I picked up a lovely new Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra with a Blue Dial from Samuel at Shreve, Crump & Low and I cannot recommend the experience enough. This was my first time buying a watch of this quality and Samuel made sure to go through and showcase the craftsmanship and quality of the piece, answering any questions I had with an extremely apparent expertise and in a jovial manner. It was easy to tell he truly loves the watches in his care, more than happy to show and explain the other watches in the stores collection with me at different points while my new purchase was getting sized. The inhouse watchmaker was not in when I went (a Monday) but Samuel cared enough that I left with the watch sized properly that he immediately reached out among his highly qualified watchmaker contacts. He must be doing something right because not less than ten minutes later I was greeted by his other colleague watchmaker who was happy to help with my situation. He definitely understood the impact of the whole experience and did just an absolutely phenomenal job fitting it to my wrist and then also making the adjustments deftly and without issue. Thanks Brian! I was in awe with the watch before coming in, and yet left even more pleased than I could have expected. Samuel, along with Shreve, Crump & Low, will be my first contacts going forward with any watch purchase! Highly recommended!

This store is absolutely fantastic! They carry a wide variety of watch brands and more importantly, people are extremely nice. I visited them twice on this Monday. Each time I stepped onto the second floor, I was warmly greeted and never felt pushed to make a purchase. I think this is what people should expect when it comes to buying a luxury watch, or actually everything in general, and they did it very well. Furthermore, I was kindly helped by Brian and successfully bought the new IWC pilot chronograph from him. I agree with many other reviewers here for Brian, he is certainly knowledgable and professional. After talking with him for just several minutes in the morning, I could already tell he is a reliable person who would take care of me. Overall, he patiently guided me through some new pieces form this brand and tried his best to meet my expectations. I never felt rushed or pressured during our conversations, and I would never thought it to be that smooth to buy my first watch. I believe this is a great start of our long-term relationship, I see myself buying more watches from him in the future. Meanwhile, I highly recommend everyone to visit this store and meet with Brian if you were planning to own a new timepiece. This is the greatest place to go in this area!

The watch I purchased was in the window and my wonderful salesperson, Samuel Grosso, found it immediately. When I returned the next day, I spied a watch in the display case and bought that too. This is my first time leaving a review. Had an excellent experience here. Everyone was very nice and polite from the guy at the entrance to the Omega gentlemen who greeted us and to, most importantly, Susan who I worked with during the purchase of a very nice piece of Zenith watch. I first had a phone call with her, during which she described details of the watch with patience. She is very friendly and professional, and she leaves you space to think and make decision. After that I decided to come in and got the watch in the same day. Huge shout out to Susan.During waiting for my watch to be ready I noticed all the other customers were also well treated. Other staffs are just as nice —- they don’t treat customers differently based on their appearance (the salesperson from the last watch dealer I went to started “scanning” us as soon as we came in), and they offer hospitality while not making you feel compelled to make any purchase. The atmosphere here is very relaxed.The watches being sold here have been taken good care of and are in perfect condition. The store itself is shiny, exquisite with its own grace of history. I would definitely recommend to others and make it my first go-to place for timepieces.

Jessie actually took the time to think of a creative way to make my earrings easier to wear than their original clasp mechanism. She was fantastic. Great experience all around.

Many years ago, I bought an add-a-pearl necklace from Shreve, Crump & Low for my daughter. Each year, I return the necklace to this store and they restring the pearls, adding a new one for each of her birthdays. This is a tradition started by my mother, for my sister and me, more than 40 years ago. I am so happy to be able to continue this special birthday gift for my own daughter. The staff, including Sasha R., have been incredibly friendly and helpful, and always take great care of this special necklace, even wrapping it so beautifully so its ready to give as a gift. I highly recommend this store, and suggest looking into their add-a-pearl program for your own children!

I picked up the 2021 Speedmaster and Brian Walker was great at every step. I stopped in about a week before and he walked me through some of the different Omega watches and was just great to talk to. I had an incredible experience with Susan Murotake-Rollins on an Omega purchase. I am pretty knowledgeable when it comes to watches but being I was with my parents celebrating my graduation, Susan made the experience memorable. I worked with Louis a while back to purchase an Omega watch, and had an excellent experience on all counts. I visited this store last weekend to check out Omega watches. I was greeted by Brian Walker at the watch section of the store. He is extremely knowledgeable on watches and had a lot of patience in answering all of my questions and showing me different watches to try on. I found the watch I really wanted and he gave me enough time to decide without putting any pressure or rushing me even if they had to keep the store open beyond closing hours which was really nice of them. Before the year-end holidays, I wanted to buy a new Omega watch, just released. I contacted Shreve, Crump & Low, and they very promptly arranged to special order it from Omega USA, because this new model had not yet reached the stores. The watch arrived and I was promptly notified. When I went to the shop to pick it up I was greeted warmly, and the formalities were done quickly and professionally. Since this was my first time in the shop, I also took the time to look at all the show cases and was impressed by the wide range of really fine watches on display. This was a very satisfying experience for me, and I have no doubt that Ill be going back there the next time I am looking for another top-quality watch.

Shreve, Crump & Low was well recommended as a trustworthy jeweler and I had a positive experience resizing a ring. They had a quick turnaround with a good quality result.

I’d highly recommend Shreve, Crump & Low after working with Samuel Grosso on an Omega bracelet order. Sam provided a prompt response and made the buying process efficient and easy. When I went to the store to pick up the bracelet the staff were polite and welcoming. The watchmaker who switched out my bracelet worked incredibly fast and made sure the fit was perfect. This was a great experience, and I will be back for my next high-end watch purchase.

I called the store two times today to inquire about a watch. Each time, I was transferred to the watch department where no one picked up. I decided to stop by the store in person (second floor where the watches are). One sales person was busy with customers (seated at a table). The other sales man was on his personal mobile phone, did not bother to say hi. I saw the watch I wanted (a Panerai) but the salesman who was not busy did not bother attending me. To add insult to injury, the phone rang on the floor and, again, nobody picked up.

I had struggled for months to locate a special edition Omega watch. Within a few days, Lou found it for me. There were only nine of these watches in the country and no more were being manufactured. It was amazing. Lou is very knowledgable, extremely patient and just a real nice guy. He has a customer for life !

Today, I bought a beautiful Omega Planet Ocean 600M Chronograph from Angelika at Shreves. It was a very positive experience. The store has a huge selection of luxury brands watches on its second floor with hundreds of fine watches on display. I especially liked their selection of Omega watches and appreciated the many options I had.The staff their was very friendly but my salesperson, Angelika, was superb. I am thoroughly disappointed by the treatment by, and service at Shreve, Crump and Low. I was stuck with a woman named Susan on the watch floor, who insulted me by showing me every watch I could not buy. This was incredibly disappointing from a household name like Shreve, Crump and low. I cannot believe someone as rude as her could be employed there. I will never step foot in there again.

Ive purchased both a watch and engagement ring from here and my experience with both was awesome. The staff here are extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, and fair. The engagement ring work was incredible, I worked with Brian Walker and he was able to help me pick a diamond, mock up a custom setting, work on a shorter deadline (4 weeks!), and stayed in constant contact with me the entire time. The ring is perfect, and my now fiancé loves it! I would highly recommend using Shreve and working with Brian, and Ill definitely be going back (for more watches).

Amazing experience at the Newbury location. I’ve gone twice to get my items repaired - one watch and one bracelet. Caroline was super friendly and knowledgeable about the repairs I needed.I brought one piece in to get repaired and the estimated return time was 4 days later. I told Caroline it was for a birthday and needed urgent fixes and she was awesome enough to get it repaired and returned to me 2 days later! My wife and I bought our beautiful wedding bands here from Jamie. That was a wonderful experience. The customer service here, in particular, is stellar. I’m always helped promptly and kindly. They take their work seriously and I appreciate that. Caroline could not be sweeter. I’ll keep bringing anything that needs repairs here.

I purchased an Omega with the help of Mike Shaw just before Christmas. The watch had a small manufacturing defect that Mike and his team took care of immediately. Although technically I should have had to deal with Omega directly (I had already bought the watch and the warranty was in my name) Mike and his colleagues took all of that hassle off my hands and delivered a new watch within days. Knowledgeable service, great advice and people who stand behind the products they sell. Will recommend!

We were nicely greeted by an incredible sales associate, Susan.She took a great amount of pride and time to allow me to find the perfect ring.She shared with us a great amount of knowledge.We also enjoyed her immense knowledge of all the many watches. Were cant thank her enough.

I purchased my wife’s engagement ring here and had a great experience. Kelly who’s since left no longer works here. He was great.Went in yesterday for a minor adjustment to the ring and was planning to get a Christmas gift too but on my way downstairs nobody was wearing masks so I left as soon as the service was done. Until covid is over I’d skip this place.This was a 5 star review until yesterday but the group there now doesn’t have me anxious to return with so many other options.

I bought an Omega watch in this store in May 2018 and the watch stopped working in Sep 2019. I highly recommended against buying watches in this store. Please buy a watch in the boutique if you can - that will make your repair experience much easier.Bad experiences with the repair at this store:1) The battery run out within 16 months of the purchase; this is extremely unusual according to Omega boutique store repair expert. This implies that the watch is already in bad condition at the time of sale2) Plus they charged additional $180 for water resistance repair, despite the fact that this watch ever touched water.3) The repair took 7 weeks plus, even though they promised only 4 weeks when I handed in the watch for repair4) In an Omega boutique store, you dont have to bring in a repair card. Their computers stored all the customer information. But Shreve, Crump & Low said they did not retain customer transaction details and they required physical card for repair. Less convenient.

I recently worked directly with Mike Shaw on the purchase of a Vacheron timepiece. Outstanding buying experience from start to finish. We discussed various options in great detail and I felt like the goal was not just to buy something, but also to really understand the components and history behind the watches. Mike did a great job guiding me through the process and made sure every single detail was perfect. Highly recommend visiting the shop...first class and top notch.

My fiance and I have visited Shreve, Crump, & Low several times throughout our engagement and wedding ring buying process. All the staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We have had the opportunity to work repeatedly with Susan Rollins, and she has been amazing with us! Her enthusiasm for her job is infectious! He is the most knowledgeable horologist in Boston. I take all my watches to him.Matt is one of the best salespeople in Boston. Easy to work with, well informed about the industry and friendly.My go to place.

I spent a good hour and a half in store with Mike Shaw. He was calm and enthusiastic, and excited to talk to two watch enthusiasts who were just browsing- he obviously understands the importance of a working relationship to have a repeat customers who come back to you for all watch needs. The collection is great too, most of the classics and some specialty pieces. Definitely worth checking out.

One year ago I purchased my Christian Bauer wedding band from SC&L and I couldn’t be happier with the service and the product. Purchasing a ring was a new and intimidating experience for me, but they made me feel very comfortable with the entire situation. They educated me on the different materials and options, showed me a million styles, and perhaps most importantly, they let me take my time and simply led me through the process. I did not make a decision after the first session, and that was completely fine with them. After I consumed their information and did my own research, I made the purchase. One year later I am just as happy with the purchase and look forward to having this ring for many decades to come. I would recommend anyone going through this process to go to SC&L, they are the best.

Really fantastic store and incredibly nice people. Brad and Angelika were both great to talk to and very knowledgeable about their brands and the overall watch market. This is a must stop for Watch enthusiasts while in the Boston area.

Cant say enough about working with them! On my most recent experience, I needed a bezel repaired on a watch that I inherited, and Caroline was absolutely fantastic! She was fully transparent while working closely with me to make the repair with Omega seamless. Excellent communication, and work, my watch came back looking beautiful!

I am finally getting around to writing this review after visiting the store in October. I came in looking for a wedding gift and although I did not make a purchase, my in-store experience was great. This was my first time in the store and Ben walked me through the department to show me the various products available. He explained the different products and asked questions to help narrow down products that were in my price range. There were other shoppers on the floor but he never made me feel rushed - he is a true professional. Ill definitely be back when Im looking for great and unique gifts.
