Took in my old lap top to check out why it showed way down. They said that they could work on it and it would run for a bit longer but recommended against it. So they didnt make any money off me. Thats the kind of service we need more of. If i have any other computer or cell phone problems you can bet i will go there first.

I went in to this with not knowing what to expect, but came out more than satisfied. I was blown away. Rarely does customer service impress me, as I work in that field, but when it does...wow.I had a growing cracked screen for an iPhone 11 Pro Max that was making it less & less possible to use my phone so something had to be done. The service was offered to fix my phone at my place of employment (where my phone is vital to my day to day tasks). I was nervous about whether my appointment was going to show, whether it was going to be fixed, & the quality of that experience.Joe, from uBreakiFix showed up right on time / early to the appointment, & was polite, professional & fast (And also a pro as I soon find out) He asked about the damage to my device, explained what fixing it would entail, & even potential risks, regardless of the odds.That was so refreshing. I value that kind of honesty in customer service above all else.If something goes wrong, or could, tell me up front, regardless of the odds. Joe let me know that there was a small chance due to the damage, that it could not work because of hardware issues & if not what to do. He didnt for-see it happening, but wanted to be fully transparent. Joe explained it would be about 20 minutes (Again, Im impressed that its much quicker than the 1-2 hours I I was quoted from Verizon).Out of the gate before Joe has even started, Im so impressed at the presentation, information, & keeping me in the loop, that I would have frankly been OK if things went for a turn for the worst with my phone.Not even 15 minutes later I see Joe walking to my office with my phone, fixed & fully functional...Again...wow.If anyone ever needs to get anything fixed I HIGHLY urge anyone to ask for this gentleman. With this being the first time I had to have my phone fixed, it has completely changed the perception I had about this process.I know if I need ANYTHING fixed, Im calling these guys & I hope that their employee Joe is available, because I know its going to done swiftly, & correctly. I recently went to ubreakifix after having a previous repair on my iPad speaker that ended up having multiple problems after it was returned to me. After the initial repair my iPad had a scratch on the screen and my iPad home button was damaged. However, beside those issues they did a good job on repairing my speakers. Today I went in because this same iPad is having some screen issues so I was hoping it could be repaired there. Although at my disappointment someone from the back either the manager or repair technician was being very unprofessional. He made a few snide remarks behind the wall like I couldn’t hear it. At first I ignored it but I decided to go retrieve my device because I didn’t like the atmosphere at that point. I will not be back! That store as a whole needs to work on there customer service.

Very pleased with the service. My laptop had a lid hinge that was breaking. The manufacturer didnt provide parts any more (thanks for nothing, HP, for not supporting something just over 3 years old). They tried to find parts online and even read through forums to try to find a fix that didnt cost more than the laptop was worth. In the emd they were completely honest and didnt try to fleece me. I would have needed to but another laptop and cannibalize parts. They gave me back my laptop and didnt charge me a thing for the diagnostic. Great guys

Good service, courteous employees, clean shop.2 stars because they replaced my iPhone battery and a month or so later, it’s dying 2-3 times a day. I judge that they used a poor quality battery. I’d expect a new one to last a few years, not a couple of months.

I walked in around 515 or so a guy helped me right away . I had broke my charger in my phone and couldn’t get it out . He done it right away and saved me from a struggle . Great customer service

I called ubreakifix Burlington after a camera replacement elsewhere resulted in my 2-year-old but otherwise like-new phone needing to be reopened two additional times to repair and undo non-camera-associated problems caused by an inexperienced, overworked technician and improper reassembly. The elsewhere place had fixed the problems they created during camera replacement but in the process left a fingerprint and piece of lint between the new camera and interior glass as well as shoddily installed a complimentary (for my troubles) screen protector, partially covering a speaker and leaving fluid/lines underneath. I was NOT driving back to elsewhere for the ninth time, yes ninth, to have these things fixed.Brennan, Joe, and Vance (apologies if the spelling is wrong) in Burlington saved my sanity and my phone. I highly recommend this location and these people to take care of your electronics. They know VERY well what theyre doing as well as limitations they may have, if any, meaning that if they believe there is a better/best person or way to fix something, they will make sure that person works on your device and/or they use the best method and materials appropriately. These guys are professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Took my laptop in cause the hinge on the right side was damaged. Computer would not power on. It looked like a new laptop or the charge for removing the hard drive to save my pictures, memories, etc. After a diagnostic check, Mike got my laptop to power up, I just cant close it. Now to get flash drives to temporarily store my stuff. ALL AT NO CHARGE! Go to these guys with any aging electronics problem before buying a new item!

This is our go-to place. Excellent at fixing (my familys) phones. Im sure Ive been there at least a dozen times, and theyve done six or seven repairs. Yes, my family is hard on phones. Reasonably priced (compared to other companies). They also fix PCs, etc. In many cases the mfr will direct you to this outlet. They even provide a short warranty after the fix.Look beyond the fact that the store lobby is empty and the few seats are uncomfortable. The real magic happens in the back of store.As of 10/2019 this shop has a manager that is really great: hell advise if its not worth fixing, best places to get a replacement, and all kinds of how-to questions, once you are a customer and get to know them. My first experience as a new customer, he advised we not repair our phones as there were too many things to fix. (Note: the store does not sell phones). Hes the reason I keep going back there.Highly Recommend.

Dropped my phone flat on its screen from about chest height at the gym on the concrete floor and the screen was completely dead. Took it in to uBreakiFix on S. Church St. In Burlington, NC and they had me right again in about an hour. Price was reasonable, about $117 after taxes. Definitely better than buying a new phone and actually cheaper than if I bought the extended warranty from Google. Highly recommend!

Brought my phone in and it took a little while past closing but they still helped me and even the people that came up. Would most definitely recommend them to my friends, family co-workers etc. I’m even going to bring my moms laptop up here to get fixed.

I took my daughters iPhone 7+ there to repair a pretty busted up screen. They had it fixed and looking brand new in less than 30 minutes. Definitely worth it. Saved both time and money.

Everyone at the store went above and beyond to solve my problem, even when it seemed there was nothing left to do. When something went wrong after the initial repair, the manager actually had my phone fixed with Apple at NO CHARGE to me, simply because they pride themselves on top-notch customer service and wanted to make sure I walked away happy. I was kept apprised of the repair status at all times, and they even gave me a loaner phone to get me through the couple days without my phone. I cannot praise these people enough!! Went to the to get my pixel 4 screen fixed the screen was black and not turning on and could be fixed under warranty. Guy takes one look and tells me its $290 to fix the whole screen because there was a scratch on it not a giant crack a scratch. Screen was working fine with the scratch and had been for weeks.

We were referred to uBreakiFix by the local Sprint store. As with any repair shop, I was skeptical of taking my phone anywhere that wasnt officially affiliated with Sprint or Apple. But they came highly recommended so figured Id give it a shot. Took it in for a faulty charging port. Tech took one look and and new what the issue was. Turns out it was just a bunch of lint built up in the port preventing it from charging. He cleaned out the port and checked the phones function. When I asked how much I owed, he told me nothing! I feel a lot of places would have taken my phone in the back out of my sight and made something up just to get a diagnostic fee if nothing else. I can tell you, this will be my first stop for any electronic related repair issues in the future. A fantastically cool group of people who have the expertise and tools to solve problems. My Note 8 screen was replaced and working good as new despite the best efforts of Samsung to ensure otherwise. I will happily make the hour and 10 minute one way drive for any future electronics repair. I only rated them 5 stars because Google reviews wont let me give them any higher.

I have been there 3 times on different issues with different hardware. Great people who take the time to explain things up front. Two of the three times I visited, they gave me free advice and I was able to fix my own issues...no charge. The last issue needed extensive troubleshooting....if we can fix it, you pay $40...if we cant, no charge. In this last case, they could have fixed it if I wanted but the parts would exceed the value of the device....no charge for troubleshooting. Great people and a cool place. One of these days I hope I have something to repair that they can make some money.

I recently updated my iPhone and it completely shocked my phone, messing it up. I had to get my screen fixed for Apple to look at it, so I went here just looking to get my screen fixed. Insurance charged me 200 dollars to get my 6s+ LCD and screen replaced but this shop did it for only 150 AND a warranty on my screen. Came in with a pretty messed up screen and an awful case and Jake hooked me up. Super knowledgeable and an all around friendly guy. He even tested my battery for me and informed me it was bad and fixed it on the spot. Highly recommend this place. The guys that work here really put your needs and questions above everything.

My husbands phone was mistakenly left on the outside of the truck and it made it about 9 miles from our house and 3 miles on the highway before it ended up on the ground. We were on the side of the highway that night in the dark searching around for his phone before we found it. The screen was cracked and broken and the corners of the phone were skinned up but it still came on.Samsung told us to take the phone to Ubreakifix. We live in Martinsville, VA and this store is over an hour away from us. Samsung quoted us a price to fix the phone if we sent it back to them so we had a reference.Before we drove out to Burlington, I stopped by a local screen repair place and the guy wanted $70 more than what Samsung would have charged us. So, we waited until this Ubreakifix store opened to call and get a price and make sure they had the parts in stock. Thankfully, the stars aligned and we ended up in Burlington.The gentleman in the store we spoke to was the owner. He told us all that was involved and I was a little set back-no one had mentioned all of that. But really, whatever needs to be done...its gotta get fixed.The phone repair took awhile longer than we were anticipating because there were issues with getting Samsungs software to go what needed to be done. Unfortunately, they had to do an essential factory reset on the phone to make Samsungs software to work and unfortunately, my husband has something like 18-million pics on his phone that werent saved on the memory card so the poor guy at the repair store had to wait while Google backed up the pics which added a good while to the whole process. There was a concern that we would be past closing time getting this done but the owner assured me that he would stay open until this was done.Anyway, phone is fixed. They charged less than Samsung quoted us. The phone is perfect now and it seems like its pretty much brand new because, in order to repair the screen, they had to replace the battery and the glass and the LCD display...The gentleman seemed to go above and beyond to get this worked out for us. I wasnt in the greatest of moods when we got there because of other circumstances...but Im feeling much better now that we finally have his phone back...and knowing that the repair was done correctly and completely. If the owner of the company ever reads this review, please know that we are both super grateful to you for fixing his phone and for staying open to get it done today and saving us from making the trip again tomorrow. And please know how grateful we are that you bothered with backing up his stuff as opposed to just wiping the phone clean and handing it back to us like that. It certainly would have been the easy way out and it would have saved about 2 hours of time but you didnt take the easy way out.Weve had smartphones since 2013 and weve had...6 between the 2 of us and weve never broken or cracked a screen. Neither one of us knew what was involved in this whole process and were glad its behind us at this point. Went in for a problem thought it needed 80$ part. He did a diagnostic on it in front of me and took phone apart and found out it was just and internal cable loose. These guys are awesome! I was having issues with the charge port on my iPhone and Chuck cleaned out the port to fix the problem. He didn’t try to sell me into replacing the port, though that would have been very easy for him to do. I even asked if I needed to replace the port and he gave me an honest reply saying he didn’t think it needed to be replaced. The most amazing thing, when I asked how much I owed for them to clean the port, they didn’t charge me one cent!!! Absolutely amazing in these times when everyone tries to “upsale” everything.
