It is very difficult for a woman to get her needs met without facing some kind of disrespect.First of all. I wish the owner had his mask on as we customers did.Second, I needed someone to really throughly look at my used car. I waited 40 minutes but then he really didn’t want to even drive the car. He did an inspection of frame, brakes etc - but as I kept expressing, I really needed to know what the engine looked like.He wasn’t willing to be forthcoming after looking at it. I was treated disrespectfully so I left.

Came for an oil change. $40 for 4 liters and $10/liter after that. My car takes about 4.7 liters, so I was confused when I was charged $60, which is the price for 6 liters...figured I just got upcharged because they need some help in this pandemic. Nope. They over filled my engine, which is not the best for your car. Disappointed that these guys would be so unprofessional for a simple oil change - go elsewhere for your auto needs.

Awesome service at a good price. I came here with my first car to do a brake job as they were offering the best rates. When I got here, I was pleasantly surprised to see a very nice setup andfand staff. The owner is from Brazil and a very nice guy. The job was solid and professional. Very happy with the results. Dont EVER come here unless you want to be ripped off! The owner is a Liar! They are THIEVE! They will agree an acceptable deal with you, later on they will make some parts of your car for MALFUNCTION, it will show up ERROR on the diagnosis screen, then end up have you PAY more!! SCAMMERS!! It’s definitely a disaster by visiting this place, the dealer quoted $650 for my husband’s Cadillac brake repair, we ended up spend $1000 here, because we bought our parts for $300, they charged us $700 when we made a deal for $250 for the labor they charge. During the repair, they came up another excuse that they have to replace one clipper, they have to charge that single job for $450 on top of the $250 deal just made early, We need the car for business so we can’t be delayed for the job, we had to take that lie, we had to accept the ripping off business. Well, we ended pay way higher than GMC dealer quote when we thought we could save some money by buying our own parts, then just have a honest shop to charge the acceptable labor fee. That works when you deal with honest peopleAnd this shop is the reason why the society and industry got ripped. That’s the reason why honest people won’t have the work, shame on them. They are nothing more than thieves. Never mind, maybe the owner need extra money to buy that prescription for his kids. We donate that, F off bad people.

I’ve been dealing with this business for awhile and I came in there with a wreck and little money and came out with a fixed car for little money!!! I have had service done on my 2003 Ford Explorer at least 3 times in the last 2 years at New England Break and I have been satisfied each and every time. Wagner, the owner, is very accommodating, pleasant and easy going. He opened up for me on a snow storm day because I needed service and I greatly appreciate that. His mechanic is open and honest and gives you the real deal of what is going on with your vehicle. New England Break had my vehicle ready by the end of the business day which is amazing. Other shops I have gone to takes 2 and 3 days just to look at it. I give New England Break 5 stars. They are alright in my book and anytime I need some work done they will be the first person I call. Their prices are fair and Wagner even called me an Uber one time so that I could get to work. I had planned to walk from his shop to work and he wouldnt have it. He took out his phone and paid for one for me and he didnt add the cost to my bill. Great guy! Definitely treats his customers well.

I had a great experience with the owners and managers when I spoke to them, but the mechanic who did the work did a dangerously sloppy job. They stripped several bolts in my suspension and steering, and even cut a couple to get the parts off. Which would be fine, except that they used the same cut bolts to attach the new parts! There was no cotter pin holding the castle nut on, and predictably, the crappy remnant of the bolt got loose and snapped off. While I was driving down the highway.The managers and owners have fought me tooth and nail on getting reimbursed for the crappy labor (I even told them Id still pay for the parts!). Be that as it may, they havent been willing to work with me or stand by a commitment to quality. I had emergency repairs made at another shop (who used the same parts I brought these guys, even though these guys lied to the credit card company and said the parts I provided were not OEM when they were).They seem to have positive reviews on Yelp, and maybe thats fair. I just know my situation was not positive, and they even had an opportunity to change my opinion. They chose to use that opportunity to lie to the credit card company and fight any form of recourse. If anyone else has similar issues, I recommend you look up the Massachusetts state laws surrounding letters of demand and standards for merchants. Hell, Ill send you the resources I used, because it took a lot of reading to get anything productive done.

I got new brakes and rotors from this shop in November 2019, drove away with the brakes making a scratchy sound, I didnt do anything about it for months (came up with excuses in my head that the brakes would brake-in or it was from snow/ rain). I came back months later asking them to investigate and they resolved all issues without additional costs. The job was under warranty and they did right by fixing the problem without argument. Overall, very professional small shop that wants to get you fixed and driving.

Brought my car in for brake work yesterday afternoon they had it ready by the time i left work. ive had issues with my brakes since i bought my car and had taken it into the dealership 3 times and it was never resolved. NE Brake resolved it in a few hours! great customer service, fair prices. owner is very honest and caring. he even took care of a few other small things at no charge. they do all kinds of automotive work and will be coming here from now on!

I wish I knew the owners name because I would use it. I have found it very easy to have worked on here and I found the prices very reasonable. I also love it because its right down the street so its very convenient. I will continue to use this mechanic!

I went there yesterday morning for the brake special but decided on having both the plugs and wires replaced since its an annual routine.Couldnt be happier with the staff and the services performed and equally impressed with the fair deal pricing. You dont find honest shops very often. Boston you ought to treasure this place. Coming from a New Mexican.

This is my first time using New England brake and Auto repair. I drive a Lexus IS 350 F sport. My car only takes certain parts. I gave my car to them on Saturday February 24 2018. I got my car back today on the 26. I will definitely go back again. The owner and Mike are the nicest people you will ever meet and will treat you like family. Needless to say, I had to have my front and back brakes and rotors replace and they only charged me 650. If I would have gone to my Lexus dealership I would have payed a lot more so. This is a great place to go! I love it there.

I have been going to these guys for well over a year now, and I keep coming back because of how well they treat me. Recently, I blew out a tire and needed to be on the road the same day. These guys were responsive to my concerns and got the exact brand and tire size I was looking for. They had me back on the road well before the start of rush hour, and gave me a better deal than the local Firestone. The next time I run into issues, I will be sure to return without hesitation.

I couldn’t get home fast enough to write this review. Mike from New England Brake Center was so transparent about what my car needed after I had a horrible run in with their neighboring mechanic who was trying desperately to rip me off. The prices here are beyond fair- they’re unbeatable. Mike was so accommodating and even gave me a ride home around the corner when I dropped my car off. I brought my 2004 jnfiniti g35 last year they told me withing 2 minutes my car needed a head gasket they said 2200 and insisted they fix it. I got upset and told them that thats how much i paid for the car. When i told them nevermind i had to yell for them to get my car taken out of there bay. A heavyset Caucasian male checked it by pouring antifreeze into the radiator and never did a diagnostic. I lost my job sold the car a week later the guy i sold the 2 for2 200 dollars honestly told me it was the radiator withba smile on his face i cried and could only remember what they said and believed them. I have three kids and make 12 dollars an hour now everttime i see an infiniti i get upset the Brazilian guy is the owner be careful..... Today is november 12 2018 i am editing this becaiUse u responded 2 my review and said u didnt do a diagnostic your are telling the truth because i never saw the fat white guy plug it in all he did was pour antifreeze ans say it needs headgasket. Your not lying thats for sure but why dont you say man up and we could of done more but u judged a book by its cover i might look like a million bucks but im not i dress presentable because i have a reputation to maintain i have kids and. Because of your wicked ways im going to attend school in the fall and do 2 years and get my associates degree in mechanics i dont care if noone on yelp believes me ima post my degree and edit this in the future.
