I was really disappointed with the way the “Boss” of the place handle my critic. Even more dissatisfied with the way the Italian sausage was today. I asked if I can just get refunded because of the way it tasted from the one bite I took and how hard it was, not only that but I have never seen a sausage pink in the middle the way it was. The “Boss” then proceeded to say how she baked it for an hour and then grilled it, last time I check sausages can be cooked in 10-15 on a grill and not come out looking like that, Of course I didn’t take a picture before I place ketchup and Mustard on it but it definitely looked pale but I wasn’t thinking anything of it. I was going to take it back but then I realize never mind I’ll just throw it in the trash, I felt bad because I didn’t pay for it, a co worker paid for it today and I just didn’t want her money going down the drain. I would never order food from here again.

Went with a friend and ordered two scoops of a Perrys (less than $5) and it was the perfect cool down treat! The service was prompt and the staff professional. They also have an large food menu, but that will have to be for another visit/review. The parking lot can feel a little cramped, but its a nice spot with outdoor seating.

A great ice cream and grill place

CLOSED down. Please don’t waste your time driving here like we did. The whole parking lot was locked up and the shop closed up and dark. Their hours and website don’t say anything about why but we went at 5pm and they definitely aren’t open now.

This location is a favorite among the locals, and its right off of the 190 so its easily accessible to those that are just passing by. The menu is simple, and the service is fast and friendly. This is a great place to take a date, or the family! They even sell Pup Cups for the doggies - I would suggest stopping by!

If I was able to post 0 stars I would . Horrible customer service by the managerInflated prices .., a cheese burger cost $ 5.19 and its a frozen tasteless beef patty . I would never patronage this place again. It was a great place to eat 20 years ago but not anymore

My all time favorite lunch spot. Great selection of food and desserts.

Went here today and ordered shortcake boat and waited 25 minutes for it. Staff gave my boat to wrong customer and when asked where my shortcake boat was they said they were making it. I proceeded to wait a little longer as staff was supposed to be preparing my order. Turns out they forgot I was even standing there so I had to knock on window and remind them AGAIN about my order. Finally received it, it was good, hence the only reason there are some stars given

My niece went here today was talked to so rude by the manager their prices are supposed to reflect ingredient but over 5$ For a frozen beef patty is ridiculous . $4,50 for frozen fries ? Theyre charging Five Guys prices for poor tasteless food. Pastelitos were decent but made my hotdog with cheese (I despise liquid cheese) she offered to remake it but I couldnt wait any longer because of the anxiety attack I was having because of the bees casing the joint. (Im allergic to bees)

I find the custard better then Andersons, and the park is nice to walk through while eating.

I like the area it had sit down area with umbrella. The place needs more servers I waited a good 15 to 20 min there was only two employee working. They took a good 5min per item served to one customer. They Need to be in fast movement. 🤔

They were nice when greeting and taking our order but I will say for a large sundae they were skimpy on the hot fudge. I think the girl was new and getting trained tho bc the other woman was helping her do the hot fudge.

What a great location and selection! Lots of outdoor seating (no indoor) The perfect stop for front park / LaSalle park. Good ice cream, the people serving us ice cream were super flexible about my kids changing their minds, and we did not eat here but Im definitely going to go back and try their burgers when it gets warmer out!

Ice Cream is always the bomb just because I always get whatever flavor of Dole is available with vanilla soft serve. But the one lady you guys have working there her attitude is the worst. Their custard is creamy and delicious! The turkey sandwich is yummy as well. Its a busy area, so dont be surprised if there is a line. They are usually pretty quick. Easy access, its just off the 190 south.

This was standard summer time fare. Hot dogs, burgers, milkshakes. Nothing spectacular but not bad either. It just was. The parking lot was a tight squeeze. If you have a large vehicle be very careful getting in and out of the spaces. THERE IS NO PUBLIC RESTROOM. we only went because we were in the area. I wouldnt go out of my way to come here again.

The ice cream and hot dogs were good; however, we were surprised they didnt have some of the staple flavors like strawberry available. Our milkshakes werent spectacular, and the steak sandwich tasted like the meat was freezer burned. The staff asked how the food was, we informed them. Although the staff seemed genuinely disappointed we didnt enjoy everything, no concessions were offered to us and we paid over $30 for our food.

Long wait with not many people ahead of me. They dont make their own ice cream. They serve Perrys hard ice cream. I had the soft serve. The medium size was more like a small from Carvel. I was charged 75 cents for whipped cream. Only got two tiny dabs. Skip it .

My bike was chained to a signpost at a music event downtown. One of their vans ran over it bending the tire in half. Mike had a check for the damage in my hand within just a couple of days! Regarding their integrity—they are top notch.

Ice cream always great, not the cleanest place if You want to eat there and enjoy your dessert. Garbages were over flowing, tables were dirty.

Very expensive ($9 for two ice creams), and bad quality. My waffle cone tasted like a sugar cone and my partners sugar cone tasted like cardboard! Great location right off the bike path, and good looking building and grounds. Service was ok. Management needs to step it up.
