Local convenient store that has a large selection of beer and wine. I also buy the famous Rip It energy drinks from this store, which are increasingly hard to find. I have seen some previous reviews that complain about certain aspects of the store, but my wife and I have not had any issues there. We will continue to be returning customers.

My Jan 21 receipts for Joat store equal $37.Its my understanding that in recent years this Joat Food LLC(dba Convenient Mart) store has been purchased & managed by a new husband and wife team.I just visited yesterday evening as I do several times a week for many years now. The male (husband) who Ive been told by a clerk is one of the owners was present. Ive seen him countless times and everything was always peacefully neutral in our passings & exchanges. I engaged him in what I intended as an amicable mini-exchange to share my opinion (on pricing of a particular item) as is expected from time to time throughout ones consumer life. This was one of those rare occations when it went south as I was interrupted & consequently misunderstood by this owner and ultimately met with hostile resistance as he barked at me a directive that I should not compare with other stores. After trying to restate in a better way for clarity as to difuse his overreaction to what shouldve been a friendly exchange, I gave up and suggested he not get so defensive. Well then he blew the whole situation into high drama by yelling and name calling me and violating my personal space during which I was somewhat afraid.Of course I left out once he moved out of my space.His hostile demeanor was over the top given the subject & circumstance. I surmise this was a true case of scapegoating because no other explanation fits. Nevertheless, verbal abuse out of an arrogant and defensive posture to push back against any (friendly) attempt at an adult conversation & constructive input from a customer is NOT tollerable!Repudiating customers is NOT the way to value them. This particular owner has WEAK interpersonal skills. Ive been patronizing this store for many years... but no longer!!!!!

No longer supporting a store that charges well above normal pricing for expired goods. Grabbed a pepsi and a rockstar, the pepsi expired 2 MONTHS AGO. THE ROCKSTAR EXPIRED AUGUST 14TH... Literally just grabbed them out of the fridge 10 minutes ago.
