The worst customer service. The lady wasnt helpful at all.Terrible customer service
Great store - Excellent yarn! Really helpful staff!
After Stitch and Tickle, I also stoped my Bead + Fiber and bought mitten and socks. They are so cute. I will go back next weekend to check out their bags and sweaters. If you like knitting, check out this store. They have supply for everything.
Wonderful place! The staff is very helpful and the shop has everything you would ever need bead related. If you are looking for a shop to purchase some beads or handmade crafts, bead and fiber is the place. 10/10 would recommend.
It has a crafting table as well for people to work at.
I love this place! The owner, Larissa Callahan is the nicest person ever!💜💜💜
Absolutely amazing selection of beads and a knowledgeable staff. Great customer service, Larissa goes above and beyond to help customers get what they need.
Ive had a few really positive experiences in this store. They have lots of cool beads and a variety of styles. Its not cheap, but its also not outrageous, so if you are into jewelry-making, and are looking for unique items to use, youll enjoy this place. I have also only had positive experiences with the customer service too, so Im not sure what the other reviewers are referring to, but the woman I always see there has always been very helpful and friendly! I love this place! I did show up once and they were closed during regular hours so I would recommend calling first if youre schlepping out from far away!
Love this beautiful shop! The bead selection is extension and beautiful. They have all kinds of yarn—hand dyed wool, yak, alpaca, and cotton, and any kind of knitting tool you might need. They have events every week. I went to Sip and Stitch on a Friday night where I got help with a new scarf pattern I’m knitting. Sara, the manager, was so patient and helpful. I’m a beginner but walked out feeling like I know what I’m doing. The owner Larissa also knows everything about beading and jewelry making, so I ended up making a pair of earrings too.Cannot recommend highly enough!
Absolutely wonderful.
Amazing place. Really unique beads of all origins and sizes. Fantastic staff who helped me find everything I needed and sifted through a bead bin with me.It has a crafting table as well for people to work at.10/10 becoming a regular here.
Went in to find kumihimo clasps and there was an incredible selection of beautiful clasps, along with a great variety of beads, cord, yarn and fiber. The owner was very friendly and kind, and not only helped me find my clasp, but also recommended glue and techniques and then actually glued the clasp on for me while showing me how to do it, free of charge. My mom’s new necklace looks beautiful and I’m really excited to visit again next time I’m in Boston.
My daughter and I had a great time in this store. The owner was very helpful, and patient with my daughter. The yarn is on the pricey side, but it worth it. Can wait to start my next project, I would highly recommend shopping here.
I cannot speak more highly of this place . Larissa is a real gem 💎
This is my favorite store in Boston. The owner, Andrea is helpful, extremely nice and always willing to answer any questions you might have. They have a wide range of craft materials that you cannot find anywhere else in the vicinity of Boston. I love this place, definitely go and take a look!!
Love this bead store! The new owner and her staff are all so nice and helpful! I shop there often...she has a great selection of unusual beads and so much more!
What a wonderful afternoon I spent at bead + fiber. Really helpful knowledgeable staff. Yes beads are more expensive here. Because they should be. This is not ACMoore plastic covered beads. These are actual stones. Some incredibly unusual. I’ve shopped in New York I’ve shopped all over the tri-state area they have unusual in some cases unique bead you can’t find anywhere else. And it’s worth paying for. I’ll be back in a month
Andrea understands how to do everything! She is a great teacher and makes extraordinary jewelry. With all the new materials you will find, youll have to take a class in beading or felt making.
Andrea is rude to customers unless they are spending tons of money. DO NOT ask her a how-to question (even a simple one) unless youre willing to pay for a class. She is unwilling to help anyone/offer advice without charging for the information. Its a shame because the shop is full of FANTASTIC merchandise not seen in many shops. Best advice to new customers of Bead + Fiber? Enjoy the fabulous array of product then look for it online and avoid asking the owner for any help.
The new owner, Larissa is great to work with. She takes the time to listen and is open to new ideas. Bead and Fiber could not be in better hands!
I wanted to learn to crochet with beads. I was going to see if I could teach myself and then if not take a class. The woman teaching the class told me in a rude tone You will NOT be able to do it without my class then she walked off. The beads are very expensive. The store is more expensive than any store in the area. STAY AWAY!!!
Never going back. Im pretty disappointed with their return policy. I spent a bit more on their beads than I would have at other shops because they were pretty and everyone inside was friendly. Got them home and was horribly disappointed to realize they werent actually beads. While it looked like there was a hole, it didnt go all the way through on any of the beads! And when I returned in-store, they were curt, unapologetic, and only offered store credit.
Prices are very high. Great stock and unusual beads.
Large selection and helpful friendly staff
Going crazy looking for Thermal beads went all over boston then stopped by Bead Fiber website said they carried them went in and no Thermal beads the new owner was very nice and told she will look into it..
