When our familys vision insurance changed, we sought out a new optometry office and are glad to have found Delta Vista Optometry! The staff is super friendly and the office feels very safe in terms of the COVID protocols taken to make sure everyone stays healthy.Daniela did my pretesting, made the process super easy and answered all the questions I had. Afterwards, I met with Dr. Darnell who was very knowledgable and patient as she looked at my eyes.I went in again a month or two later with my mom for her appointment and Amanda helped us out when we were browsing glasses, helping us out when we needed it and constantly disinfecting the glasses my mom had tried on but decided against.I really appreciate the extra mile the staff goes in making the environment feel pressure-free, comfortable and safe in these post-COVID times!

Service was good after a 3week wait for an eye exam.. but front desk was polite. The optometrist extremely helpful..EXCEPT for when it came time for me to PAY. I called in the following Monday after my fitting to pay over the phone. (prices w/insurance 👍🏿)Some how the person taking the payment doesnt have ANY ACCESS to confirm your purchase. Instead I have to wait until the next day for someone to call me back.. to confirm what Im paying for.So my wait to SEE is waiting on someone to put a break down of whats being sold on the invoice.Stupid reason not to see says the guy waiting to pay. Says ME.

Such a great first time experience here. The entire staff is great and picking new glasses is never a fun time, but they all helped and made me so comfortable. I ended up changing my mind on the glasses I ordered, and they cancelled them for me the next day and were extremely nice about it! Highly recommend Delta Vista!

The staff was very nice with helping me with my paperwork & explaining what was going to happen. I felt my exams were very thorough & they listened to my concerns. Specifically, Dr. Buchanan was very experienced, knowledgeable, and caring. I would highly recommend them for your optometry needs.

Dr. Buchanan is great, I’m a new patient and I felt very welcomed and she even corrected my lenses from who I was with previously and I can see so much better. She’s very warm and kind. Definitely will come back with my family and will recommend to friends.

This was a random pick on the internet. I didn’t realize how actually far it was until I GPS before I was going to appointment. Once I arrived I was greeted and treated extremely well, from beginning to end. Top of the line service! Dr. Darnell is very experienced, and thorough and answers all your questions in a way that is very understanding. She makes you feel very comfortable. They don’t make you feel pressured, like they are trying to oversell while you are trying to find what’s best for your needs. After the extremely excellent service I received, traveling a little extra is absolutely worth it.

My Wife an I both went to delta visa first time and we must acknowledge that from appointment booking till the getting all the orders through, we had an amazing experience. We had received multiple reminders to make sure of our appointments which was good for us. Super Professional and amazingly welcoming staff they have. Pooja took care of our appointment from end to end. She was considerate enough to explain us every minute detail about our insurance v/s benefits. She also meticulous and thorough to explain every test in detail. We were not rushed at all through the appointment. Even the Doctor who checked us was so patient, positive and welcoming. We have been to some other optometrist in Bay Area but Delta vista was an amazing experience for us. We were offered with best glasses and frames which met our needs quite perfectly. We are very satisfied with services, quality of glasses and most importantly great customer service we received.

I can’t say enough about Ashley Darnell OD. She is the best optometrist I have ever seen and I’ve been wearing glasses for almost 30 years. She is kind, thoughtful and really listens. I’ve been having issues with dry eyes and she’s thought outside of the box and has helped find solutions that work specifically for me. The girls at the front desk were busy and she even got behind the desk and helped me make my follow up appt. I recommend her to anyone who is looking for a new eye doctor. I will never see anyone else.

Very friendly staff. State of the art testing machines made the exam thorough yet comfortable. A wide variety of glasses to choose from; many from VSP discounted brand names. My only criticism is that I could have used more information about the process.

My husband and I went first time at this office and had an amazing experience. The staff is very friendly and professional. Dr. Darnell did thorough eye exam and Pooja was extremely helpful, kind, friendly and she was very helpful in selecting my glasses. Definitely we will be staying with them and not going anywhere.

Staff and doctor were friendly. You are not rushed, they explain everything they are doing so no surprises. Good selection of frames all the name brands.

I moved out of state but make sure to get my eye exam done at DVOA when I come visit. The care is just that great! Dr. Buchanan and Dr. Darnell are wonderful doctors. They are very thorough with exams, personable, and professional. The ladies at the front desk are eager to answer any questions and are super sweet. Claudia also speaks Spanish if anyone is looking for an office that is bilingual. They also have a wide variety of frames. I like how they had luxury brands and more affordable frames as well. The opticians help out a lot with frame selection. Shout out to Roberto and Pooja for helping me understand my insurance break downs. Every member of the staff is welcoming. I have a great experience every time and my new prescription is perfect. I’m so glad I found this gem of an Optometry office! I’d highly recommend to anyone.

I have been going to Dr Buchanan for the past 3 years. She is very professional and thorough. She is great with kids too! The office staff are very nice and pleasant to work with. They have a great selection of frames.

I have been a patient at Delta Vista for 7 years & they are by far the most professional optometry office Ive ever visited. Dr. Buchanan is terrific, really gets to know your history & updates it each visit. She is extremely compassionate & patient with my 85 year old Mother with macular degeneration that has taken her sight in one eye & working on the other. She has helped her be able to read her computer screen with special glasses. The girls at the desk are wonderful & Roberto is a joy to work with selecting frames. They have been terrific if our frames or lens are damaged or broken during lifes daily traumas. I highly recommend Delta Vista Optometry. Go see them!
