To the girl who helped me into a fitting room and was wearing platform Dr Martens sandals: You are a god and I love you so much. Thank you for complimenting my laces. As Urbans go, this one is pretty mediocre. Regular clothes, some stuff you wouldnt see on the website/app. My only complaint is the sizing of UO (again, god), because a small and medium skirt on me fit the same and the jeans arent consistent. Theres always a gap on the waist and the thigh area feels to constricted. Some employees felt cold, though. Like they were judging us from afar. But if you ignore that, its a pretty good store. Solid sale section.
Worst Urban Ive ever been in! Not only are employees either clueless about their own products/inventory but they also dont communicate properly with each other. Had a question about potentially ordering some shoes to the store for pickup (a feature on their website btw) and not only did they say they cant do it (after 2 other employees told me they could) but then flat out said it could never happen anyways, and that theyd only ship to my home! (idk if the employees just arent trained properly or whatever, but the quality of this particular Urban has dropped considerably over the years). Never going to shop at this location again ✌🏻
No one asks if you need help. BUT person at the register was very helpful and nice.
Ordered some clothes online and they canceled everything once I got to the store.
One of the smaller ones Ive visited, and Im not a fan of the self service registers. I know lots of people appreciate the option, but I like personal service, and the folks behind the counter basically didnt give me a choice. The woman actually said we have to do other things. Eh.
They are rip offs, I bought a glow in the dark vest, and when I walk outside I notice there’s a rip on the vest. So I return it same day and they switch it and gave me another. Then I was returning because I notice it’s mad thin so it’s going to rip, and the manager told me that I can only do store credit since I couldn’t find my receipt, so I left and went home to search for the receipt a second time, when back other day to take the store credit and they telling that the vest Is on sale for 19.99 so I can only get that store credit, when I purchase the vest for $79, so I lost, they are rip offs, cause I ask for other prove of purchase and I gave them, I even took a pic in there changing room with the vest and everything
I just waited in line for 15 minutes and the line literally did not move. The cashiers kept walking away with an extremely long line right in front of them. I watched three separate people (me included) leave their items they were about to purchase and leave the line in frustration. Very disappointed in this customer service.
Its a kind of big shop at the end of Newbury street. This shop has two stories, in the first floor you can find accessories and in the second floor you can find clothing. The decoration is nice, a mix of an old building and wood with actual decoration.Items are classified accordingly, but there arent any poster indicating wheres each section. I went there to look for any good sale, but I didnt find the size I was looking for, but items were worth them.A lighting visit, nothing more to say.
They’re not following or enforcing covid guidelines. Way too many people in the store, no one even keeping track. The line was a safety hazard people on top of each other.
I have to say I love UO!The one thing I feel disappointed is one staff always talk with other colleagues and ignore the customers. When I talk to him, he ignore??!!No matter how many times I talk to him.No respect!
The place is really cool. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is very friendly. Clothing can be a bit pricey but the book section is full of wonders, you can find any kind of book covering any kind of diverse subjects. You can find decorations for your room, home and cool gadgets to use.
If youve never worked clothing retail then you wont really understand the struggle of the employees. Cleaning large messes and dealing with budgets, standards, greeting everyone while doing size checks and having to kiss customer ass. A.k.a selling your soul but I give them props. They have it better than most retailers and can dress freely while having nice tunes. I gave them 3 stars for the prices and culture appropriation but the employees definitely deserve 5.
One of my favorite places to shop and they totally have the best deals out there. And the staff here are very chill and super sweet.
I did not have a good experience coming in for in-store pick up. The cashier was not nice/helpful. Also, I ordered 2 items but one of the items was missing in the bag and had to wait for another 10 mins for them to find it.
Love shopping here, the prices are ok, but everything here fits my style. Its always great finding a place that has everything to fit you needs.
This store is extremely appealing to teenagers and is extremely unique. There is a lot of variety for different personalities. The service is awesome and all the people are really nice. Even though the prices are high you can still find some awesome deals. overall i love the store.
They have a couch here u could sit on. This is extremely helpful if u r shopping with ur important one. Im just chilling here and waiting for my gf to pick me up 😁
Urban Outfitters is a great place for everything from novelties to clothes. The Back Bay location is huge but lacks a little. The Harvard Square location is clearly superior in selection and prices, with the bargain basement and such. The staff doesnt ever seem very active in helping the customer find things.
Trendy clothes and very friendly staff. I was once looking for shoes that I couldnt find in the store and they went out of their way to find it for me.
I love coming to this store. Its neat, the sales attendants are friendly, you can always find everything and theres a good selection of merchandise. Love the music they play too.
The store is conveniently located on Newbury, right by the Hynes T stop. The store has a decent selection and sometimes has events with pizza or corn hole. The products are trendy and often interesting looking, but usually the quality isnt great and the clothes dont last too long. Its a good place to hit the sale rack to find bargains.
URBAN OUTFITTERS IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE STORE!! Even though the prizes are high there are great deals that you still can find... and the quality of the clothes are great! Excellent service too. There is a variety of clothes you can chose from depending on your personality!
Good sales..
Urban Outfitters is known for being overpriced, but usually, their sale section has good finds. This particular store, however, had a really tiny sale section when I went in. I was slightly disappointed, but otherwise, the staff were very nice and helpful, which redeemed the experience.
The workers were rude, the line took me 2 hours and my belt broken in the bag on the way home.
I am 50/50 on the cloths but the problem was the staff at checkout. The self checkout system is painful and the were completely unhelpful
Its a lil over priced in my opinion
Good vibes as soon as you enter the door
Love this urban outfitters. They always have new and exciting styles. Parking can be a nightmare around here though so plan accordingly.
Horrible experience. This happened in november but i blocked it out and had a flashback just now. I was getting a dress for my birthday and tried on a few things and i was by myself so i asked the guy in the dressing room if something looked cute (i thought it did) and he just laughed at me and was like hell no and i was humiliated. then i asked him if there was anything else in the store he thought would be cute (helloooo youre a sales associate its like, your job) then he just said i dont know so i walked out empty handed and shook. dont go here unless youre a size 00 college freshman who looks good in tape.
I freaking love this place!
Dealt with one bad employee and one awesome one. Store is medium level all around imo. Prices too high but cool stuff
This is yoru pretty typical urban store. It is one of the oldest in the country, and kind of looks it. They have a bargain basement (in the basement) that actually has some good deals. Check it out! They have lots of knick knacks as well
I can never walk past Urban without stopping in. The clothing selection never really impresses me but it is their selection of kooky home goods, novelty gifts and retro-esque toys that make this store fun to peruse. The staff as this location are friendly and helpful at this location.
Dont shop here much, buts a cool place at the end of newbury street. Went on a saturday evening, and it wasnt too busy. Employees were quick to ask if i needed help, but i was just looking around.
Nice atmosphere, lot of space, lot of different stuff from household to clothes and decoration...a bit pricey though
Not as cool as it was back in the 80s but still alternative.
Fun store. Very cramped.
I didnt go to UrbanOutfitters. Did someone use my credit card?
A bit pricey, but with a good sale section in which one can find quirky clothing and accessories for reasonable prices.
Terrible customer service.
Very nice shop. The workers were very friendly and the clothing selection was good.
Overpriced clothing that you can probably find somewhere else. However its very trendy and you can definitely get some inspiration here.
A big UO good for teenagers and College people.
Amazing staff and collection.
Great store and they have awesome things on sale!!!
Fun place to explore. You never know what youll find
This store was nice and had good views of Boston. The staff was useless though and essentially shooed people away.
Cool location with nice staff. Stop here for your novelty gifts!
Fun to browse, but be prepared for a challenge if you want to get anyones attention! Also, was disappointed that they hardly ever have my shoe size -- 10.
Convenient location. There is always a line during the weekends for the fitting rooms.
Dont know what to say about it so I am going to go.
Decent selection of clothing, but a lot of things are overpriced. The sale selection is much better in Harvard Square.
Good gear and prices are not to taxed
They hav great henna tattoos 💕💕
Amazing
Good service.
Always fun to browse their knickknacks
The dressing rooms are a disaster of clothing piles... A lot of this stuff is overpriced for the quality. Would rather shop at Primark downtown.
Good sales section.
Is okay location, I used to love the brand but the high price for novelty thing to much, store layout is just horrible
Solid selection and the store overall stays very clean and organized.
Wish their bargain selection was as big as the one in Cambridge.
Staff are certainly not the most helpful
Love this place!
Everything is so dusty in here. Wipe some stuff yo!
Good music section
Good but more expensive
Couldnt find clothes for men, most of the clothes were for women
Friendly staff, cool accessories
They have great socks!
Large Urban, nothing really separates it from other urabns
