Service at the Bowie Sherwin Williams is great. The only sales associate at the time of my visit had a customer with a lot of questions. I could hear him providing suggestions and even had her call her contractor for more detailed info. My wait time was surprisingly short, given the numerous questions asked by the previous customer. I watched him mix her paint, have her go get her car ( because it started pouring rain) and he brought the paint out to her. He acknowledged me and that he would return shortly. He was able to answer my questions about paint I purchased about 5 years prior and while he couldnt match the exact paint, he came up with an alternative. He explained what I would be getting and what differences I might experience before mixing the paint. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. I would shop at Sherwin Williams again.
Amazing store. I have a home remodeling project and was helped out by one of the employees Steve Yorkman. He is exceptional and very patient. He educated me on paint colors, primers and finishes. Its a major plus to have people who really know thier job and Steve is on point.I will recommend anyone to this store. Great job Steve, i and my wife are very happy.
There has not been one time that my husband and I have visited the Bowie, MD store without receiving outstanding customer service. Every employee makes you feel as though youre their only customer. Their phone service is equally as efficient. Ive often called to see if they had a particular item on the shelf, and each time, they ask me to hold while they go check. I have zero complaints about this store.
I have yet to walk into a hardware/paint store with a toddler and feel so welcomed, and not like a mom who is just trying to do Pinterest stuff. Steve I believe was the associates names; he went above and beyond to assist me.The products I purchased have been the perfect color to complete our kids room.

What made me give this place a 5* was the customer service. Adam was very helpful and cordial. Every now and then the company offers some good discounts. Take advantage of those. Otherwise, prices are not cheap.

The wait is ridiculous! Visited 9/9/19 at 6:00pm. The representative indicates that he don’t help with colors. Can’t give any suggestions whatsoever. He is only here to sell paint. Well I suggest that Sherwin Williams revisit their employment criteria when hiring their employees to represent their company.
Not only did I receive excellent advice, but the wait was not long. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Many, many different choices. Excellent service!!

They are very helpful and courteous. The associate went out of his way to color match a very old paint in a rusty paint can and the match was almost spot on.
I visited a Sherwin-Williams store in Crofton, MD on Tuesday October 15th and was greeted by a nice gentleman who explained that there will be a sale on Friday October 18th so to wait until then to purchase the paint. Although he wanted me to wait until Friday to purchase he was kind enough to go through the paint that I wanted to purchase and even went as far as writing the price that I would pay as well as how much paint I would need for what I planned to paint in my house. He explained that when I revisited the store, the worker could easily look on the back and see exactly what I needed and how much of it that I needed.Taking his advice I visited the Sherwin-Williams store in Bowie, MD today October 18th. Upon my arrival, the environment was not very warm, we were not greeted, it was almost as if we were a bother to the person that was on duty that we came into the store. I told the guy that I was looking for a particular item and that I also had all the paint ready for him to prepare for me. I gave him exactly what the gentleman gave me from the Crofton, MD store. He went back and started mixing the paint together. When he was finished mixing the paint, the amount didnt look right so I asked if this was the amount shown on the paint sheet, his response was oh I didnt look at that after huffing and puffing he finally went to the back and mixed the remaining paint still mumbling things under his breath. After everything was all done he loaded my paint onto the dolly and took it outside to the curb. I needed this dolly because one of the paints that I purchased was 5 gallons along with the other paint that I bought. I had to get my car to load the paint on there but as I turned around, I noticed he unloaded the paint on the side of the curb and went back in the store. I could understand if I came to the store with another man who could lift this but I was not. Needless to say, I had to lift this 5 gallon paint onto my car without the help of the consultant. My purchase today was not cheap and even if it was the service that I experienced was very unacceptable. Putting him through a customer service training is a MUST - you will loose a lot of paying customers with his attitude and work ethic. If I wasnt desperate in needing this paint, I would have walked out of the store. This will be my first and last time ever purchasing from this store.
The paint is better than other brands and they always have discounts. I could get away with 1 coat since the paint isn’t watery like others.

Only One employee working here. I came this store for the paint, but I wait 45 minutes for a gallon paint. Don’t come to this store, if you on the rush.
