Phillips Chocolates instantly became my favorite chocolate shop in Boston as soon as I found it. Its a small and unassuming place, but the candies are SO GOOD! My personal favorite is the milk chocolate almond turtle with sea salt. Ive been buying boxes for gifts and everyone whos tried them loved them.

Ok BEST CHOCOLATE EVER. I visited on my trip and wish I stocked up on more snacks.. so delicious! Candy and chocolate! I HIGHLY recommend stopping in!!

The best chocolate and fudge around! I used to go here as a kid with my mom for special occasions. They were amazing then and theyre amazing now. I no longer live close by, but they have a website and offer their candies to be shipped. Im so sad they dont have peanut butter fudge anymore. It was my absolute favorite. Seriously the best peanut butter fudge Ive ever had!

Love this place. To get a rough idea of their quality, and the loyal following built-up over the years with their shoppers, I am a 3rd generation customer....and I take my son there now. A member of my family has been shopping at Philips for more than 85 years! How many things in your life can you say that about?

I used to love this place but I am seriously considering no longer shopping year after my experience this year. First I ordered a Large Turtle basket online. I went to pick it up the next afternoon and the order was not ready. My mother was out running some errands the next day so she stopped by the Morrissey blvd store to pick up the basket and she was given a SMALL turtle basket.Next I went online to order a small turtle basket. Their website would not let me change the shipping recipient. So I called Customer Service where the first customer service representative hung up on me and told me they do not take orders over the phone (RUDE!). So I called back and got a customer service representative to assist me. Tonight I get a confirmation that the package was finally being shipped after over a week and they are sending the package to the WRONG ADDRESS !!! I tried calling customer service and I could only leave a message.OH....and you cannot leave a message for customer service because I keep getting an error message.As a business they control the customer experience and this year I am hugely disappointed. I will see how quickly they can get this resolved but If you can go pick up your order the next day I dont understand why it took over a week to ship out the package and why they keep screwing up.DISAPPOINTED !!!!

Quite a large selection of chocolate here. I got a box of pecan, cashew, and almond turtles that were a mixture of milk, dark, and white chocolates. Absolutely fantastic! Also got chocolate peanut butter chip cookies because why not? They even have regulation-size chocolate footballs. I shouldve gotten one. According to the lady that worked there, famous people like Mark Wahlberg and Adam Vinatieri have stopped in before. I can see why. Highly recommend.

Great chocolate here. You give a person a box of turtles from Phillips and your instantly there favorite person on EarthThey also sell candy bars that support disable veterans. All the money goes to the charity. Its a neat way of supporting a charity and given folks great chocolate.

Located on Morrissey blvd.dorchester.this is the best chocolates ever.I have been coming here since I was a young lad.the texture,taste is perfect.I have tried Belgian chocolate in a few shops and cant compare with Phillips. This is a must.

Just received two boxes shipped to us out of state of the sugar-free variety. They were packaged very nicely and beautifully handmade chocolates. However, its almost like a box full of all of the chocolates that you normally take a bite out of and put back when youre looking for the good chocolates.I didnt find any caramels or anything with nuts in it. It was mostly creams and jellies which I usually avoid completely. I had to break into several before I found one or two that I liked. For $31 a box I would assume they would be a higher-quality variety. These were a gift for my grandmother and she ended up giving one of the boxes to me because she didnt like them. We are originally from Massachusetts so this was a nice surprise once received, but unfortunately disappointing.

Incredible chocolate and would recommend going to the store to buy. The online service is horrible. The website locked me out, had to call to get it unlocked and the order status told me I have no orders even though I have 2. I’ve been waiting over 2 weeks for both my orders while others in my family ordered after me and already received theirs, although with not everything they wanted. I have called several times waiting on my order, supposedly waiting on 1 item. I was told on a Friday my order would shipped Monday. Monday comes and goes. Called Tuesday it will ship as a priority Wednesday. Called Wednesday morning, yes it will ship this morning. 5pm I get a called, “we ran out of this and that”. Still no shipped confirmation email. They were not prepared for an online bombardment even though we’ve been going through this pandemic for 10 months. So poorly managed. Still waiting.

6 at a time in the Store, limited on stock and social distance outside, but in a different World its the Best Chocolate around, Turtles, Chocolate Cherrys and a large assortment of other candies, Long time Customer Love it👍

Such a great neighborhood candy shop in Dorchester. I have been coming here for over 20 years for presents around the holidays. The chocolate turtles are one of the best items here at this shop. The lines for the holidays are worth the wait for you holiday candies.

If you like homemade chocolate and other candies then you have to check this place out. It is a staple and has been pumping out the most delicious confectionaries since 1925. If you havent heard of this place youre either from out of the area or from under a rock. The have a wide selection of things to choose from, the only problem is youll most likely keep finding something new to throw on the scale. My fiances entire family grew up in Southie and Phillips was the supplier of their holiday candy for most families in and around the area. Try it out, youll be back for more!

Way too much to choose from. The fudge was amazing. Very friendly staff. Thanks for helping us make the hard decision in what to get, which was a nice box of mixed fudge flavors and a nice brownie. Only thing is it is to far to drive from our home so we will just have to wait till next time we visit Boston.

Very good products, especially the chocolate chip cookies. Run by very bad management. They are always out of stock on any given item. Poor ability to forecast sales and dont hire enough people. Hoping someone will buy this business and run it correctly.

And, if you cant get to Dorchester to try some you can stop by the Boston Stone Gift Store located right by Faneuil Hall at 1 Marshall Street in downtown Boston.

I have been eating Phillips unsurpassed candy since I was 4 years old. My mum used to take me every Saturday to watch the turtles being made.There is no better gift to a loved one or to yourself.

Phillips will hands down be the best chocolate youve ever had! I always leave with no less than 30 turtles and, the next day, pass on the remaining 4-5 turtles as gifts! Try the cashew ones! Wahlberg and Jimmy Butler approved!

My wife really does love their chocolates. However, they processed my order without having the inventory to meet demand. They took payment and labeled the order shipped. I would not place any online orders until they modernize the site to show how much stock they have and to automatically reject orders when demand cannot be met.
