I had a very pleasant time at this Verizon store. Got there a little early for my appointment, signed in and while browsing two employees asked if I needed help. I asked a few questions about new phones and they were promptly answered. Eric assisted me with my old phone and fixed it n a few minutes. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Turns out I didn’t need a new phone, so I saved some money and was pleased with all the employees I encountered!
If you have the option to go another store, I would advise doing so.The team here was nice, but apparently I don’t look like I need help. When I was helped it was half-hearted and I definitely didn’t feel as though I got all my questions answered. I left googling most of my questions.
Dont waste your time coming to this store.I have a few issues. Starting with Verizon employees, they DO NOT care for your business. The company and their employees are involved in shady practices. I was not even shown my new contract and then expected to sign it!!! Based on this will be a better plan for you? When I asked to see it I was told to read it in my email but pushed to make a rushed decision in the store. In addition if you want to hear attitude do come in to this store. They are seeping with it.Verizon Corporate only cares for your money not your experience!!!
Absolutely horrific experience. I purchased a phone and paid for expedited shipping. The phone did NOT arrive at the agreed on time. Verizon is refusing to refund my money and I still do not have the phone. Basically, this qualifies as theft. In addition, I have a business account and am using this phone for business. I am a physician and had to borrow a colleagues phone in order to take call. Verizon could care less. Would highly advise against having any accounts with this grossly incompetent company. No one ever answers the phone at ANY of the Verizon stores because they outsource to the Philippines. I had to get connected to the store through the agent in the Philippines. The store clerk said I cannot have my money refunded-- same thing the agents on the phone said. So, Verizon thinks it can pocket my money and not deliver the product or service I paid for. Well see about that.
If you have the option to go another store, I would advise doing so. Customers here are not a priority. They leave you waiting forever and everyone disappears at the same time. Worst service ever never have I felt this way ever. Customer experience is not a priority here!!!!!!!
By far the worst manager and verizon store, because of continuous bad experiences at this store, i switched three plans to t-mobile today. thank you verizon, BYE BYE!
Eric is a great employee and he helped us get my wife a new phone. Thanks so much Eric
Some times helpful but not always so I give only 4 star may be 3 even.
Andy and Ed were the BEST!!! I finally have a new phone!!!!! Thanks guys!! Ill be in touch soon! 😉 Dr. Lena K. Magardechian
I suggest everyone avoid the Verizonwireless store on Victory Place in the Empire Center. For the 3rd or 4th time in the last couple of years I experienced or witnessed extremely rude and offensive behavior by employees there. To be fair, I also had some positive experiences with some employees there over the past almost 20 years, but the anti-customer service trend in the last couple of years led me to make multiple purchases and obtain service at other outlets. What I experienced this past week was so bad, I will never go back again, and am writing what I believe is only my second review of anything, ever.
I have just switched back to Verizon and somehow my number did not make it on to the account. After multiple phone calls and more than 4 hrs of waiting on hold, during those phone calls, I came in this past Sunday and was lucky enough to get Nicole as the person helping me. She was kind, patient and helpful. After working with the same Verizon customer service line and another 3 hrs later, I went home with a working phone and same phone number. Verizon still has issues, but Nicole and the entire team (management and staff) worked to solve this issue and I am grateful to all of them for it
Excellent service provided by Austin. He was professional and knowledgeable.
In every essence of the word, this Verizon store is trash! The workers refuse to do work if they can find a way around it, they give customers excuses as to why they can’t do it until they land on one that actually makes sense, and they seem to have a problem helping people of color in the store. Terrible experience and awful customer service. If I could leave a negative star I would do it!
Best service I’ve had at Verizon by Garik Hakobyan one of the supervisors at the store. He was very knowledgeable and helped us to transfer our numbers from T-Mobile . Amazing service 5 stars.
Quick in spite of restrictions. Helpful. Nice.
The corona virus has changed the way they do things. Their new system is contactless and is faster and easier way to purchase or replace a phone. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We got there when they opened and there was no waiting to get a sales person. Good parking and several eateries in the area. The only thing I didnt like was the lack of display models to handle and review.
They helped us with our pastors phone. He had forgotten his pin and even with their system down Austin and Annabelle went above and beyond. Thank you!!!!
Worst customer service ever. Recently I need to upgrade my iPhone 6 Plus to an iPhone 11 Pro Max and online I had experienced some issues and I recieved a text message telling me I could come to the store and they can help me with my issues. The manager, Fadia, texted me directly. After I got there, after half-hour of waiting in line in 110+ degree weather, she said I had to go online, which I already had done, and they didnt solve my problem in the first place which originated from me having technical problems online. After I insisted to solve the problem in the store in a very polite manner since I am a 15-year long customer, she called the security on me to give me an even more hard time instead of helping me. Both of the security guard and the manager, Fadia, gave me a hard time and stressed me out. I reported them to the verizon customer service online, and they solved my problem and I was able to upgrade my phone online with ease and I experienced good customer service online instead of in the store. In my opinion, Verizon should choose more professional and polite managers for each of their stores to have the best customer service. Fadia and the security guard were very unprofessional and rude employees and they should not have a job in the store in the first place for Verizon, most reliable wireless phone company in the US.
Good ! I was just stopping there to get some info, but the person that assisted USreally falled short in costumer service .fillings the survey if ask : 1 thru 5 being 5 the highest, knowing the new modality :- 5 👎
Wow what a service and consultation my Garik Hakobyan. Super smart guy with toms of knowledge about Verizon and products!!!
Add a pixel 3XL that died I took it to Verizon and it was out of warranty and I did buy insurance. Then they said even if I had insurance they could not replace it since they dont make. I guess Im glad I didnt buy insurance since I was out of luck anyway
Took 20 mins to buy a charger cord?????
Ive been a Verizon subscriber for 18 years. This brick and mortar is nicely laid out and workers eager to help. Worth a visit if you need a hand on to device.
I want to transfer from another carrier to Verizon but thanks to their staff I am not going to transfer. They are very rude 😤 and unpleasant to me. Thank you Verizon for good welcome .
I been Visiting so many Verizon Stores and this One the Customer Service was Extremely helpful and I will come back to this Place for My Phone needs. Please ask for Joshua.Very Great Guy, Very Knowledgeable and He is the Man.
Warning: waiting is long. Staffs here are great. Very helpful and understanding. Verizon is the best network in my book. The corporation need to put more ppl in this store.
Terrible lazy workers that know nothing about phones- like the last review stated, they do everything they can to avoid doing any work- every excuse in the book-
I was just helped by the two managers there over a problem with my bill. They were totally helpful, sided with me and took care of it. This was the best, most calm experience I have ever had with a phone company. Thanks guys.
Wow, what a great experience here. Nichole was super helpful, informative, and relaxed the whole time. Never any pressure or rush, made sure we understood everything clearly. This will be the store I go to from now on, even if its not the closest to me.
I had a simple question that when answered would have resulted in a $400:sale. They told me there was a 30 to 45 min wait and wouldnt answer my question unless I waited. I went to Best Buy and bought a phone.
Verizon just lost my business as they would not even talk to me about a new plan without loading their app onto my phone. That is simply overreach.
Worst customer serviceDo not recommend this store
Lawson provided OUTSTANDING customer service from switching over phones and phone plans recently. Friendly, professional and attentive to my needs.
Excellent service. The Verizon representative was very knowledgeable with the products they have, but she was not very pushy. She took care of my phones problems.
Long wait times. Slow service. Verizon itself has poor policies, but thats not the stores fault.
Always helpful at this location. Never can say enough... i drive about 6-7 miles out of my way because this store has the right customer service!
Walked in, asked for help, one staff came, didn’t know her name. She was helping but the attitude she gave was very unprofessional, she might as well not working there because thanks to her I didn’t really have a pleasant time. The disrespect she gives to a customer is unacceptable and should just be fired, she honestly made me feel inferior to ask for help
Be aware of the customer service. I purchased my new phone on black Friday with no protection insurance on it. Now after four months I realized they changed me for protection. When I called Verizon customer service they told me you have protrprote in your contract!!! They didnt refund me my money 😡. Please check your bills before paying.
They employ is and a manager are very very rudeDon’t know how to give customer serviceAlso refuse to tell me their nameOr tag IDDon’t think these people need to represent the Verizon
Really great customer service . Highly recommended. I came in to Exchange my brand new note 9 that was acting up and they did it with no problems and no hassles. So far Everything with Verizon has been really good.
Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Not pushy at all. In and out in a very reasonable amount of time.
Verizon service at this store is always great regardless of what I think of Verizon the company. The staff here are always attentive and mostly knowledgeable about their products. I come here when I buy my phones often.
One of the best Verizon store in LA although parking lot is always crowded. Friendly stuff and wide variety of accessories and phones to select. Usually they offer good deals and discounts.
Never felt so unappreciated as a paying customer. Went in to add a line and purchase a new phone had to walk out for a second the guy was so rude and at 750pm told me they were closed and wasn’t abel to get the phone . Will never return to this store and I’m even considering changing carriers . I will not support a company that lets there employees treat there customers this way .
Great customer service at this location. TJ was great to work with. He answered all our questions and set us up with our new phones seamlessly. Would definitely recommend this location based on our great experience.
Well theres plenty of Verizon Stores, and the Empire Center location parking is not the best. But I deal with the parking headaches because the Customer Service, Friendly Knowledgeable Employees Make this a Top Verizon Store to Deal With. They make trouble shooting, and upgrading your phone / phone plans a breeze 😉👍
The customer service at this store has always been poor (for years). Seems as though they are just looking for customers who are not tech savy, uniformed and easily manipulatable. For years, management here has stated they are an individual store not bound by Verizons policies and that no matter what you are told on the phone with a representative that they as an individual store have their own set of rules and policies and do not have to follow any other representatives recommendations or company guarantees. I have encountered more than one sales rep at this store location with a bad attitude and seriously have no desire to ever deal with anyone from this location again. They have given out wrong information and when proven wrong are still unwilling to admit they are and just give more atittude. Ratings on places like Google are for this very reason. So that we as customers can keep each other informed so we know what to expect and know whether or not to give a location our business. I would not recommend you ever dealing with anyone from this location.
Worst customer service that I’ve received, with rude people that they have no clue what they’re doing.
This place is understaffed, management is unhelpful. It took me 45 minutes to pay a bill I should have just mailed the check. But this shouldnt surprise me because Im always disappointed by something in this store.Save yourself the frustration go to another location if youre able.
Excellent experience, the employee Jessica at the empire center was super helpful and polite. Very knowledgeable and answered all our questions.
I didnt buy anything because when they check i already have verizon they loose the interest in sold i go because i want one moto mod but im interesting on by a phone for my son but because they have bad costumer service i need. To go to other verizon store
Helpful, not pushy staff. In & out with what I needed. Ordered on-line, found which stores had it stock, reserved it there, then picked-up in store.
After a horrible experience at a Verizon shop on Laurel Canyon in Valley Village where I was told that my edge program phone was defective and I would have to buy another phone and still have to payoff my broken phone...What??? Well I left in tears and decided to come to this location because I couldnt believe what I was being told..I was greeted by an employee named Ryan and he could see I was upset and said ...we will take care of you....it was that simple...he along with the manager Carlos ordered me a replacement phone to be shipped out to me overnight. ..all this in about 10 minutes..and at no cost to me....I cannot express how much I appreciate the way I was treated there...Please ...if you ever have issues with your phone or service DO NOT go to any other place than an Official Verizon Store.....those small places just want your Money....Thank you so much Ryan, Carlos and Julio
This 5 star is for Alex, after being on the phone for over hour and half with Samsung customer service and getting absolutely no answers, she helped me with the setting(I still need to see of the issue comes back in a week tho) . If you need quick help or even solve a complicated issue on your phone talk to her, she is professional, patient, QUICK and knowledgeable. Thank you Alex!
Where else could I go to get the new Samsung Galaxy 10 Note but to my provider that isnt good. My cell phone is and wont ever be without a Note. Love the Note and you will too!!!
I got anwers to the questions I had, straight up that was good.
Great products!
If i could give them 0 stars i would. They tell you on the phone they can do exactly what you need just come to the store and when you get there they cant do it. Waste of my time and gas. Dont believe anything they say!!!
Had a not pleasant visit to this place last year looking for a phone. I thought it couldve been just a bad day for the representative that day. I decided to give it another try this passed Sunday again looking to add a line for my daughter but this time it was worse!!.Hours posted on the doors said they close at 7pm on Sunday but it was at least 10min. before 7 and the doors were already lock. It kind of make sense since there was still a lot of people waiting to be helped already inside. A lady (I assumed Cristina from the name on her tag) probably supervisor/manager came to open the doors for customers leaving. I try to ask her for a site coding late maybe, but she wouldnt even listen to what was I gonna ask. She was very rude and impolite. Ive been with Verizon for more than 10 years but after this experience in really considering switching to a different carrier. I work at retail and know how much representatives like this can cost to sales so I hope Verizon is more selective with representatives before their customers start to switch to different carriers.
Great, very helpful. Belen really fixed me up. A real good guy.
Excellent service
Waited an hour just to pick up a phone I ordered. They kept telling me that they couldnt find my order and to continue waiting. The point of ordering before coming to the store was so I didnt have to wait when I come to pick it up!
The only one worth going to close to me us Medford. About an hour drive but well worth it!
Rafael was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions before I switched over and try to find the best phone to suit our needs he provided being with excellent customer service when Im ready to switch I will definitely see him
The staff is always attentive and helpful.
Good service
A shout out to Helen!!!!!! Thank you for getting all our stuff taken care of for us.When Metro PCS was giving us such a hard time, Shes Beautiful and she has pretty nails.
Over 2 hour wait to only restart the phone and say they cant do anything because out of warranty. When I contacted Google they said still under warranty. To simply send it in. Worst Verizon store.
Wonderful customer service received! Julio R. was patient and answered all questions even if I asked the question more than once! He deserves a raise! R stands for Rocks!! Thank you for your help! My dad and I apppreciate you! :)
Nana A,They did the same thing to me. I didnt know I was supposed to be turning in a phone. I went to the store just to see the phone me and my son wanted for x- mas. They had taken our name because I wanted to buy a charger for my sons old phone. I knew from previous experience NOT to buy a phone or deal with that Verizon store. When our name came up me and my son where looking at phones. I asked to buy a charger. I ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PHONE I WAS LOOKING AT. We left with a new charger. I ordered my and my sons phone online. I expected to pay 27 dollars a mtg for the new phones. I got the new phones in the mail. I rapped them and put the under the tree. On x-mas day my son and I activated our new phones and needed help from customer service. That is when I found out we where supposed to turn in our old phones. This was not on the internet when I ordered the phones. But it was posted in the store, turn in your old phone. The person on customer service was absolutely positive that I had signed up yo turn in my old phone No matter what I said. The only place that I seen that posted was at the store in the Empire Center.
Great service! We were greeted at the door by Colm Macnab, he was very helpful and helped us choose the right phone. Also informed us of new upgrade services.
Knowledgeable staff. Lots of cool stuff to look at. Youll do best to make an appointment before you go.
Worst service in Los Angeles. I could see the building with the cell antenna on it and it kept dropping calls even while I was complaining to their tech. Worst service in Maui Hawaii. Drops calls when the wind blows. I had one line unlimited was over $150 plus fees per month. Switched to Sprint unlimited for $50 per mo. No where near the trouble with the service. HEY VERIZON CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW!!
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Visited this store on Black Friday and was told that the wait time is 90 minutes. My experiences dealing with this VZW store have always taken more time than with others, but never to this extent. Ordering online and then picking up in store helped cut the time to 30 minutes.
Let see, they recommended changing our personal plan into a business plan to save 25% on all accessories purchased for all lines. Months later when trying to purchase accessories for our iphone, they do not honor the 25% discount on high end accessories, only bottom end accessories. Theres one thing I dont like, and thats people taking advantage of the small print. Not happy with untruthful sales reps at this location.
Went in to ask a few Questions about my New Phone and was Promptly Helped by KNOWLEDGEABLE ASSOCIATES ❗
This is the worst Verizon location I have ever been too. The salesperson took an hour to put the screensaver on my phone. He quoted me a guaranteed price...never happened. I went back the next day and spoke to a manager, he adjusted the price and after 4 hours never offered anything for THEIR errors. Spoke to the General Manager Richard Kim. He was no different......has too many meetings to call back. Next its corporate in NYC. Totally disgusted.
They helped with a warranty issue and when I got the new phone made transferring info real easy.
The employees who work here are just rude. I have been a customer with Verizon since they began service. So I have spent a lot of money with Verizon. The only reason I stay is their coverage service across the nation is good but trying to deal with getting a new phone is a real pain. They will not give you the time of day if you are not buying that day. When the Iphone 6 came out I waited a week after the crowds left to see which phone I wanted. I wanted to see if the Iphone 6 or 6 plus would work well in my pocket. No sales person would undue the sample models or even help me since they were out of stock but they did have their sample working models on display. I also saw two employees making fun of a customer behind his back. I thought that was very unprofessional. I do not know if Verizon reads these reviews but this is a company store and I think Verizon should take a second look at this store and its manager. There seems to be a similar pattern here if you are not buying then they are not helping.
Helpful and knowledgeable staff, only setback could be the wait time. They solved my issue.
Location is good. Thats it.
Worst Customer service I have ever seen in my life ! The manager do not care about customer at all! When they advertised a deal for black Friday, they sort of scam us! Didnt mention that we have to give them a smartphone to get the deal! when we registered for the deal, they asked for an smart phone to trade in! so we had to order sth cheap from amazon to trade in with them, in a 24hours time frame that they gave us!After a month we got a call, that their auto payment didnt registered properly! so we had to go back to store to do the payment. They put our name to waiting list to ask why we are there and after 45 minutes no one was available to get the payment from us! we asked for manager and she said O!i dont see your name in the list! After sitting in the store for 45 minutes!Pretty sure the staff are doing their best to ruin the name of Verizon!
Never had a better customer service experience. Ryan was the best. Efficient, knowledgable, friendly. This will be my store of choice going forward.
Great service but, like with any cellular store, you find yourself there longer than you wanted to be
My cellphone quit working and being a way old dude I couldnt figure out how to fix it so I Took it to the Verizon store in the Empire Center. Within a minute Lawson had me back in action. Thank you Lawson.
Very rude and gave me wrong information
Rude, unprofessional
Most Verizon stores Ive been to have been okay. I have no idea what happened here.As soon as I stepped inside, I felt like I was in that scene from Wall-E. Where humanity has turned into idiots and everyone cant look away from the screen stuck in front of their face.I wasnt greeted when I went in the store and someone cut ahead of me to get into the electronic line.I was told itd be a 10 minute wait. Finally after about 20 minutes, a customer service rep named Antoine called my name.I informed him I was interested in a new purchase. He asked me to hold on even longer.I spent the next 15 or so minutes answering questions and typing responses into a tablet. Finally, when we were all done he said my account was on hold and that Id be contacted in 2-3 days.I told him an order I placed the previous night was cancelled because the fraud department stopped it. They told me to go into a store. I then said I am obviously me, I have all the necessary identification and great credit. Theres no reason this shouldnt go through. He said he could see that so he called the fraud department. She gave me a quick quiz which I passed. It turns out I was conflicting with another Verizon customer who had the same first and last name as me.So after she cleared me I had to go through the whole application again. Then there was a Pre-cert hold. He called customer service and neither them nor he had the clearance to do anything about it and they didnt know why it was showing up.I wasted well over an hour of my time and put 2 hard hits on my credit report for nothing.Antoine told me to call customer service and they could help me.I did that, they told me to call the store and get my credit app #. When I followed through with that an extremely rude employee told me that once they close the application they dont have the number anymore and hung up on me.I couldnt believe it.The Verizon Wireless store in Burbank is the result when mindless consumerism runs rampant and the employees themselves were straight from the movie Idiocracy.
I visited this store on 8/17/2015 to get an estimate of my early termination fee. A young African American guy approached me and after a few minutes of reviewing my account, he told me that I cannot return the phones and I have to pay more than $900.00 to terminate the account. Later the same day, I called Verizon and asked the same question. They told me exact the opposite!. Now I can return my phones and my early termination fee is only $160.00!I cannot explain my frustration. First, I decided to visit the store to complain but I hope this negative feedback will be much more helpful than wasting my time to go there again.Denis
Just wanted to give this place another chance but no they failed again 👎
They showed me one phone and sold me another. Only found our once I got out. I guess your not allowed to look at what you buy in the store.
The manager was absolutely atrocious with service. Cannot believe such a store exists, I hope they shut down the store or rehire a completely new team to conduct business.
Extremely helpful
The sales associate was nice, but didnt have much personality. We asked for a 16 gb phone and was given a 32 gb. This wasnt explained at all and I didnt discover it until I got home. A small price difference, but still unethical.
I just want to make it known that the employees at the empire center verizon in are RUDE and the manager of the store told me that they cannot put a screen protector on my S5 because verizon doesnt sell them anymore. They could not tell me how much it would be to start my own account and refused to even run my credit without a purchase. I drove a few miles down the street to a verizon store on magnolia and hollywood way in Burbank, CA and the manager there (Mike Walper) helped me with everything, no questions asked and even put my screen protector on. He 10000% saved me from taking our business elsewhere. If I could give this empire center verizon and negative star rating, I would
I found the sales staff to be very nice, but seemed to have to check things when asked more technical questions.
Needed a sim card and had us up and running in 10 minutes. Fast and easy, cant ask for anything more.
