Like most Home Depots the staff can help you find something but they typically dont know anything about home improvement supplies or projects. The Home Depot AP will actually tell you where to find products in the store so I guess the employees work on stocking the shelves. Many times I have noticed broken or damaged products mixed in with good ones, so be careful. I must say that customer return service is very good.
Good selection of items, clean store, and the staff is very helpful. I was looking for some items that were listed in the app but that I couldn’t find, Prince the associate was very helpful, went out of his way to find the items which were stacked high on the shelves and requires a lift to get. All while in the middle of doing something else. This is the exact kind of customer support that is rarely seen these days. I commend his effort and appreciate the customer service that was provided.

Dont bother purchasing anything from Home Depot and definitely dont use their delivery service!!! I have had an abysmal experience with the purchase and delivery of my refrigerator which is currently sitting on my front porch where it was left during delivery. Besides the saga leading up to this, I want to start with the most immediate issue. As of ... 2021, I have a $1400 refrigerator sitting on my front porch. Arrangements were made between the online service and the Bowie Home Depot to have that refrigerator placed either inside my home or garage until the installation could be completed. This was supposed to take place today. Suffice it to say that after a 2 hour call with the online people and the resolution center, the refrigerator still sits on my front porch. I spent the rest of my evening sitting at home waiting for a return call from the manager on duty at the Bowie store (Eric). When I did not received it, I finally went to the store at 9:30 pm to see him.I want to note that the original delivery date that I chose at purchase was scheduled for ... I did not receive a call on ... to give me the window for which it would be delivered. On the day of delivery after sitting and waiting for most of the day, I checked my email receipt to get a number to contact Home Depot. At this point I saw an email stating that my delivery had been rescheduled for 23 days later because there was a supply chain issue. While I found this disruptive and dishonest (internet stated the item was in stock), I decided not to complain.As my daughter was heading to work, she informed me that people were delivering something to the house and she had to get to work. She asked them to just leave it! I had no idea that my refrigerator was coming! For me, $1400 is a lot of money. I was relying on the promised phone call alerting me of delivery. Most importantly, I was relying on it to occur on the day before the scheduled delivery! The delivery date had been changed again.This is an immediate crisis in that I have an exposed, expensive item sitting on my front porch that passersbys can easily see and target for theft. I have a 48 hour window from delivery to return the item that I cannot unwrap it to inspect for damage because it is sitting on my front porch and unwrapping it would expose it to potential harm.
I bought some paint for a new bathroom in the basement. The color I chose did not turn out quite like I thought it would per the paint cards when I brushed a small amount onto the wall. More blue in the gray than I would have liked, and I kicked myself for not getting a sample first.. There are no returns for mixed paint, but I went in to see if they could adjust the color. She offered to make a one-to-one exchange for the right color. I was shocked that she would do that but very happy. Salespersons name is Angie and shes a five-star employee. Thats all I have to say.
A man on a mission. My drip trays for my stove were shot, grabbed some new ceramic replacements. In and out in a just few minutes.

Recently bought a refrigerator (sub total $3,465.28) and expected a +$300 nice discount (10%) because of my military service, instead received $24.23. If this is legit I will not purchase another major appliance from them again and will spread the word since it is misleading.

I placed an order for a patio set in late March. After 3 visits to the store, multiple phone calls, and talks with managers, I still have no patio set, in spite of confirmations from the store that my order is ready. The patio set is sitting in receiving at the store waiting to be assembled and delivered, in spite of multiple managers assuring me that it would be delivered by x day... then y date. If not even managers can resolve issues, they should do away with the whole customer service department! Very disappoint with the run-around I am currently on with this company.
Very helpful employees more times than not for me, usually can find what I need and store went beyond anything I would ever have expected and returned my phone with case of essential IDs to my front door this morning....kudos to the employee who turned it in and especially to the young man who delivered it to me!

I usually am a big fan of HD but I have been to this store 3 times for a wood project and the saws are both broken. Its been 2 weeks... Very disappointing.
Corporate really needs to fix their technology. First, I got an error everytime I tried to check out on the website. Then after ordering on the app, ran into issues with curbside pickup. The notification from the customer to the store has a 100% track record (2/2) of failing, so I sit for 10-12 minutes before I get fed up and go inside. The only reason for the two stars is the staff: they are nice, friendly, and professional, and even when its not their fault that the technology sucks, they still apologize profusely.

GREAT service for do-it-yourselfers! My husband and I stopped by for supplies for a bathroom remodel. Chris and Phil took extremely good care of us. They walked us through every step and helped us find everything that we needed in one place. They were patient and explained everything to us. They even helped with color options. I was surprised and delighted at their level of expertise! We will definitely be back.
Went around to 3 Lowes and Best Buy looking for a particular washer and dryer. We got horrible customer service in 3 of the 4 stores until we came here. Tim who I believe works in the kitchen area came over to us to ask us if we needed help and was amazing! He gave great advice, he was very helpful and patient with us. Very pleasant experience for a very important purchase. Thanks Tim you rock!!!
Worst customer experiences I ever have. No one is available to help, ask questions. I waited 30 minutes for a manager, another 30, for help on aisle 5 lighting. They really stink at service, I left and went to Lowes. They are just as bad.
Went there to purchase a few items for new home and found the staff very helpful. Darren walked me through the custom blinds ordering process and made things clear regarding the steps following the order. Deon helped this old veteran at checkout as I sorted through the inputs at the checkout. Thanks and will be back.
5 stars! This mid-size Home Depot has friendly staff and management that were quick to volunteer to help me with an issue that Home Depot (corporate/cusomter care) would not. Informative, quick service, and help loading heavy tile into my vehicle. This will be our go to home improvement store because Janay (Assistant Manager) was so exemplary in her customer service.

After the box was placed in my car, I got out to double check and realized I was missing the second item. I tried re-checking in and calling, but no success so I just drove up to the exit of the store and asked an employee who was bringing carts back inside. I explained the situation and that I had my toddler with me and didn’t want to bring her inside due to covid19 risks. The employee, Deon, said “no problem I will look into this for you.” I assumed he would pass issue along to curbside pick up employees, but instead he took charge and spent 40 minutes trying to find the missing box. He came back out to my car multiple times to update me. No one could find the box, so he issued a refund to me and brought me the receipt so I didn’t have to bring my kid inside the store. And then, he called me about 5 minutes later to say he had located the missing box and would arrange to have it left at the service desk for me to repurchase tomorrow. He was so helpful. Excellent customer service. Thank you, Deon!
Had a problem with special order Andersen door. Called Andersen directly and they are worthless! Went to HD and spoke with Jennifer in millwork and she was great in getting problem resolved. Cuddos to her!

I must admit I normally lean towards Lowes but there are a few items that Home Depot either seems to be better organized with or that Lowes doesnt carry. First being firewood which is right up front in the winter at Home Depot. also some bead board panelling and wood doll rods in needed for some other projects. Staff is friendly and I am usually in and out pretty easily.
Lowes is my go to but hd definitely has more options. When I need something high end I go here

I was very disappointed in my experience today at Home Depot my on line order was damaged and it has cost me more money when l called the store to let them know l was told to bring damaged piece back and get another one when l got there they told me l had to bring all and once l returned with all l was told they could not order there was back orders l will say supervisor at register was professional and efficient but the people on the phone tell you anything very bad customer service
Unlike home Depot, Lowes has more things like plant seeds and plants. It also has furniture at well.

Went to this Home Depot to buy a paint sprayer and as I grabbed the last product available sitting on the floor I noticed the box was wet and severely damaged. A Home Depot associate by the name Antonia asked if I was ok while I examined the box, I replied “I’m just wondering if this item is ok to buy” she replied “Well it closed ain’t it?”. I am normally a very calm and patient person when dealing with individuals in the customer service industry, I understand they deal with a wide variety of challenges and may be moody at times. This response from the Home Depot associate was unprofessional and all things equally will cause me to choose a different location in the future to avoid this type of service.

Please note that items that are shown as being in stock and available for pick-up that day or the next are probably not available.I ordered a dehumidifier on 8/13/20 from the Bowie store because the item showed in stock. This is not the closest store for me but I ordered it because of the promise of getting the item quickly.Four days later Ive not received any communication from the store that the item is ready for pick-up. I went to the site to look up the order and found it is now scheduled to be available in the store on 8/21/20, more than a week after it was promised.The order cannot be canceled until the store receives the item. I am out $200 until Home Depot decides to tell me the item has arrived.Thanks for convincing me to stick to Lowes from now on.

I purchased a sliding glass Patio door from Home Depot Bowie Md on 10/4 It was 4 pieces. On 10/5 the store issued me a refund for part of my order. On 10/6 the store delivered all except the sliding door and issued me a refund. What can I do with a partial door? Why wasn’t the entire order cancelled and why wasn’t I notified prior to the order being delivered on 10/6 If they processed my refund on 10/5? Very un professional. Poor customer service. Terrible over all experience. Worst of all they are doing very little to resolve the situation. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Both of the things we needed were not where we were told they would be. Each time the location where the product is supposed to be was empty, and it only existed in an end cap or on display at the front of the store.
Worst Stocked Home Depot ever. Wasted an hour of my life looking for items that they have in stock, but they did not put them on the sales floor

This store is incredibly disorganized. Their building materials are always picked through, leaving only the most warped and knotted pieces of wood. It can be very difficult to find items you need because they put out displays for specific items within an aisle, but only stock that item higher on the shelves further down the same aisle. Some of their stock, specifically smaller items like pipe fittings, cant even be found by their associates. Go a few extra miles to visit a different store or hit up the Lowes across the street instead.
The check out associate was so helpful to me and my children. I truly appreciated the social Distancing support with my two kids under age 5 while shopping. Thank you so much!
Hardware stores are really fun places to browse! My husband and I are getting a new front door and new storm door. Im always impressed when I go to Home Depot of BOWIE. The store is orderly, clean, staff knows the layout of the store and their merchandise. Mr. Karlos made our shopping so easy. He told us of the different options, the best route for us and he made it happen. I would recommend this Home Depot to anyone. Hats off to the managers.
The staff was very helpful in helping us figure out which lawn mower on display were also available in a box. It was very confusing because the numbers on the box didnt match the information on the description in front of the models. The staff went so far as to use a lift to get down the model we wanted.
This visit was for a Propane Tank and other minor items needed for a BBQ in the area. The staff was fast in assisting my secure a Propane Tank and during check out. The store was stocked and they had plenty of staff to help anyone looking for help with shopping. I will return again as the customer service was very good!

Dont ever buy appliances from home depot with delivery and installation, theyll try every trick in the book to not complete the install. paid $8,240 dollars and waited 2 months for the appliances to get in. Its best if you just buy the appliances and do everything yourself, dont be hopeful for theyre delivery and installation services it will only cause headache.

I contacted the store associate over the phone first to verify availability of the product then purchased it online. It was easy and no hassle as long you have a picture id to either curbside/in stored pickup. 👍

Ordered a Honda Lawnmower for curbside pickup and no one picked up the phone. Had to send my son in to get my curbside pickup. Why offer a service and not have some one working curbside.

Generally good for house supplies. Recently I had a poor experience trying to get a microwave. I used the online filter for available in store today to find one, but when I went to pick it up they didnt have it or several others they claimed they had. They werent able to look for any nearby stores with the same or similar models. Three different staff including the manager were involved and they couldnt find the microwave despite multiples showing online.
Do not use Home Depot for carpeting. They subcontract with American Carpet South which is a horrible company with bad customer service. They tried to pass off an inferior grade of carpet. I got the run around from HD for 5 days and never did get my call back for Jen, the carpet advisor. I had to go into the store with my carpet samples to get my refund. Shaquanda decided it was the same grade before she even took it from me and disappeared up front to discuss with a COS. She came back and never said a word but processed my refund. I am sorry I lost 35.00 to measure, most places are free. I would not recommend them. Go to a small family business...better prices...better service!!
I usually get what I need here. Home Depot needs to look at Lowes customer service model and breadth of inventory. I am tending to go there more frequently.
