeliness and/or product. During my eye exam appointment, I wait for a long time even with an scheduled appointment. During my waiting period, I noticed at least 3 customers that had issues with their eye glasses. One of the customers got a welcome basket but that rule did not apply to all new customers. Overall, my rating for the business would be below average.

Make sure you know what your insurance covers before you make an appointment.The staff under trained. The gentleman that works there need a class on using the office equipment fax, scanner ect?...There are a lot of option out there... stay clear of this particular location.

What an eye exam should be...perfect
Have visited there 2 or 3 times and each was a pleasant experience. Always greeted and treated warmly and professionally.
Very professional with respect to the exam and the staff, in general. However, I would strongly advise that you nail down how your vision coverage applies before committing to a purchase. I was charged far above what I expected for lenses and I received zero benefit for anti-reflective coating. When I questioned it, I was told that thats what my coverage allows, so I reluctantly opted for cheaper lenses to get my out of pocket cost to a semi-acceptable level, but I still wasnt comfortable. When I got home, I called my insurance company, which confirmed that I should have paid zero for lenses and I do, indeed, have coverage for the coating. No explanation from Rosin about the apparent discrepancy. I cancelled the order, but the claim had already been filed, making it impossible to get my prescription filled during my 2017 calendar year, meaning that Im out a set of lenses and frames for this year (in fairness, that part is not directly Rosins fault, but an up front discussion about the charges might well have avoided that).

Hated when they merged with Rosin but stayed with them until now. Not sure what’s happened to this location since my last appt. a year ago but I’ve been calling them for over a week to try to schedule an appointment and they never, never answer the phone. You have to leave a messsge. I finally scheduled an appt. online only to receive a message my insurance needed updating and they couldn’t schedule an appt. unless my insurance approved it. What if I was a customer paying out of pocket. Do they no longer accept customers without insurance? Called to cancel the appt and no one answered the phone. Extremely poor service and response time so will be finding a new doctor that is independent and not part of a large impersonal company.

They are scammers. They refuse to give the PD to you unless you either buy the glasses from their office or pay them $25. This is fraud and I will be reporting it.
Walk in there and asked if anybody could fix my glasses . Did not buy them there, but the lady at the front desk Samantha said I look at them .Took them to backroom and fixed them !Shout out to Samantha thanks mike!!!!
Did not feel rushed, they took their time to explain everything, and worked with me to get the best affordable products for my vision as possible.
