Avoid at all costs. Disorganized systems and terrible service. I came in to pickup two phones, waiting about 25 minutes, only to find out that, for some reason only one was there. The manager told me that I needed to sign off on terms for the second one, but the system would let me do it until the next day. So I told him to cancel the whole order. He said he couldn’t do that either because the order was in process and that my only choice was to come back the next day. I explained that that wouldn’t be workable because I live 30 minutes away. He said there was no choice, had no comprehension of how ridiculous that was and didn’t show the least bit of empathy for the challenge caused by Verizon. He then proceeded to explain that it must have been my fault because no other customer has problems, which is obviously not the case given their 3.4 rating on google business. Now I’ll need to waste a couple more hours with then tomorrow.———-Follow up: based on replies to other comments, I knew the owner would give me a very generic reply, without any substance or really trying to straighten out the situation. There is clearly no interest in customer service at this location and the reply is just for positive PR.
Great, efficient, friendly service from associate to security who got the door on my way in and out.
I had a very good experience with the rep that help me with my service. He was funny, friendly and courageous.
Avoid this store if you want buy Apple products. They don’t do returns at this store for apple products. they lie to you when they are selling you apple products by saying you can return it but they don’t tell you at that you can’t return it at this store.
Very money hungry and rude. Not accommodating or considerate. Unless I was buying an overpriced $1,300 IPhone 13 Pro ! The store manager refused to give me a SIM card for my Blackberry Z-30. Another Hispanic sales representative was so ghetto and kept interrupting me,, even though he had no idea what I was taking about!! Remember, a level 2 technician from Verizon Wireless made me an appointment. But my experience was horrible!! The manager actually told me to have a 5G SIM card shipped.to my house??!! So, I just walked out!!I returned back to this same store a week later, and a caucasian gentlemen was very polite and treated me with respect.I finally upgraded one of my lines to a 5G Samsung S-10 256GB phone. I bought it on Ebay in mint condition, for only $244!! It retails for $700!!!!!This time, the gentleman gave me a tool, to pull out the SIM card slot and I called Verizon Wireless customer service and they finished the activation of my device.Very good experience this time, it depends who happens to be working on the day you visit. But the consistency is gone!! Because some of the sales representatives are too focused on money and less concerned with Great customer service!!
Very friendly and helpful staff i had a question and needed to charge my phone and Greg helped me through the process when another verizon associate in IL did a half effort. Thanks Greg and company for a job well done!
I was there for almost an hour and a half trying to fix my texting and they ended up telling me to call tech support
I was a bit hesitant to come to this store due to the mediocre review rate, but I had an excellent experience! Osbourne was a wonderful consultant, and he ensured that I had everything I needed without pushing anything on me. Not to mention the warm feeling of the store since the renovation. I would definitely recommend this store!
I was twice in this location and Gregory Cheek helped me a lot on both occasions. He is very meticulous person, gave me all possible options on upgrade of my cell phone. It turned out that he is the store manager. Thank you!
Such a pleasing helpful staff you guys have. thanks for helping us well
I went yesterday 6-6-20 to the Verizon store in Washington st and they were very helpful. They let my wife and I in the store even though they only allow one person due to the pandemic. However, they made exception because my wife is pregnant. They provided an outstanding service. The survey only allow to give 10 out of 10 but they deserve more than 10. Karl and Tyris helped us,Karl was the main person doing the transaction but Tyris helped us as well. Both kept us informed and great conversation. What a great team work:). Both of them should be a role model for other Verizon stores employees. My wife and I stayed almost 2 hours and we never felt the time, they They were very professional and friendly. Our transaction was complicated but they made very smooth. I wish not just their manager to read this review,I wish their executive to read this review. I will never go to any Verizon store except this one and I believe Karl and Tyris set a very high expectation for an outstanding customer experience. Keep the good work and thank you again for service my wife and I today.
If I could give them no stars I would! Poor customer service. No eagerness to help clients. Don’t know how this location is still open..
Osborne was so helpful, honest and straightforward - not typical words I use to describe a salesperson! Very grateful for his guidance when deciding on a new phone.
Abusive staff made errors that cost me my essential work phone. They deliberately chose not to solve the problem. They would not answer the phone when their bosses called them to instruct them to help me. Dangerous drug addicts will accost you while you wait outside the doors. Avoid this location.
The staff were basically just staves. I told them i want to pay off my phone and bill at the same time, and they just told me call 611, on your phone. now, i was on hold from 4:00pm to 4:22pm, and I stayed in the store premises. For no apparent valid reason, after the grueling wait, they told me my account was locked and I have to submit proof of identity. Going back and forth, they told me my account had suspicious activity. I have never shared my account with anyone, I am the only one in my account, and I only have 1 line, with only 1 phone, and it is always with me, 24/7. Basically, getting it to rain with offerings to the gods is a lot easier than paying off your phone at Verizon. Nothing in the end was accomplished; will go to another store, hoping they are not manned by the garbage this store has. Also, will disconnect with Verizon as soon as possible. Worst Network in the USA.
Ive been here twice and had a very positive experience once and a rather negative experience once.My first experience was to buy a new phone. The salesperson was knowledgable, patient, spent a lot of time with me. Overall the experience was excellent. Despite the store being very busy my appointment started on-time and I was very pleased with how things turned out.My second experience was yesterday and it was less than acceptable. To keep it short, despite having an appointment and store being much less full, I had a significant wait. Once I was seen, the employee seemed determined to get rid of me. I couldnt even get him to take a quick look at the problem I was having. Despite reading online about many people who had the same issue as me (some on the Verizon forums) the employee insisted it was the first issue of the kind he had heard in over 1000 phones sold. No willingness to look online, no willingness to ask a colleague. It was a very disappointing visit. The one bright spot was that he mentioned that there was a MegaMobile down the street and those guys took a look at the phone and were able to help me solve my issue.
One lady employee just kicked me out of Verizon for no reason. I was doing nothing wrong. Just wanted to look at some of the newest and hottest devices. Such a rude employee.
Excellent staff. No wait on a weekend day! Great selection.
The staff was very helpful when I needed a simple phone number transfer. Also they helped me exchange a phone case that I purchased the day before without the box. Will come back for help when I have phone issues. Btw the s9 is a PHENOMENAL phone!!
When I opened my account here the girl who helped me was extremely helpful. Every time after that, Ive had the worst customer service from Verizon. Both over the phone & at this location. The workers always look disinterested in what Im asking them. They dont look at me. Theyre staring into space. Its irritating. I really hate Verizon. Im glad my contract is ending. Everyone I know loves Verizon, but Ive had nothing but bad customer service for 2 years.
Our rep was very helpful in setting up our familys service today.
Super busy Verizon store onWashington St, they could use more staff to help during peak hours. The salesman who sold my daughter her Pixel 3 provided misinformation on importing contacts from an iPhone.
Staff are friendly enough but lack detailed knowledge of the phones. You typically dont have to wait at all or long to get help from an associate and they dont try to sell you things you dont need, which is nice. They charge you an activation fee of $30 because Verizon enjoys nickel-and-diming their customers.
Great staff
Friend ordered phone online and got an email confirming it was ready. Get there and nothing was ready. Ended up waiting 30 minutes before a guy walked in the back and got a phone. It was no effort on their part but we still had to wait? Makes no sense.
I was only looking and sales person left me alone so I was satisfied. They did have a good selection to look at.
Popped in to upgrade the wife’s phone. Didn’t have time to do it before our trip to Boston. Instantly greeted and helped. We were sold the right accessories for the new phone, told about the promotions and never felt pressured for additional sales. Walked out with a new phone for the wife in under 30 minutes.
The folks at Washington Street were very helpful and got me up and running with an iPhone. Do them and yourself a favor and dont go in at lunch time - they get overrun with people at lunch. I went in first thing in the morning and it was smooth sailing.
Wilki tried some high pressure sales tactics that I found so offensive that I chose to leave, rather than getting a new phone. They didn’t have the one I wanted in stock and I expressed concerns with having one shipped to my house due to theft. I asked about Verizon’s policy if my package was stolen and he was very curt in saying that there was a process and he didn’t know what it would be (essentially a “that’s not my job” response). He then became combative and argumentative, pressuring me to just do it anyway, even though I had already explained that my worries were that he couldn’t tell me about what happens in the case of porch thieves: “How do you get other packages? Why not for this?”He told me that they might be getting a new shipment in but didn’t know when it would come. I was surprised that he wouldn’t offer to check to get actual details on that. I’m sure someone in the store would have that information.I conceded to get another phone instead because I do need a new one and then he got pushy about insurance with threats like “I saw a guy walk out of here it and drop his new phone on the sidewalk right there. I can’t do anything about that.” “This other person on the account is paying for it—why wouldn’t you?”I said to his face that I thought he was being pushy and he all but threw his hands up. It was clear that once I called him on it and wasn’t going to fall into his tricks that he wanted nothing to do with me.He told me that I should just walk by other stores around to ask them if they had the phone in stock instead and seemed angered when I decided to save myself hours of walking store to store by calling them instead.Overall a very disappointing experience. The level of customer service at so many phone companies has declined lately because they know that cell service is no longer a luxury but a necessity and this store seems to be leading the way in high-pressure tactics from representatives who don’t actually have (or even try to get) the information that customers need. The unfortunate thing is that I still need a new phone and don’t have the ability to go to many other stores in the area.**Update: I forgot to mention that he also connected my current phone to their open wi-fi network, which is something that I as a policy dont do for security reasons as advised my numerous security experts and former employers. I objected to it and expressed my security concerns and he waived them off with a simple, our network is very secure.
Bought a new phone from a different Verizon store just a few weeks ago and started experiencing problems with it. Walked in on my lunch break during the week and was helped by Brandon.Brandon was super friendly, listened to my diagnosis of the issues I was having, and suggested a factory reset and helped me peel all of my contacts safely off my phone before wiping it, and if that didnt work, offered to replace it. After about 35 minutes I had my phone working as it should, the newest software updated correctly, and all of my contacts back. Great customer service by the whole team there, and Brandon especially. Would definitely stop by there again if I had other issues or questions.
This location management sucks
So Ive been hunting for the iPhone 7+ since it supposedly dropped but wasnt anywhere in stores. I called a few different locations before getting in touch with a woman at this location that told me if I showed up right at 10 am on any given morning, I might have better luck getting my hands on a phone. So this past Tuesday I did just that, even though I had a meeting at 10:30. I walked in and was immediately referred to Scott, was more than accommodating when I told him all I wanted was the iPhone 7+ and that I needed to be out in 20 minutes. He took care of everything super fast, wasnt pushy about extra products, and honored my time constraint. Couldnt be happier about my new phone and the excellent service at this Verizon location, thanks again, Scott!
I walked in having issues with my brand new Google Pixel 3 and all I was offered was to have a refurbished phone overnighted to me. This was a brand new phone less than a week old...and they offered me a refurb. No thanks. Other customers with Pixel 3 issues have been getting in-store exchanges for their brand new phones at other stores. The greeter person was very patient and spent quite a bit of time explaining why he refused to exchange my phone. Its worth traveling across town to their flagship store, theyre a little more helpful there.
I have been a Verizon customer since 2009, and I had the absolute Worst experience with this location. I ordered a phone on Black Friday and was told in my emails I received that I had 3 days to pick up my new device. I even got a call from STANLEY on Sunday 11/25 saying that I had UNTIL the end of the next day to pick up my new device. However, on the morning of 11/26 I received an email saying that my order was cancelled.Luckily, I was able to get the same promotion for a new phone at a Best Buy, but that visit also included being on the phone with someone from Verizon, since the cancelled order had rendered my account as not being eligible for an upgrade, until that cancelled order cleared.3 day time period for me to pick up my phone - Friday to Sunday3 day definition for my cancelled order to be cleared from their system - Friday to Monday.Had I not been able to get the phone I wanted at the desired price point on Cyber Monday then I most certainly would have LEFT Verizon for AT&T
Too hard to get good help and the staff could he more knowledgeable about the products.
The people that work there are rude and act like they dont want to work. Ive been with Verizon for more than years. This is the worst store Ive visited by far. If you can go to a different store please do
Braden was first class in explaining not only Verizons billing system (not for the faint of heart) and the iPhone 6s which I subsequently purchased. His Southern accent and Alabama roots do much to explain his unaccustomed cordiality and service.
They were willing to help with questions but they keep the iPhones locked downwithout a demo or dummy phone to hold and feel before you buy
Poor customer service. I went in last night to ask for assistance with replacing a phone that is inoperable (doesnt make calls effectively, very short battery life, etc.). A man, whom I can only assume is the manager (though he never introduced himself, nor was he wearing a name tag) refused to help me unless I was an account manager, but also refused to assist me in determining if I was an account manager (which I am). He then sent over another man who was slightly more helpful in that he helped me find out I was an account manager, but he proceeded to give me no options other than to wait until my upgrade 3 months later. He did not bother to see if I had interest in altering my plan slightly to allow me to get an upgrade (which Verizons phone customer service ended up doing for me), advancing my upgrade for a predetermined cost, nor did he even try to sell me a phone at full price. They were rude, disrespectful, and most of all, completely unhelpful. I would suggest taking your business elsewhere.
This store is the worst store ever! 18 months ago I had to leave Verizon. I was told that if I leave my iPhone at the store (which was on the edge agreement) that I would not have to up for the phone. So I did this.Fast forward 18 months and Im still getting billed for the phone. The phone that was left at the store. Verizon stole my phone and then proceeded to bill me for the phone they stole. It has ruined my credit score and they company wont owe up to it. Hands down the worst experience. No one should go here. Please dont do it to yourself. They will steal from you then make you pay for it!
Incredibly rude and unhelpful staff. Made us call Verizon customer service instead of doing anything themselves. Once we were on the phone, they turned up the music in the store so we couldnt even hear customer service.
STAY AWAY!!! Horrendous Customer service. We were the only 2 customers in the store. It was 1pm on a Sunday. There were 4 ppl working. Not one of them came up to us. I finally had to go up to them and ask for help. They proceeded to argue in front of me about who had to take us!! When the kid finally came over to “help”, we said we’re looking at upgrading to the iPhone XR and he said what do you want to know? Honestly at that point we were like nevermind. We knew we weren’t going to get good service so we left. I’ll be heading to a different Verizon store.
Went in here because my pixel phone has been having an issue where the screen wont come on, I bought it 9 months ago so it is well within the manufacturers warranty (12 months). The woman at the counter (blue hair tips) sent me away the first time I came in, because I am not the business account holder. I returned the next day with someone whos name is on the business account and spoke to the same employee, assuming that this would be faster than reexplaining the issue. She first tried to tell me it wasnt within warranty, then that it was right on the very edge of the warranty and then she said that because I dont have insurance, I would have to replace it via Google.I suspected this was not correct, so I stayed in the store and called Google. Getting through and confirming the issue etc took around an hour, after which time the lady at google offers to replace it - but also suggests that replacing via verizon will be faster, and that they are obliged to do so because it is under warranty. The verizon website also confirms this.I went back to the counter (3rd time now) and a different employee now tells me that it is covered and he processed the replacement. This man - Ziad - was helpful and efficient, the only redeeming feature of this otherwise awful store. After getting this sorted I spoke with the manager who didnt look me in the eye while talking to me, and made up excuses for his employee without listening to what had happened. If I could give this place zero stars I would do so. I hope they are ashamed.
Staff was useless
Went in this store to look at phones and after about 10 min or so I was approached by aggressive security guard who walked over and said times up, get out. When i asked what he was talking about and tried to explain that I was interested in buying a phone, the manager came over and barked theres a 10 minute time limit in the store, you had a chance to buy something, now its time to leave, get out. I explained that i was there to buy a phone but need more time to look before making any commitment but the manager didnt care. When i asked so your not going to sell me a phone? the manager said thats right, now leave. There is no sign anywhere in or outside of the store that says there is a time limit to buy something. I have been a loyal Verizon Wireless customer for years and this experience has left me disgusted and angry. For Verizon to embarrass a paying customer in front of a whole store and try to pressure me into buying something like a cell phone within a 10 minute time frame is WRONG. I am now a proud customer of Cricket Wireless. So long Verizon, keep losing your customers to competitors through your lack of respect and basic customer service skills, though its clear you dont care about us anyways.
No deals here, but they have everything as advertised. Staff is usually pleasant and pretty helpful. Generally not a long wait.
Other than the wait, our sales representative was friendly and helpful.
I was very ☺ with Verizon on Washington St. Rosalee very very helpful as and pleasent👍
Simba was extremely helpful and fixed my problem very quickly by taking initiative and being knowledgable. Thank you
While the shopping experience was pretty standard I was flat out lied to by the sales staff about how the new monthly payment plan for phones works and how the insurance works. Now I have a new phone with a broken screen and I have to spend a ridiculous amount of money to replace it through the insurance plan
Do not go to this verizon. The staff dont talk to you unless you go searching for them. I was in the store browsing to buy a new phone for 10 minutes before a staff member even recognized I was there. I asked to see a Samsung Galaxy S9+ that wasnt bolted to the wall so I could handle it, and the staff member said Nope, theyre screwed on, theres nothing we can do. Youll have to go to BestBuy if you want to actually hold one. Seriously Verizon? Thats the best you can offer? Horrible customer service, if you get any at all. Do not go here.
Not much luck here, never seem to have what I need.
Showed up to replace a defective charger they sold me. Made me wait for an hour and serviced people ahead of me that said they wanted to buy a new phone. Terrible terrible service.
No motorola edge plus on display
Verizons is often a hit or miss. The issues are more a lack of products on site and how the company train the staff to operate. Ive had to leave the verizon store on a number of occasions to get what I needed from their competitors. If I can get what I need from a competitor theres no reason to patronize the Verizons store.
Been to this store six times - have had zero productive experiences.
Everyone for that store are very useless people. they never hear you, they lie to u and they act like u like Verizon more then Verizon needs you. came there twice I got out of there twice frustrated. if u want a better service go to the one in backbay.
Horrible customer service. I felt like I was inconveniencing the sales clerk.
Had a tablet with Verizon almost ten years ago. Came back and was treated with great professionalism and given post pay credit.
Thank You I am a pending client of Verizon I appreciate your kin-servicers and attorney level service men, I do have a concern on purchasing prior to activation and also adjusting my mobile into a pager services for my data only.Thank You successfully,Francia B.-Franco
The guy that was helping me didnt know anything about CDMA or GSM phones or how they work. Im an IT guy and I know quite a bit about how unlocking phones work and they were so unhelpful, I just wanted to find out if I could unlock my phone with them. And....of course they tried to belittle me as if I didnt know what I was talking about. They were so full of themselves.Happy I decided not to go with Verizon, their customer service is truly atrocious now.I would not recommend this place, just go to another Verizon store!
Very kind and helpful staff. This is one of the good ones!
Understaffed, long wait times and not very helpful. Definitely go elsewhere.
Just replaced my phone with the able assistance of Justin Bieland, who was informative, knowledgeable and patient . IN other words, he is the Lebron James of the that store.
Phone broke so went in here to check out what they had, instant feeling like im wasting there time just being in the building. 1 person helping customer with phone(waiting for system to register new phone i think) and another was talking to a guy about upgrades. So i ask what i assume was the manager for help and he proceeds to hem and haw around the store for about 5 minutes trying to find ANYONE else to deal with us so he doesnt have to. finally he tells first employee to help us and he will stand there like a fool waiting for the phone to register... ok... so employee trys to help us only to instant cop an attitude when its clear we have no interest in a flagship $600+ phone.. we want 2 phones that will be about $500 total(we were willing to throw $500 on the spot). He proceeds to tell us we cant buy them outright and will have to pay monthly even though we dont want to. Then after we make it clear we dont want todo that, he says they now dont have any in stock.. He then tells us we can order it online and activate it without coming in, felt alot like he was saying get out and dont come back so we did, and we wont. I didnt go to your store to be told rudely to use your website... what a waste of an afternoon.
It support was really good. My problem was solved.
Your staff is top notch.
Quick service, friendly helpful staff.
Two hours of misery, filled with misinformation, confusion and error. Our salesperson gave us incorrect or misleading information about costs and availability. The first time he processed the order, it became corrupted, he said, and so he would have to refund and begin again. Not only was there no refund, but a 2nd phone appeared in the mail today, attached to a different phone number on our plan! After considerable time on the phone with Verizon Customer Care, it seems straightened out, but has been a huge waste of time and inconvenience. Awful.
Chris provided great service
Super helpful specialists.
Very good customer service
Staff is very knowledgeable
Horrible experience with representative named Zied. Very rude and condescending.
Verizon is by far the most expensive and they really do suck
Staff never assisted me so i left shop poor service
Great staff
Underwhelming. Unhelpful. Waste of time.
Excellent customer service
Great communication
They were awful every aspect of my visit was the pitts
They take your name down and add it to a wait list. Sometimes the wait can be lengthy but you will be served.
Great place
Why does it cost a hundred dollars a month to have a cellphone?
It takes time to get help but they usually solve it no matter what
Great customer service
Nice people
Didnt ask us if we needed help
I walked in because my phone wasnt working. They had it fixed in seriously 10 seconds. Ive never been and out of a phone store so fast.
Why do new customers get deals but customers of 10 years have to pay an activation fee when they buy a new phone?
Very helpful
It is My Phone COMPANY !!!
Friendly and helpful
Verizon sucks!
Ok
Nice
Typical Verizon store
Boring 😴😴😴😴😴
I am happy. I did not want a fixed contract but just a prepaid. Verizon is said to have the best coverage in the US, so off to the store. Staff was friendly and helpful, did not want to bother me overpriced mobile phone, but has geared to my needs. He helped me to set up the phone and so I was ready to go. Everything super😊👍
