Wow! This place is the BOM! This is one of est kept secrets in Butte, MT! Ive been coming to Butte regularly for the last 30 years and didnt know this place ever existed! This place has been here for at least 25 years!It is like a Costco or Sams club without the annual membership fee! The place is big. Has Kirkland (Costco) and Members Mark (Sams Club) brand products! Prices are really reasonable. You can get bulk Filled Mignon (beef tenderloin) for about $30! In Colorado, it would be upwards of $90! You can even get Wagyu beef!! They have a wide variety of everything -- including guns and ammo (which is what makes this place better than Costco or Sams)!

One stop shopping! You can get just about everything here, from food and fresh produce to fishing gear and gardening supplies. Good customer service, and super sweet cashiers who take care in bagging your groceries so they are kept cold.

A wide variety of items available. Laid out similar to Costco with no membership requirements. They also carry Kirkland brands. However, their pricing is not nearly as low.

This is a great store. They have a ton of Melissa an Doug products. They carry a lot of Kirkland brand products at a little higher than what you might find at Costco, but who wants to drive an hour to a crowded mega store when you can shop local? They have great unique outdoor products, good selection of alcohol and really awesome staff. Very welcoming atmosphere, and good variety of supplies for pets and other necessities.

We stopped in for a beer, and possibly food and the bartender was absolutely rude, and thought he was all that and a box off hoho’s . Evidently we didn’t meet his standards . So we drank out beer and went elsewhere . Need to teach him some customer service.

The employees and managers at 3 bears do not care about their customers. I am mask exempt, and have a letter from a medical doctor to prove it. I walked through the door, made eye contact with the person working the customer Service counter and made eye contact with at least 3 cashiers on the way in to the store. Then I had contact with at least 5 other employees throughout my 45 minutes in the store. Not a single employee said anything about me not wearing a mask. When I got up to cash out, the cashier refused me service because I was not wearing a mask. When I talked to the manager, he did not care that all of his employees did not say anything to me, did not care that they had wasted 45 minutes of my time, and literally made excuses that he cant control whether or not the employees say anything to me. Seriously man, you are the manager, take responsibility for your people. I spend my entire grocery budget and hunting budget at 3 bears. They get thousands upon thousands of dollars of my money every year. They will never see a flat red cent from me again.

Hands down the best grocery store/outdoor sporting goods store in Butte. Understand that this is relative and they dont have much to compete against besides the two worst Safeways on the planet and the most ghetto and tiny Bob Wards sporting goods in MT. That said, they have good groceries and meat. They have a lot of kirkland brand stuff (at a taxed price because they go get it), and their sporting goods are the best in town. They have room to improve but at this point, its your best bet in Butte. They have tons of parking and gas as well. The store is large and the isles are huge so your not all crammed in there all over everybody which is great during the pandemic.

Very convenient place to shop with a great selection of products. Prices vary but due to location I do not know if you can really argue that it makes a difference. Very friendly folks and well laid out floor plan. The outdoor section is fantastic with a good amount of products. Worth a stop by if you are in the area.

Love this place!! They have meat primals which can be complimentary cut by the meat department. The savings buying our meat this way has been astounding! We package in freezer paper and stock up for 2 months each time. Saving the family money for summer fun!! It is like Costco but they do not require any type of membership! Just go and save!!

Has quite a decent selection of groceries, often in large quantities. Pricing varies from very good to not good at all. Occasional specials can be GREAT.They also have outdoors gear of all sorts... many items I havent found elsewhere in Butte..

Three Bears is a National Treasure. If you’re going by on Route 80 through Butte STOP here. This store is an amazing slice of what it took and still takes to survive in Montana. Guns, Meats & Dry tack. Loved this store, the people and the service. I didn’t think to take any pictures

Best pharmacy staff in town. Always kind and prompt, they really know and care for my family.The grocery selection is mostly bulk items, a great stand-in for Costco or Sams since we have neither one here. Many Costco/Kirkland items for sale. Watch for discounts; there are some great deals. And dont miss the free coffee up front!

Was first visit and was amazed at the size of the building and amount of merchandise offered at Three Bears. Close to Butte and easy to get to. Will definitely be doing more shopping there.

I love 3 bears here in Butte! My family are avid hunters and outdoors people and love the store. I live 3 blocks away and I even have my prescriptions filled there. My adult children stop there on their way home from work, so convenient for them as they built their homes near.Three bears is an asset to the whole family . ❤the staff in the store, outdoor shop and the pharmacy! I wish they had coupons, grandma mizzer here😉

Great deals here. We got 10 lbs of prime steak for $46. It’s pretty much like a Costco.

By far one of the best stores I have ever seen plan to drive here for all my shopping. This store has a great helpful and friendly staff and the nest selections are amazing. You can see the meat and produce is fresh. It also has a big all natural and vegan isle. Think of a small town Costco but way better!

Great store, if you enjoy shopping at Sams club and or Costco then youll appreciate 3 Bears. Great sporting goods dept, (outpost). Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. If youre a hunter, fly fisherman or need camping gear check them out. No membership fee required.

This place is pretty good I would get into the Halls history of Three Bears Alaska but I wont wherever the originated but you can see it from the road the people are nice ready to help him I hate going in there Sporting Goods Department cuz they have so many good deals I end up spending more money than I want to but thats where I go if you need shells and everything let me know if you cant beat the price I got a box of 45 shells and ammo belt for like $20.34 today.

I like that I can buy Costco items in bulk or as singles here. Pricing a little higher but still less than driving to Missoula or Helena to go to Costco. Appreciate the senior discount on Tues/Wed.

Three Bears is an awesome store. They have gas right off the highway and the BEST muffins! Lots of options in the grocery department and some great prices as well.

I love Three Bears. Everything I need in one place. The meats, cooler selections and produce are fantastic and they have a yummy selection of premade meals, salads, pizza and snacks in the deli. The pharmacy is the best in town.

I use the pharmacy. There is hardly ever a wait. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. I dont much care for the grocery part of the store. Cashiers always rude and never smiling. Pharmacy is 5 star and if your lucky enough they ring up your groceries too.

Today I just picked up four essential items. I like it when I have time to browse I am forever finding new and interesting items.The fact that you can get bulk items and save money doesnt hurt either.I have a daughter who has celiac disease (wheat allergy and like about 30% of those with it., she also is allergic to corn. I or she can find items at Three Bears that are free of these items.

We love this place. The people are really friendly and when we cant make it to Costco we can come here for a a lot of good bulk foods, great meat and an awesome sporting goods section!

I love ths store I go there at least 2 times a month. Every thing is organized and easy to find. All the fresh food. Is fresh and beautiful. The meat department ( if there were 10 stars I would give it 10. Super Wonderful. I have allways been treated with kindness and respect. And Im spending my money in my own home town. As It should be. 3 Bears is a minature Costco, complete with many Kirkland branded items, great pharmacy, beer & wine selection and hunting & shooting selection. Parking is more available than typical Costco access.

I bought a new pistol at full price and asked if I got a free box of bullets with it which at one time was the custom in Montana, but no more. The manager Mike gave me a big lecture about why they don’t treat customers like they used to and was rude and arrogant. I’m a 74 year old disabled Viet Nam vet who was born and raised here and didn’t need to be talked down to for simply asking about what used to be a tradition. Back to online shopping. Like to shop locally, but...?

Great store. Good place to buy in bulk. No membership needed.UPDATE;Used to be a great store. But they kept management on that sees no issue discriminating against instacart when many folks who use it are elderly or disabled.

I always enjoy going to the Mom and Pop Style grocery stores and spend my money with them instead of a grocery store thats a monopoly chain that doesnt have good customer service nor good selections of stock thats not outdated period but with three beers grocery store I enjoy the home feeling you get in Hospitality as well.

This is truly a one of a kind store in Montana...They are a chain from Alaska and have anything and everything (that you really want). Unlike Walmart, that has cheap products for cheap prices, they have great high quality items for a reasonable price. They are also the only place Ive found in Butte that carries specialty flours like bread, pastry, and wheat; just to name a few. Along with being the only place that carries true bulk grocery products in the area they also carry hunting, fishing, and camping gear. With a great selection of survival products and outdoor patio furniture.

Not a bad place by law stuff in bulk some stuff cheap some steps not its just a store you know right off the highway right by the Butte Harley shops just right there if youre out this way on the East Ridge and she was like you know pretty easy to just swing in and grab what you need and swing out

Ive been going to 3 Bears since they opened because its close to my home. I love the pharmacy, the outpost, and they have great meat. Their brand name jerky is the best kept secret in the whole place. The produce is hit and miss, cereal and dairy are outrageously expensive and they recently seem to have a staff turnover problem. Theyre not always good about removing expired products off the shelves so you have to always check expirations.

Pharmacy is great but they need to replace one of managers there, her attitude is less then welcoming or professional. Also needs to update and improve sides, salads & cooked chicken in back.

We love finding some of our staples in large quantities without having to travel to bigger cities to find bulk stores.

Food is sometimes expired. Fruit and vegtable section carries rotten food. The store is clean but you have to watch expiration dates.
