Got fresh veggies and carrying all daily needs... Looks like they have stocked up the store again.

This was our first visit to this store and we shopped only because we were passing through the area and needed an item. I have shopped in Indian grocery stores in Plymouth, Eden Prairie, Edina, Central Avenue etc., so my comments are in comparison with other Indian grocery stores. This store is much smaller, which in itself is not an issue and I did expect fewer choices of each item. However, what we saw was empty shelves both in the aisles and in the freezers. The checkout clerk was polite and friendly. But empty shelves really is something that is not acceptable. I do not expect to ever return to this grocery and would not recommend it. The twin cities has a plethora of excellent Indian grocery stores, and this store at best can compete as a 7-11 store for the locals living in the apartment blocks close by, not for the serious Indian grocery shopper.

This grocery store is fantastic. Sometimes the prices are high, but when it comes to a small town grocery store, they have it all. Their remodel is awesome and looks like a great store. While it has taken some time to relearn where stuff is, I love the redesign!

The worst experience ever in my life with a grocery store. Rice bag full of magots and insects. When I showed pictures and receipt was pulled the store person asked me to call the owner and explain. As I called the owner(Vasu) says I need to bring the magot filled bag to get a exchange, means he expects me to keep that bag at home. He disconnects the phone as I was trying to explain. This was the worst customer experience.

I tried to return an item and they simply refused it.Below are the rotten frozen vegetables photos.You can say the difference what is fresh and what is not.Be careful while buying snacks as most of those expired .

As I was travelling to Minneapolis and I google Indian store near by this store pops up, the gentleman was helpful at the counter, this store has little of everything of India grocery I haven’t been to any other Indian store in the areas I am from Chicago over there we have a lot of groceries option .About the prices in my opinion this store prices were higher then any other places I have been .over all good store for the local if they want to buy something in urgent

My first time in Bharat bazar was yesterday . I should have gone there a long time ago . They sell herbs and seasoning in big containers for very affordable price. The authentic Indian tea is awesome and is very affordable. Please keep up the good work and please dont discontinue selling your great strong black tea Wagh Bakri . The gentle man there was very helpful and informative. Thanks

This was my first time going to this Indian grocery store. The product on the shelves was very disorganized. A lot of product did not have the prices listed. Half of the shelves were empty. What surprised me the most is that the floor had boxes laying in the isles, full and empty ones and the floor was very dirty. My visit was at noon on Saturday. Maybe that was after a rush of people or when they replenish their shelves. The 30 minutes that I was there, I was the only customer in the place. Of the 4 Indian grocery stores that I have been to in the Cities......this one by far isin last place.

When they opened the store there were lots of items and fresh vegetables. But for past couple of months not finding the items that we usually get from there and the veggies are also not that fresh. I wish they provide the same service that they provided when they opened the store.

Excellent selection, they bag your groceries for you and they are always pleasant to deal with. Their hot bar is good but it could use a little more variety.

Not well maintained. Almost all shelves empty. Very little frozen stuff and indian breads. Seems the store is not doing well. Hardly any customers even on weekends.

As an Indian, I personally didn’t like this place. The are lack on quantity of items. They don’t sell basic Indian items, not even knives. My 1 star is only for accessibility.

The store is not well stocked and not particularly clean. I visited today and the cashier was not polite or helpful. I do not recommend the store.

Its a good store for Indians who stay close by. The products with the higher shelf life is good but products like garlic or other vegetables (in my case especially garlic) looked pretty and worth buying when seen on the shelf but as I came home and broke the garlic down I did not even get a single clove from 3 bulbs of garlic that could be used for any of my dishes. Really disappointed there. They should keep a check on their products. I would suggest just because they look pretty and worth buying, dont buy without thoroughly checking the product.

Good spot for bulk spices. I wish they had more fresh produce.

Very good stocks of sweet water fishes and goat meat. Good vegetables too. Fresh machine made Rooti & Chapatis are available too.

Reasonably priced but, one has to check for dated stock before buying. Bought namkeen and it was very bad.

I like shopping at Bharat Bazaar, they always have more brands and good choices of products. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. the store is well lit. they are always my first choice for buying spices and fresh vegetables and some groceries. make sure you get your points when you buy anything from them.

Good quality vegetables and groceries. The people who run it are also very helpful and friendly. They accept any returns or exchange without needing much explanation. We are used to buy fresh whole coconuts from here. Sometimes when we break them at Home, they are rotten. We have returned many such coconuts and have bought good ones in exchange. Never faced any problems or questions from the shop owners.

Its a nice place to get all the India stuff, you get every spice and day to day items. You also got Haldiram sweets and snacks. We got a lot of stuff from there for our stay and it looks no different from a store in India. Nice place to shop.

If you shop here, check the expiration dates. I accidentally bought chips that were a year past the expiration date. Service very friendly so they get one star.

Go here for the fresh vegetables. Would be mindful when purchasing snacks or other items as pretty much most of them are close to the expiry date. I did see some stuff that were expired.

Best Indian grocery store in Bloomington area. You can get almost anything you get in India here. The owners are great too. You can request them to get a Desi product if you dont find it there.Also you must try there Eden Prairie store as well. It has nice little eatery with awesome Indian snacks 😋🙂

If you need one stop, get all Indian grocery then this store is good for you. Has all Indian grocery,good selection,Nicely placed for easy spotting. Pricing is OK and the staff are helpful.

This store is good and more spacious than most of the Indian stores I have seen.. I have visited this store only on weekends and its not a crowded place and easy to shop. On weekends the scene may be different.. not sure though.

Its a great place for Indian groceries. They are the first one I know who started rewards program and its a great deal.

Good location. Decent sized shop that has most Indian grocery items. Additionally have some utensils and stuffs. Staff is friendly but recently feels like understaffed and unable to help when there are enough people at checkout. Vegetables are not at their best some times but I see that happen at other Indian stores around.

This is the best Indian grocery if compared to few of other old Indian grocery stores in Minneapolis. Prices of items are lower and they have wide varieties of items. Like they have 3-4 varieties of paneer. Moreover you get points on every purchase made which is not there in any of the Indian grocery stores.

Pls put your price labels correctly, whenever i read price and take anything to counter for billing, they charge me everything for extra dollars by saying labels are not correct sorry.... and ya sometime when i say no i read correct this time why you charging extra then they say sorry sorry we added wrong one.. so keep experienced employees at billing. because once or twice or thrice i can understand it was mistake, but every time if you guys doing same thing and increasing prices i wont come here again.

Bought wheat flour bag and found it to be expired. Be careful and see expiry date for all products.

This place has fresh produce. Also, pretty good sized market.

Same items are priced reasonably less than TBS Mart, which is in close proximity.The store is good, however since it doesnt keep chicken so loses some business as many go-to TBS for chicken n buy other stuffs too.Edit 1: looks like they have started to keep NonVeg and people may not GoTo other stores anymore...

Its ok not too good as you cant get all Indian items you need here. There another branch in eden prairie is much better. This solved purpose for some urgent and commons needs for people on Bloomington and Edina.

Bharat Bazaar, by a mile, is the cleanest and most organized Indian Store I have been to, it saves a lot of time for me.
