Quaint bakery and coffeehouse in a residential area with comfortable seating inside. I had a cinnamon bun and blueberry muffin. Both were good but not memorable.

We were in Brunswick, ME for a business trip and stumbled upon Union Street bakery! We were so grateful we did, my breakfast sandwich was delicious on homemade focaccia, with the fluffiest scrambled eggs and cheese, avocado, tomato, lettuce! The owner was super friendly and the place had a homegrown feeling with professional menu and super sweet staff. My husband had the blueberry scone that was super fluffy and cake-like and it didnt make it very far in the car before it was devoured. Thanks guys will be back when were in town! 😘

Great place for breakfast. Everything was super fresh. No espresso machine, but the coffee is very good. Plenty of sitting space inside and outside.

Oh my oh my oh my! What an unanticipated treat. I went in for some fair trade organic coffee and discovered a mini gluten free carrot cake.I set out to eat just 1/2 of it, but it is so light and delicious, I don’t know if I can restrain myself and save 1/2 for later!Delightful place. I’ll be back. 🤗

For our wedding we ordered a two layer lemon raspberry cake that fed about 50 people. We decorated it with flowers and it turned our beautiful. We also picked up a small red velvet birthday cake as it was our best mans birthday the same day as our wedding :). Both cakes were delicious! People RAVED about the Lemon raspberry. It was perfect. Love frequenting this small local business. Food is fresh and consistently good. Few breakfast choices, yogurt and fruit bowl or breakfast sandwich with side of fresh fruit or side salad. Lunch - sandwiches, soups, quiche and salad options. Various baked goods offered daily. Tea & coffee & a fridge with cold drinks. Also fresh bread baked daily for purchase.Staff are always very friendly and patient. Love the homey cheerful atmosphere too. Stop buy for a bite, it’s all good!!

I love Union Street Bakery! The staff is so fun and friendly, the food is fresh and delicious, and I love their seasonal treats. Today, I had the best pumpkin chocolate chip muffin Ive ever eaten! It was huge, and so comforting on this chilly first day of Fall. I highly recommend checking them out.

Had a greek salad with chicken and it was truly amazing. Chicken was moist, dressing had great flavor and the tomatoes tasted like tomatoes!!!! Ate every bite! Cant say that about all salads.

Ordered a chocolate cake from Union Street Bakery recently and WOW! Im usually pretty meh on cakes, but this one really blew us away.Union Street is still taking orders during the stay-at-home restrictions, so if youre bummed about having a quarantine birthday I highly recommend getting yourself a cake from Union Street. Their sandwiches are also always delicious!

Delicious food and decadent cakes. Cookies and muffins are to die for. Not to mention the amazing positive atmosphere and excellent service!

Our company provides high-end training in process improvement methods and needed lunches provided for 6 days of training sessions for the class. We ended up using Union Street because their food was better than any alternative in the area. We negotiated a fair delivery charge and the food arrived on time every day and made our training participants very happy. Whether you have salads, quiche, or sandwiches it is all good! We do recommend you order cookies with every meal!

Maggie has such a great personality and her lemon raspberry cake was divine! I cant wait to serve it at my wedding!

Excellent food and pastries went with the family for lunch and had the curry chicken salad and potato salad both were very good. Cream cheese brownie was also delicious. Everyone enjoyed there food and the staff was super friendly. Definitely will make a trip back.

Amazing shop!! We went in for some blueberry but they were all out so they called another local bakery for us to hold it, which was amazing. She even went above and beyond and gave us some blueberry muffins for free because she is going out of town. The treats were fantastic and the best customer service I have EVER experienced! Highly recommended

The cakes are delicious. They will decorate, so not only are they personalized but they taste good too. There is no crisco in their frosting only real butter and cream cheese. Only butter is used in their pie crust too. They use fresh local berries and you can buy a jar of preserves/jam of whatever berry is in season. The fresh bread is something I regularly buy now. Its so good. Lunch is never disappointing. Fresh side green salad or fruit salad with the quiche. The potato salad is delicious. They tell me that the secret ingredient is balsamic vinegar. Gives it a nice color too. The atmosphere is relaxed, colorful, welcoming and homey. They helped me figure out what was needed for an event I was planning and let me bring my own bowls to be filled with the fresh fruit salad Sandra made for me so we would not have to use plastic containers that are bad for the environment. Maggie picked fresh flowers from the window box to decorate my cakes with. They treat you like family and make you feel right at home. Lou is always ready to help you with a smile at the register. I love that the kitchen is open, watching the magic happen and the ladies team work is inspiring. This really draws you in and makes you want more of whatever deliciousness they are serving. Great baked goods and sandwiches!

Stopped by for a late lunch on a Saturday and enjoyed a wonderful sandwich on homemade bread. Our daughter ordered a bowl of yogurt with fruit and granola that was beautifully presented, and that she loved. The bakery itself is light, with local art displayed, and the display case is filled with salads and bakery items.

This place is great. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. I have some dietary restrictions and the owner (I think) was accommodating and so sweet to make sure I had something to eat.

Chocolate cake is superb! We had the one with chocolate seashells decorating it. Cake was delicious and frosting creamy and tasty. We and our guests cleaned our plates. Very nice owners and staff. Sandwiches and potato salad are delicious, too.
