Vinny the service manager did our estimate and Jose did the refinishing of our bathtub, replaced the drain plug and overflow plate, and also re-caulked around the whole tub (which is the original tub in this 60-year-old house). They were both pleasant, professional, and prompt and the tub looks fantastic. The whole job was perfect except for two tiles right above the tub which got damaged (removing the old caulk in that spot was extremely difficult), but he covered it very well with a wide white strip and were going to replace the quarter-round molding (which covers the bottom part of the tiling all around the tub) he had to remove anyway. All the communications with this company were courteous and professional and I would definitely use them again.

Over acrylic tub developed a crack, which was leaking water into our living room. Was quite upset at the thought of having to replace it. Did some searching online and found these folks. They foamed under the tub to re-support it, then applied a fiberglass repair and was able to just apply a non-slip to the tubs bottom to cover the repair. This was a one piece tub and surround which would have been thousand to replace. Their charge was only $450. Delighted with the outcome.

We had a long term tenant leave a dripping bathtub faucet unreported for so long the hard water ate through the porcelain around our rental house bathtub drain and began rusting the cast iron tub. I called a couple of companies and Porcelain Tub Restorations was the only one I found who could replace the drain if necessary (thankfully it wasnt) and handle the repair. Vinny was at my house for an estimate within days and we were scheduled, work completed by the end of the week. So thankful as every day not on the market matters with a rental property! The tub looks fantastic and the cost was about 2/3 of what other companies were. As well, they can come back to finish chips (rather than refinish). Porcelain Tub Restorations was a great answer for our situation.

Call them to re-glaze tub and tile to get our home ready for sale. Had a nasty rusted chip at the drain. Tech went to take the drain out to remove the rust under it. Said there was a funny noise, and the drain wasn’t coming out. Tech opened the access panel and found the previous owner had epoxied a corroded pipe, which broke when trying to remove it. It added some to the cost but he was able to go back to his shop and retrieve the needed parts to repair the plumbing. Glad he was able to take care of the problem and completed the job. Very Talented tech and professional company. Enjoyed working with them.

Thought we were getting a “deal” by taking the lowest price a year ago. Tub peeled within a month and the company wouldn’t warranty their job. Called PTR, who removed the peeling coating off and applied their coating. Not only did the finish project look smoother, but after 6 months still looks brand new. I did find a small blemish in the finish, and they came back out to take care of it. Time will tell but I fully believe this will last a long time and they’ll stand behind their work.

Wonderful job. They fixed cracks and missing tiles. The 80-year-old tile work they repaired looks brand new. I can’t even tell where the repairs were done. Huge savings to get the cracks/missing tiles repaired rather than having to get the whole bathroom tile work redone.

I had an excellent experience with PTR. Ive been hiring them for years to get my bathtubs and basins cleaned, polished, and sealed.

My churchs rather large baptismal pool was in horrible condition and the cost of replacing was not an option. After talking with Vinny we set up a game plan and they were able to repair the damaged areas and refinish it in 2 1/2 days for just over $3200 incredible job they did.

Interesting experience, after getting quotes for a bath remodel the price was overwhelming, A friend recommended I contact PTR, very glad I did. their office set up an appointment for Vinny to come out and check out my project. Got a quote to repair my old tub and outdated cracked tile and reglaze them, then lay a new tile floor over the old one. Took a solid 2 and a Half days and came in a quarter of the quotes to rip out everything and replace. Outcome exceeded my expectations and at a great price.
