This place has everything hair and accessories!!!! Every wig and ponytail style, every hair extension type and color!!! So many brands to choose from. Very well organized and clean.Busy store. Nice staff.

I have been coming to this beauty supply for years. Ive had some rude interactions with the father and son more than once, but todays interaction was too unacceptable. I grabbed my needed items and walked up to the gentleman at the counter. I said hello as we made eye contact and was met with nothing but silence and a stare. Before I could even purchase the items I had sat down before him, someone else comes in and asks a question. Instead of asking them to wait while he finished with me, he walks away from the counter like I hadnt even been standing there waiting for his assistance. I was so insulted and disgusted that I left the items on the counter and I just walked out. I have gotten to a point where Im not spending money in places where people make it obvious that I am not appreciated. This was a very disappointing experience especially as a long time customer.

Me and my mom come to this place, and sometimes they don’t have the eyelash glue my mom be looking for but overall they are a very good place to go to! I love this place and Mr, Young always be nice to me and my mom cause he know me every since I was little! So he is super nice but yes this place is really good I love coming here!

I purchased a wig because its difficult to get hair appointment right now! They had a tremendous variety and the staff is very friendly and the prices are reasonable! It just sucks because you cant try on wigs right now but its not their fault. I bought one dont like it and cant return it. We live and we learn

The store will not let you try on wigs and they can not be returned. If they do not fit, you lose.

For $100 I can buy way more human hair tape in extensions then at Sally Beauty Supply. And you get to see the hair not like buying online at Amazon or something. They did not carry halo style hair which I have been wanting to try. There are lots of other cool things here I picked up a couple hats, sunglasses and some huge earrings. I just want to clarify, this business IS NOT Black owned, but does target a specific market of women of color. Please be careful of the reviews you read! They target us not due to racism, but the market demands such. Black women spend BILLIONS on hair care and products. I have seen wigs, however, for ALL women here because I am a wig enthusiast. I always find what I need here. If they dont have it, they order it. Wigs do not have a race...lol

I literally just called the store just before writing this review. This was a store that I loved dearly. Never really all that friendly but this takes the cake. I called to ask of they had a certain wig and a man answers the phone, I continue to ask for someone in the wig area when he just automatically says NO REFUND NO EXCHANGE I tell him that Im trying to purchase a wig and I want to know if they have this certain one that I wanted to purchase. He gets loud again and says WE HAVE MANY WIGS. I said ok thank you. Ill just shop elsewhere. I mean Ill NEVER shop here again.

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY IN THIS PLACE OF ASIAN MONOPOLY! THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF BLACK CUSTOMERS AND NEVER GIVE BACK NOR SHARE THEIR DISTRIBUTION INFO BUT THATS GONNA CHANGE SOON!

The owner is dishonest. I was deliberately charged $154.95 for $106.85 in product. He altered the total cost on purpose. Please check your receipts. It is likely a pattern of behavior. Do not trust this store or owner. I will never return, and have filed proper reports to get my money back.

The entire staff has always been friendly * well attentive to my needs. I enjoy shopping here as they have a wide variety of merchandise so that I no longer need to travel to Chicago for products for my natural hair.

Very Disappointing; This black owned business is extremely racist. I am a middle aged caucasian with some hair loss. I live in Bolingbrook and heard this store had a vast selection of hair pieces. Which they do, however all displayed hair pieces and wigs are for African American only. When I tried to ask why, I was ignored. Mr. Young needs to realize this isnt the 50s or 60s anymore. Bolingbrook is a multi racial area and all races should feel welcome in his business.

I currently live in Wheaton and as a black man, there literally isnt any places in Wheaton, Glenn Ellyn, etc where I can find simple products for my hair such as curl sponges, wave caps, drags, twist and lock gel, and other black hair care products. This place is 30 minutes from my location but worth the trip because I need the products. I noticed another comment mentioned that its not a black owned shop which is true but I can say that it is a Christan owned business which may incline some of you to give them your business. If youre black and live in the West suburbs, dont hesitate to stop in here!
