I have shopped at this Kroger for 10+ years, spend over 700$ here at least a month. But the lack of customer service has made the convenience and loyalty I have for this store irrelevant now. I had a click list pick up at 4, they were behind so they changed to 5. 540pm comes and no one answers the phone. My daughter was helping me due to me getting over Covid and having heart problems. Young girl comes out with a Horrible attitude, stressed I’m sure due to being under staffed but absolutely hateful no apology nothing. She says I heard you say something about covid I’m putting your groceries on the ground, you can get yourself, I said I do not have COVID, I have complications due to Covid and can not lift all of that from the ground, my daughter helped me load them ans we asked her name and she ignored us completely and walked away left the cart groceries everything in the parking lot. Manager came out, and still no apology just must have been a misunderstanding( his words) no misunderstanding, entire thing was recorded by a bystander appalled at the behavior. She was 100% rude hey were an hour and half late for my pick up and a simple polite apology or even lack of absolute rudeness would have been sufficient. Sadly after years of shopping with this company, I will try the other stores recommended to me in the past! Customer service is key, if you are behind I Get it!!! I’m in service myself, but the attitude is what did it!

My main place for groceries. Its constantly upgrading. There is a Starbucks and a branch of BB&T bank plus a small bit descent wine shop. Its a one stop solution for me. Only complaint is they are not Vegetarian friendly. The health food selection is sub par.Since this post 2 years ago the health food section has great lunch improved. The store has gotten even better except for one aspect. The customer service staff. Since Im this business I noticed a complete failure on this end. Rude, no manners and can be just hateful for asking a simple question. The first 2 times I over looked it because everyone has a bad day. But this happens every single time for at least a year. So I have to take away on that note

Normally I would not leave a bad review if something was bad because I wouldn’t want to hurt a business by just one experience. But this has happened on several occasions. I placed a pick up order SEVERAL hours ahead of time. I was originally told that my order would be ready in 1 hour. I then, got a notification that my order wouldn’t be ready until the next day. I completely understand that things happen but, this is the 9th time. When I called the store to ask if I was perhaps doing something wrong, an associate named Kenneth told me “if you snooze, you lose” and hung up.

Was told my pickup was ready at 5:40. Got there at 6. Called them at 6:20 and they told me 10 minutes and were very rude. It’s now 7pm and they told me they haven’t even got any of my stuff ready. Awful experience and workers. UPDATE: they took an additional 40 minutes, gave me $50 off but I never came back here. the other krogers has been perfect for pickup.

Their customer service team needs a lesson in manners. I shouldn’t be given attitude over the phone when asking perfectly reasonable questions. They are also always conveniently out of everything you need on your click-list. I’ve gone in several times after receiving my groceries to find the exact items they were “out of” right on the shelves! Their employees don’t care about what you need and they don’t care to do the bare minimum aspects of their jobs. I find it hard to believe that this store was entirely out of chicken breast and couldn’t do a substitution for it when I had the box checked for that? But yet I got a substitution for bursitis shells? It doesn’t make any sense. Someone with some intelligence needs to rework the whole staffing situation.

Parking is a pain!!!! Checkout lines are long and self-checkout is the only option. And...forget customer service, its a joke. Last time I stood in line for well over fifteen minutes because of a pricing error, everyone in front of me was doing Western Union money transfers. Youre a grocery store, not a bank!!! I go there as little as I can!!!! Only Walmart is worse in customer service, but even THEY have a separate money center away from customer service. My go to store? Meijers!

I shop here weekly. Im a Fuel Points freak and wait for the 4X fuel points on gift cards. Buy these with my Southwest VISA so I can also earn travel points. We save hundreds on gas every year. I buy my restaurant cards, Amazon cards, even Lowes and Home Depot cards at 4X promotions. The bakery here is great. The fresh section is where I get wonderful salad fixings. Kroger Private label brands are my favorites. They have great sales and send me personalized coupons every month it seems. This is my main grocery and pharmacy.

They have a convenient location with better prices and larger selection than the smaller Crossroads IGAs out in the county; helpful staff, nice facility. Id recommend going there. It has to be there busiest Kroger of the three, though, because their parking lot and building are usually packed throughout the evening and on weekends, especially in the wake of the stay-at-home orders. The click list functions pretty well, although its a regular occurrence to have items substituted, but thats usually with an equal or superior equivalent. Unless you have a preference toward browsing the store, the $5? Click list fee is worth it for most people for the time saved (if you make $15/hr, it pays for itself after 20 minutes of shopping) or convenience. Its also helpful in controlling compulsive purchases. The downsides mostly involve how busy it is (getting a spot and getting loaded up) or accuracy (getting home with something wrong or missing). In general though, its a good experience.

They also offer fuel rewards where they calculate a percentage of the money you spend and you can receive huge discounts on gas per gallon. I love Kroger industry.

Great store and employees with one exception. The bathroom behind the pharmacy and Starbucks was clean and kept up, however there is a sharp edge on the small chair rail piece where it comes together at the corner. I snagged my shirt on it and ripped about a one inch hole in my shirt. I didnt get hurt, but it grabbed my shirt good and could potentially snag an arm. The order ahead carts were pretty far over so I didnt have a lot of room to get by them. I am in love with this establishment. If I had to pick a corporation to dedicate my life to, it would be The Kroges, no doubt about it. Remember when Sue Sylvester broke the rules of the conventional relationship dynamic and married herself on Glee? I am doing that again. With Kroger. I cant hide my love anymore. I am not ashamed. Kroger and I are one. With this onion ring, I thee wed. Please enjoy my vows below:Kroger, from the moment our paths crossed, you have surprised me, delighted me, captivated me, entertained me, and challenged me in a way that no market ever has before.I have fallen in love with you again and again. Through long romantic walks down aimless aisles. Just meandering. Wandering. Lovingly. Caressing your sweet shelves. The lingering embraces when my fingers glide across the racks leaves me wanting more.I vow to never let you down. I vow to always support you, financially and emotionally. To always remember fondly the days spent that first summer. I vow to always think back to that time if I ever waver.I vow to kill every spider. I vow to dust your shelves and sweep underneath them. To be there for you in those times of darkness.Above all, I vow to always remember my alternate ID and never let my points expire. You are my love and my life.

After making the Campbell Ln. location myweekly go to grocery store for at least the past year, I was totally lost when I tried to pick up my normal items at the bypass store.Hardly anything was in the same area. The layout was totally different. It took twice as long to find what i needed. There was no logic to the arrangement. And, when i ask a stock boy for help, even he even had to go ask a cashier. Part of my problem may have been exaserbated by the poor lighting. The lights seem to glare in some areas but the isles are stacked so high you get odd shadows and it makes it hard to see some of the shelves. My general impression was that this is an older store that needs to be updated. I must say though, the personnel couldnt be nicer. Very friendly and tried to be very helpful.

Kroger...how was it...well its a grocery store that provides me with a means of obtaining various sundries. They, like many other business have a variety of monkey buttons that if rung properly will save me money. But we have to play the game to get the banana. AutoZone has their special customer card that if kept up properly (pushing the buttons) can save money, other retailers like this all try to entice or engage their targets to see if theyll ring the bell, hit the button. Kroger, and many like them take the word of their marketers that these special deals and being a member hooks the customer into a perceived sense of loyalty...i.e. larger profits. Thats the bottom line. Rather than providing John and Susie Q. Public with the lowest prices they spend billions (all companies together) with special apps, cards, buy five save five dollars deals, that line the pockets of marketers and those who are in the knowwho have bought into the rhetoric that is what the customer wants. Simply not true for this customer. I loath that I have to load the coupons onto my app...they couldnt simply say, heres Cokes for $2 for all buyers, no, you have load the coupon onto your phone app and then when you put in your phone number theyll give you the deal....other wise its $4.99 per six pack. Even a blind fool will say hey, how do I save$3? So, theres purpose behind the button pushing, it tells them what people are buying and who is doing the purchasing. Its data that is intended to give them an edge on their competitors...yet they have the same tech...and their smart guys and gals and telling management the same things so that at the end of the day there really isnt that big of an advantage...well, thats my opinion anyways. So instead of collecting data on grandma Atkins or uncle Jacob simply sell products cheaper than your competitors...these customers, by word of mouth alone will tell their peeps that Kroger sells things cheapest. But thats to simple, they believe that spending millions on mind games and gathering data is the key to success. I simply whip out my tech in the form of my phone and look at the price of an object some other place. For example, the Libman mop at Kroger is $11.99, at Wal-Mart, for the exact same product its $8.39 (something like that), so all their gathering of data to price their mop for $4 dollars more is negated...Ill be going by Wal-Mart, so Im going to pick up my mop there. I purchased the other things that were actually cheaper at Kroger right now and Im a happy little monkey, ringing the bell and waiting for the next time I visit. Anyways, I do like Kroger as far as their selection and the people are nice for the most part...So they ya go, so at Kroger, ring their bells and get yourself a banana...:-)
